Day 7: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Are we getting tired to toil for 5-6 days a week? Are we getting tired for thinking that we need this and that, and where to get it? Are we getting tired from everything that causes us to be distressed? Most of the times, we are being compared to a mouse or hamster that we are continuously running on the wheel. At the end, we are still getting tired. No matter what kind of unpaid vacation leaves we do, or things that we are considering it as “break time”, still the same. On the next day, back to square one. Good news! Jesus has offered us a rest, not just only a deal but it is a both physical, emotional, and spiritual experience to rest on His presence. Come to Him, ask for forgiveness, surrender everything, and believe that He can gives us rest that not even the things in this world can give it to us. When we are resting on Him, guaranteed that the peace that coming from Him can guard our hearts and minds, keeping us from worries and anxieties. And we can regain strength through Him. God bless you all, and if we are too weary from the problems, worries, overwork, or everything that causes us to be burned out, come to Him, for He is going to restore us. Good night to all. (Matthew 11:28) Why “Teshuvah” in my hashtag from last few days? In Hebrew, Teshuvah (תשובה), which means “repentance”, that if we are heavily burdened from our sins, or if we sinned against anyone and to Him, we can ask Him for forgiveness; also means “Return”, that’s why we want to turn to God; and lastly means “Answer”, if we pray to Him humbly, He will respond to our prayers according to His will. 33 days to go. "God designs to spread the gospel by the suffering of his agents. A means to make Himself superior to life ... how can you show that when you only prosper?...talking about it just is not enough" -J. Piper. ......Some how my sickness and minimal suffering compared to that of those that have come before us has to be worth something. If in the least or most bridging the gap, letting those that don't have Hope, have hope, that it's possible to live in pain and yet have peace of mind and heart. Not because of what I can do for myself, but because of what Jesus has done and continues to do in my body, in my heart, in my thoughts every hour and day I Call on Him. He answers. Jesus is more real than the pain I face and not even the worst day is as worse because He is present and gives me Hope.
