Maglor with that silly overly ornamented videogame armor (Curufin made it as a gag gift)

#silm #silmarillion #maglor #i was looking at some of my armor designs (namely glorfindels gold stuff and feanors tree design & plumes) #and wondering if it looked to complex for battle #and then i remembered video game armor designs where the pauldrons are practically a helmet #and it looks like it would take 7 hours to don #after designing this the verdict is: #hard to draw (perspective)(not fun) #hard to color (many small shapes)(not fun) #confusing to keep track of (too many pieces)(not fun) #doesnt make sense (somehow both clunky and pointy)(not fun) #looks cool (fun) #so while it was fun to play around with i am definitely never doing this again lol
