Losing my absolute shit picturing the league in hiding, out in their quaint little ship on the sea and dabi, cause of course shiggy put his nosy ass on lookout, managing to encounter an actual siren :(((

And it sucks at first cause it’s bad enough he gets carsick— but on a fucking ship??? the amount of meds he’d’ve downed just to stand upright on the deck would be enough to put him out of commission but ever is he so determined to get his vengeance, and it wouldn’t be the first time he defied his own body.

And at first he thought it was those medications that projected the noise, that he took too much and was starting to hallucinate because of it.

But just then a soft, almost haunting melody wafts it’s way through the otherwise dead sky and the crass crashing of waves against the bottom of the ship. It lilted and moaned like the misty, unpredictable waters that surrounded them.

He refused to admit the tune was familiar, one his mother would hum whenever the tantrums grew particularly difficult…

He’s sprinting back and forth from the edges of the ship, eyes scanning every which way, mere seconds away from calling the others to make sure they were properly prepared to fight an enemy off when a cold sensation grips him by the drapes of his dramatic jacket and nearly plunges him into the watery depths below

He’d have truly been the disappointment his father claimed him to be if he didn’t have the reflexes to jar his body backwards, pulling the intruder down with him as they both hit the deck

i just find the sight of siren!reader n dabi rolling around on the deck so funny. wrestling and shit—reader trying to bite at him with her sharp teeth and dabi palming her forehead to keep her at bay LMFAOOOO
