Although Augustus looks cold and uncaring due to her rather stoic and well-dressed appearance, as well as her reputation as a rather ruthless politician, Augustus has experienced the terrors of war firsthand as a legionnaire, and as such, doesn't enjoy unnecessary bloodshed, unlike the glory-seeking politicians who'd come before her, and many of the Emperors and Imperators who'd come after.

Augustus prefers to win her opponents over with words and deed first and foremost, as a peaceful unity is what she ultimately desired for Rome, only resorting to warfare if someone proved deaf to her words or was otherwise too much of a risk to attempt diplomacy with.

As a result, if she has any regrets about her reign, it's that she left a European superpower in the hands of those far less inclined to play nice with its strength.

While Gensai wasn't born nor adopted into any sort of noble family, his birth father and adoptive father were both retainers to the daimyo of the Kumamoto Domain, which meant that he still was rubbing shoulders with high society, even if he was ultimately never really destined for anything major in politics. Still, he was highly cultured for an assassin and bodyguard, to the point where it wasn't hard for him to earn the respect of those whose beliefs he shared in the Ishin Shishi.

It's a far cry from the demeanor of his fellow hitokiri, Okada Izo, really.

Considering Godzilla's physical frame primarily takes after Shin Godzilla, her tail functions as a secondary mouth, complete with all appropriate functions, including a direct link to her digestive system, teeth to bite with, and yes, the ability to fire her Atomic Breath. It can even "unravel" its trip, as the seams in its icon might attest, to better latch on to something or fire a larger Breath attack, though this is notably uncomfortable for Godzilla to do. The tail even seems to possess some rudimentary instincts of its own, as it'll snap at people who get too close if Goji doesn't explicitly trust them, without her even really seeming to realize it.

Maria was something of a control freak in life, though as a Servant, she's trying her best to get past this quirk of hers. Luckily, it was never so bad as to seriously strain her relationships with others, but even now, she has a tendency to grow less composed the more she loses control over a situation. Despite this, she doesn't externally show it, but it can be seen in how she'll make decisions more hastily without thinking them through, and how she'll rush to regain control, only to likely make things even worse.

This is the primary reason she's so intent on working past these tendencies of hers, as she's come to realize how detrimental having a desire to keep everything in check can be, as things can and will likely go wrong at some point, regardless of one's best attempts to prevent it.
