su half agate si au 1: dan vs crossover

og ramble, 2021: "alternate dan vs self insert: Half-agate mae gets transported to a world where rose revealed herself or was discovered as pink diamond and did some other stuff in order to save the crystal gems & keep the earth left alone (so the warp pads r still there as a plot device for mae) Mae, instead of giving up or going nuts, lands halfway between the two & decides to give less fucks (everyone she knew & loved is gone. there might be a fully-human her out there, but she doesn't wanna disrupt their life). She forges an identity, meets dan & chris in a brief stint of college, & the rest is history. Also she gets top surgery.

The explosion scar is from a mission with some rogue rubies, the curved scar is from a sword training session gone wrong(not in an angsty way just in an "oops steven wasn't on hand to heal it right away so they had to use regular first aid), the jagged scar on her forearm is from a self-harm incident with her claws post-danvs-arrival, and the smooth scar on her shoulder is from a close blow on a gem mission. The discoloration on her wrist is simply a birthmark. Also, she's been retconned to have a corrupted quartz claw scar on her torso, and no belly button on account of her growing in a species without an umbilical cord(her agate mom). Also also mae's an age regressor--she does it to deal with stress mostly, sometimes involuntary sometimes for fun--ranges to about 5-9 years old. Apollo(from morningstar) and mae are in a poly v with dan(with dan at the center of the v). Apollo starts dating dan during the series, and Mae starts dating dan(after talking it over with apollo & him) sometime around/after 'vs the family cruise' or post-series! Together, they make the Chaos Trio!!

Basically mae takes a big hit to her head & a little to her gem (which may or may not be related to Medic fiddling w it when they find her & stopping immediately when it starts to crack like "oopsie", haven't decided yet), loses all her memories past landing in the danvs universe & giving less shits/relapsing into depression self-destructive habits, is taken in by the mercenaries, and then is super suspicious when apollo & dan show up to rescue zer

So basically Mae gets taken in by the blu mercs, they become fond of each other, she graduates from on-base intern to in-battle backup to a scout(they nickname her Flanker or Midfielder to tell the two scouts apart), sometime along the way they meet Apollo & Dan, and then the events of the comics happen after the chaos trio gets separated again by some plot device or another. Also zhe definitely fuses with Scout at one or more points, and maybe some other mercs.
