Hmmm thinking about the juxtaposition of rand's body feeling like an increasingly hostile place for him to exist in (through all the injuries he sustains) as his queer vibes bounce off the charts in the first half of the series - where he notably tries to convince himself he's in love with three women and tries to avoid lanfear's forced attentions - while developing such increasingly emotional and co-dependant relationships with other men... he is so gay and repressed godbless. It's almost like he's not sure if it's a good thing to be queer like he's not sure if it's a good thing to be the dragon reborn - but both of those qualities are technically a part of him.
