The V.A.N.N.I network is no ordinary Simulation.
The V.A.N.N.I mask isn't just a hollow gram. Theory. I Believe that the V.A.N.N.I mask, that Cassie wears, is supernatural. I do have a few evidence, as theories. So, the first thing you'll notice right away when putting on this mask. It'll transform the environment around you.
Showing the cracks, and the digital illusions. That looks like in certain area's shows you the power surging inside the walls, where the ports are. And it has the heat vision, to see the robot's all around you.
And where they are hidden. It even shows the parts that are missing, used to be there. That the mask has special technology, to render in. There's already a rumor that the mask, such as the user sees, they will see that the mask tempers with it. That is where things get complicated, with calculated terms.
Such as, when Cassie put's on the mask, she sees visions, such as a photo graph or a structure, or plushies that she is familier with. Represents her memories, and friendship, that she made with Roxanne wolf. There is one soda machiene that shows Roxy's picture located in Monty Golf.
That there is a soda machine near the broken Golf course, that show's Monty's picture in front. If she put's the mask on, and looks at it again, the picture will change into Roxy's. So that is proof, that the mask, somehow show's the memories of the user, who uses it.
So, that is the top speculation. The obvious speculation, of what you see in the environment, that they are illusions. The objects, or the environmental change, is fake. There's that one.
So, lastly...Or next thing, is the supernatural. There's still so much theory as to say, how is the Mask is doing that? Such as, walking through objects. The ones, that you see are hollow grammed, but are solid, that you could walk through them.
And those, that do not look hollow grammed, but you can walk through them. And that the fact, that you could hear voices as well.
Not really sure what they mean? Is the general theory. But of course, the mask is much more to it, (Or powerful wise.) With what it can do. But, not how it does that? This gadget thing...Is proven not to be an ordinary thing.
Which, could also mean. (My theory.) Is that, in the Pizza Plex. The things that you do see, or use. That are rare, are not real. Or 'fake' objects for some reason. That existed in the main game. But, couldn't be found without the Mask. Or, another thought, I had, that those hollow grams, inside the Pizza Plex, did exist.
But you can't see it with the naked eye. It's sounds crazy. But maybe some of those structures, such as one of those Monty seats, that were one of them. Were hollow grams, but we just didn't notice it?
Playing as Gregory, he would have walked through a door, that must of been a 'fake' one. But, just didn't notice it.
So, at the beginning of the game, the first 10 minutes of it, you'll see a hollowgram. I'm just gonna call it a 'Glitching' yellow box. That it physically blocks you, without the mask, but you can walk through it when you do.
That is an object, that might be one of those 'solid' boxes that are...The fake ones, or copies. And you can walk through those ones, but you can't walk through the real ones.
Although, I do have another theory, about those real/fake objects. That...Maybe they might be real, but the mask detects it as a pathway. Or something, and it turns it into a hollow gram. And another one, with the Monty Golf, Light house floaty thing.
It had the same effect. And it feels like a real object. And the masks detects it, and turns it a 'Glitch' giving it the glitched affect. And when you put on the mask. You are able to walk through.
This glitchy theory sounds a bit confusing with that one. But, it's still very strange. This is the part, where I find the most mysterious with this Supernatural thing, where this object doesn't appear as a 'Glitch.'. It is certainly real. I think it is, because. It didn't appear like that.
This would be for a few certain things. But, the main one. Or ones (s) Even the ones, that are not real. Stops you? The main one, that is the real object, is the big Monty seat. It had no 'Glitched' affect on it. It looked totally regular.
And this is the one, that's the most....One of the most puzzling ones. Is that, when the mask transform's that piece to walk right through it. It enables Cassie to go through. And that's the one with the Catwalks as well.
It's like as if, you are walking around with superpowers. That is the part, where you activate those invisible catwalks, and walk above them. With out falling through.
There is no way, any mask with digital scenery can unlock, or create a hidden pathway. (Or like reveal the path. ) Because it's all about seeing things you can't see.
And that, it can open up a portal inside the Mouth, of the Gator. I believe, that the Catwalk was the most activated location to use the Mask, and it's secretive unlocking powers. And Cassie, was able to walk through that. It's like as if, she's traveling between two barries though each other to another location.
And that, is how Vanny when she first appeared, was seen. Hopping along the 'Pick up' line, from the back of the Daycare entry, then disappeared into thin air. I'm thinking that. The mask is more powerful, than showing what you can see. In comparison, that those cannot.
Referring to my quick theory, that the illusions in the Pizza Plex, does exist. In order to see them, is to wear the Mask. Or that, the Mask can summon those pathways with what it can see. Through it's advanced technology. Enabling you the ability to travel through the Map. In places that are usually, and visibly inaccessible.
Now, onto the voices. It is believed, and that for many, that the voices you hear, are the voices, from past event's during Gregory's journey. And Cassie in the Ruin, are hearing them. The specific location, that I found that is the spookiest, is inside the Daycare.
Indeed, you'll hear those voices of the Children, that used to be there before. But what, is most disturbing, and sad about. Is the history, that unfolded with that. The one that links up with the News paper, about a young boy. Being reported, to have been traumatized, by both Sun and Moon.
That again, I don't Sun intentionally meant that. Because, bear in mind that the Virus, is responsible for bringing out, the worst out of them. And, I posted a theory before this.
That, I have said, that it must of been, a miss understanding from the boy. That must of been the after math. When he saw Sun, believing him being the monster. After, being Moon. And changing back. If you listen closely, you'll hear a boy's scream.
That sounds significantly, like the boy that has happened. That happened in the past. But further on, what makes this more than just the past. Is that you'll often hear children's laughter.
And other ghost voices, that usually. Hypothetically, being used as a haunting. This gives these eventful memories, a possible relation with haunting.
The daycare, (Including other locations.) That has the ghostly whispers, are haunted. And that, with the connection of Sun being trapped in that realm. He would be hearing those children's voices, on and on. If he was available.
And lastly, the fake things, becoming real. It's not the hollow grams, I'm talking about the things you activate. And can see. The Giant Endo skeleton, is the big one. And also including the ones, in the Daycare how you put on the mask.
And the star's light up. There's also the road, in Roxy race way, that's been broken down, with the lights off. Can turn back on. And especially, with that ball. I'm not sure, if you know this.
There is this black ball that looks like a pool table ball. Or a soft ball, weight thing. Up in the Atrium roof, at first, it looks like to be a regular ball with nothing going through it.
But, if you put the mask on, and look at it again, you'll see some circuits flowing into it, as if it still has electricity flowing into it. And if it has some kind of purpose with it, or not. (Probably, not.)
The thing, that I find the most mysterious, weird. About, and also very suspicious about it. With how it is affecting Helpy. Is the activating things. There's been a few of them, that in the fake world, operating the real world. Yet, it should not be possible.
Such as the screen, beside the Daycare, with the Two offices beside it. The Roxy's statue. But most Importantly...The Giant Endo. How the hell did that thing wind up there? Where the hell, did it come from?
And, what's so weird, is that. Even though they spawn in the digital world, but the affects of them, connecting into the real world. So, going inside it's mouth, took Cassey down into a vent from the Theatre, and into the basement of the Fazer blast. It literally took you, all the way across the Pizza Plex!
And, with the way, it spawned. Walking into it, it's so physical. It's structure looks legit. Kind of. What is happening here? Is the Mask creating some kind of structure, it builds to connect into the real world? Like this seems the only thing to describe it.
But, can't explain. Ans what's so suspicious about it, is when Heli said, "Oh, it's only in your head. There's nothing to worry about!" Really, Helpi? And how much of this thing, we don't know much about...Nothing to worry about?
So, pretty much. This mask...I think, while the general idea of it, being a digital simulation. But, of all the things it can summon, unlock, spawn, stuff like that. There's so much going on deeper with this thing, that is shrouded with mystery.
That it's not only, used to see things the normal eye can't. It is also supernatural, and harness powers, to travel through things. That it might actually be turning these things into the 'Glitches.'
And break them down. and is connected to the afterlife. It may even manipulate that too. That may be one of those powers, it uses to travel.
Like what the developers said in their main description, is to travel intro the world of the unnatural. It was something along the lines of that. It is...Like many video games, was a hint hidden in the description. Implemented into the game.

...I think it would be Very Funny if, after all the speculation Gregory was a robot, he's human and Cassie's a robot.

Ok so I was searching the internet for a good hour for an answer to this and didn't find shit (though maybe there is one, but I couldn't see every post because I still haven't seen the whole game) until I came up with a possible answer by myself, so I thought that I'd share my thoughts here for some poor souls that are also bothered by this question and don't want to ruin their game experience
So, HOW THE FUCK DOES THE V.A.N.N.I. MASK WORK??
If this question popped up in your head you propably saw at least the beginning of the game and honestly I don't think I'll need anything else in this post
I also saw, that this is not touched upon in the game itself (i saw posts of some people, who did see the whole thing)
Ok anyway to the fucking point, sorry
So when we get the mask, this occipit transponder is, fucking, injected into Cassie's head
The occipital lobe is responsible for visual perception (yk depth, color etc.)
A transponder is used for identifying, detecting and locating obcjects, but for communication (though this isn't that important here I think)
It makes her able to see and communicate with Helpi even outside the mask
But notice how she can only see the glitches AFTER she gets it?
Without it she wouldn't be able to. (Though it can just be a gameplay thing and I'm overthinking this)
But mostly I think it also just, yk, does more than the name and Helpi tell us, since transponders shouldn't really work on fucking PHYSICAL stuff, like, walking through walls, right?
Well, this shit happens in the future (and in another universe, but who cares) so this chip propably just transports you into the AR world, when combined with the mask. You don't just see it, you ARE there. At least partly. That's why you can touch stuff, that is only from that place.
And partly, because, well, you still are visible in the real world. For example gregory still saw Vanny, right? Freddy didn't, propably because of the mask sending a signal or something yadda yadda (holy shit I'm sick of this word 💀), but she was making Gregory's vision glitch, because she wasn't 100% here. She was in the AR world at the same time (again, it could also i just be a representation of that and Greg didn't really see it, but idk, that motherfucker propably does send some waves that affect our meat jelly when in use)
Anyway, this whole "ar" thing is just actually VR premium
Tldr; this chip Cassie gets injected into her head partly transports her into the AR world and lets her go through walls
Sprey for my incoherent babbling and total lack of capacity to explain things clearly I hope this helps in any way 💀

FNAF Ruin DCA Room
Mild spoilers for FNAF Ruin under cut
So, when you put the Vanni mask on in the DCA room in the Ruin DLC, the room appears different than it does without it on. It's almost as if it's showing you the room before the boys were infected with the virus. It's clean, or at least as clean as it possibly could be. The type of clean you would expect from Sun.
There's a few really fun details in both rooms, like the playhouse and the sticky notes. In the playhouse in the main room, there's piñatas of Roxy, Monty, and Chica but no Freddy. There's still random parts from both staff bots and endo skeletons, which is odd, but maybe the boys used to have help in the form of nanny bots? That or it was a joint storage for the theater staff bots.
In the shoot-off room, there's a little bed! It's just a bunch of pillows pushed together, but it definitely looks like they tired to make a bed. They also have extra clothes in there, meaning those clothes probably didn't belong to anyone possibly camping in the room as theorized. The DCA probably had those for the kids who may have accidentally gotten themselves messy and needed new clothes. I think the arcade machine having those glowing lines above the screen farther proves that the machine is how Eclipse was first infected with the virus. It's the only instance of an arcade machine having those lines in the game from the playthrough I watched, meaning that specific one is somehow significant. It's a stretch, but that's how I feel.
The sticky notes are odd and I'm not quite sure what they mean, but they do kind of help push my "DCA is some form of a Mimic" theory. There are sticky notes all around the Megaplex, including behind the desk in the daycare. The DCA have probably seen the workers using sticky notes, on top of the kids drawing stuff in the Daycare. They probably were simply mimicking what they'd seen before, which is why the grocery list is just butter.
Below are some pictures of both the main room and the shoot-off room!

The Story of the Steel Wool FNAF Games? A “short” summery
Hello, This will be a summery of the current FNAF story set up for you to be caught up and not as confused as the first month Security Breach was released. This post will not be focused on Theories just what is fact.
Tumblr media
HELP WANTED: this game showed us that Fazbear entertainment had returned and attempted to turn their shady past into a monetizable story. Due to them wanting to cut corners they scanned old animatronic AI chips so that the in game AI would be as accurate as possible. After doing so a man named Jeremy (The alpha tester who would actually play the game) killed himself with a guillotine paper cutter. It was discovered that something got into the game, took the roll of the Spring Bonnie in the final minigame and attempted to steal Jeremy’s body.
Tumblr media
You play as a beta tester on a new team cleaning up what the old team left you. By the end with the help from some hidden tapes you try to destroy the anomaly only to fail and have it “Lock you away into a room” before to return back to the game as if nothing had happened. Later in the DLC you find a white rabbit mask and while wearing it you can commune with the anomaly.
Tumblr media
These appear to be the events that lead up to Vanessa becoming Vanny
Tumblr media
Special Delivery appears to show off a new type of delivery service that is tampered with, turning the mass-produced animatronics violent.
We also get accidental messages from a man named Luis talking about his co worker Ness
Tumblr media
Throughout the events of these texts Luis tries to get coffee with Ness who keeps ignoring him. That is until she asks him a bit about his job in IT. In the unreleased Emails Ness creates a fake IT Email and starts heavily sabotaging the company locking people out and activating the same virus from Help Wanted into the animatronics turning them violent. Ness then gets a job at the Pizzaplex.
Tumblr media
Security Breach's story on it’s own is extremely bare bones so this will be very fast so we can get into the important stuff. A boy named Gregory would constantly hang around the Pizzaplex. One day the security guard scares him bad enough he fears she is going to kill him. Glamrock Freddy who broke down in that mornings show is used as a hiding place by him. The two work together to survive the night and destroy the Pizzaplex animatronics that have turned violent. In the games story we learn a game called Princess Quest seems to be the key to free Ness aka Vanessa from the anomaly but also under the Pizzaplex is the Pizza Place from FFPS which houses a strange nameless creature that appears very similar to the long dead William Afton.
Tumblr media
Now we move to The Tales From The Pizzaplex to fill in the details. not every story is important we will only be going over GGY, The Storyteller, The Mimic, and The Epilogues. I’d also like to bring up the last book/2 books have not yet released and wont before Ruins release.
Tumblr media
GGY shows us the answer to a mystery in Security Breach. Who was being spoken to in the Therapy tapes 4672 to 4679 Tapes that started with 71 were directed towards Vanessa as you can hear her in them. Those which started with 46 had no known patent until this story. Gregory is shown to have been at least at some point possessed by the anomaly and would hack into the pizzaplex systems to play games for free while also messing with the animatronics AI.
He wrote a poem at the end of the story about how GGY was a wizard’s favorite apprentice and how they were fighting against a corporates conspiracy  "the wizard's most favored apprentice" "an animatronic supervillain who went into battle with a tentacled monster."
Gregory’s four therapists are shown to be killed by his use of animatronics. What happened to cause him to become free from the anomaly is unknown.
Tumblr media
The Storyteller shows a young chairman of Fazbear entertainment named Mr. Burrows attempting to use AI to replace the writers for the stories around the Pizzaplex. An old business partner of the original fazbear owners Edwin Murray tries to stop Burrows and ends up seeing something he shouldn’t have.
Inside the large baobab tree used to house the new AI made to create stories holds a White Tiger head dubbed The Storyteller. This causes Edwin to have a panic attack for some unknown reason. The Storyteller caused the glamrock animatronics to act out like they do in the game. Chica is extreamly pushy, Monty is violent, and Roxanne is meaner then she should be.
Edwin attempts to stop this and gets into the tree after the Pizzaplex closes for the night. He sees The Storyteller is playing a program named Mimic_1 which freaks Edwin out again for no known reason. Mr, Burrows locks Edwin into the tree believing he was causing all of these glitches.
Edwin dies from asphyxiations and when the door is open inside shows cardboard that Edwin brought in covered in symbols and the words “I’m sorry”. The door closes behind Burrows locking him in too.
Tumblr media
The Mimic shows Edwin back when he was young, He created the costumes for the Fazbear Animatronics and lived with his son David. Due to his wives passing he had to work with his young son around. So to keep him company, he created an endo with a new type of AI made to mimic what it sees.
The Endo would learn from David and started to act like him. David had a small white tiger plush with a blue and green eye which he held close to his chest. The Endo would also hold his arm close to his chest to mimic David. Edwin would build the Endo his own plush tiger.
One day David ran into the street and was hit by a car. Edwin watching the impact unable to save him. The Endo turns into a mockery of his son to Edwin and so he smashes it. Over and over until it was smashed. Filled with Pain and Hate.
years later it reawakened now knowing that pain and hate and mimicked it. It killed anyone it saw and would use the costumes Edwin made to hide and trick it’s prey.
Tumblr media
The epilogue expanded the Pizza Place under the Pizzaplex. Somehow The Mimic was sent down to the Pizza Place with a bunch of endos meant to help a clean up team get rid of the wreckage. It is reprogramed to tear the heads and arms off the broken down endos that were destroyed in the fire but once it ran out of endos it began doing so to the workers. Once the Pizza Place is sealed off, 8 teens make their way there after hearing rumors of it’s existence before getting trapped down there alone with The Animatronic. The Mimic possesses a broken frame of rabbit ears but no other factors to match it to The Springtrap at the end of Security Breach. At least not yet. Through the epilogues it kills the teens one by one using random costumes all around the Pizza Place as disguises. Eventually it begins learning how to speak by listening in on the teens thinking of plans on how to get out. Then there is the newest epilogue from Tiger Rock. The Mimic kills one of the girls and wears her as a suit to try and get her friends attention. At this point missing only the Springtrap suit he wore in Security Breaches ending. Even when you beat it in the final cutscene you may notice it’s arm curl in close to it’s body like it would to hold it’s tiger plushy.
Tumblr media
In conclusions the antagonist of these stories, The Anomaly is a learning AI that due to the death surrounding Freddy’s has learned to become a killer. It continues to learn from every interaction it has and with every Fazbear Entertainment Story it grows more into an unstoppable force spread across more then just it’s body.

What are your thoughts on HW2? You and I both agree on the theory that Cassie's dad is the protagonist for Help Wanted 2 and there's evidence to back this up. First of all, we are a technician, and second of all, according to Carnie in Fazerblast we "look like we have a little one". That brings us to the ending of the game. Wtf happened? We were jumped by a bunch of staff spots and then we became a mapbot maskbot and then we gave Cassie a mask? Also, that means that the V.A.N.N.I mask was not Vanny's mask, but her dad's. You do get the pop-up once you put on the V.A.N.N.I mask that it belongs to a class V technician, so explains why and how Vanny's mask is different from this one (also it explains why Vanny's mask was left in Fazerblast but was for some reason in Monty Golf). So like, what? Why did we have the Vanny mask and why was the real world in the ruins? Like, since this game is like a prequel, why was her dad in the ruins of the PizzaPlex? And at FNaF 6 of all locations!? What's with the mimic figures we collect? What's with the weird masked plushies that we collect? What's with the Princess Quest ending and the steps required to beat it? Heck, now there's a Princess Quest 4!? What's up with Candy Cadet's story? Why is it related to Vanessa, Gregory, and Cassie at the same time? Why does his story seem like GGY and Vanny are back!? Why was GGY an actual achievement? At least we now know that GGY is canon to the games? What's with the "Remember Jeremy" achievement? What's with the deleted dialogue in the game files!? So many questions...
Still working through my thoughts on things, but for some of my thoughts, I'm still leaning towards Cassie's dad being the protag, I figured Vanny wasn't the only one to be associated with the VANNI mask so I'm not really surprised, in Ruin there's evidence of a technician of some sort having been in the building so that checks out, I think the GGY achievement is just a reference to how GGY had the high scores on all the games in SB (as that's how you get it in HW2), and the remember Jeremy dialogue is interesting given he was the first Glitchtrap victim.
I am very much looking forward to dissecting the Candy Cadet story :)

I haven't seen anyone else talking about this yet, so I'm sharing a little lore bit I found on a wall outside the Glamrock Salon during my last Ruin livestream. I was doing a Bonnie% run (basically the wet floor bot glitch forced me to restart the game from scratch and speedwalk my way through deactivating all the bots in one go askjdnbajkf) and when I got to the end of the Salon section of the game, I happened to look up with the Vanny mask on and found this on the wall by the bathrooms, right before you loop through the Salon again to get into the Foxy flume ride:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Gone for a while. Money for food on counter. Emergency contacts on fridge."
Now, this is a level that is very Cassie-focused from the get-go. We already know Roxy is Cassie's favorite, and as the level progresses we are treated to peeks into Cassie's backstory prior to the events of the game. We see her getting her makeup done with Roxy, we see the sad aftermath of her failed birthday, we see Gregory comforting her afterward, and we then see the Missing posters with Gregory's face on them. So we can only assume this sticky note is also specifically related to Cassie's story.
We don't know much about Cassie's dad, but the game does go out of its way to mention him on multiple occasions. We know he is/was an employee at the Pizzaplex. We know he was a technician of some kind. He has a Fazwrench, he "never told Cassie what happened to Bonnie" (implying he would have known that insider information), and we also see mention of Cassie enjoying the Foxy flume ride despite the fact that it closed before it was ever open to the public.
(Granted, that last one is up for debate, because half of it was a flavor text at the bottom of the pause menu, which isn't always reliable as Cassie voice. I also can't really see someone allowing a child to be a ride tester when said ride was later closed before its open due to "safety concerns"...but then again, this is Fazbear Entertainment.)
We know Bonnie is her dad's favorite, and we know he collected the lunchboxes from the old show, meaning he's been a Fazbear fan for years.
(I also love the theory implying that Cassie's dad could be one of Michael Afton's old friends we see in the FNaF 4 crying child cutscenes, because he has the same hair, skin tone, and shirt color as Cassie and is wearing a Bonnie mask to boot...but that's not a theory for this post.)
But the one thing I always wondered was, if Cassie does have a dad back home who cares about her, then why wouldn't she ask for his help in saving Gregory? Or at the very least, why would he have just let her sneak off by herself in the middle of the day when she can't be more then 10-12 year old at best? And then I found this note...
"Gone for a while. Money for food on counter. Emergency contacts on fridge."
I think Dad isn't home right now. I think he's been gone "for a while" and Cassie has been alone. It's possible that this mystery, where he's gone, is attached to the Pizzaplex too, or at least Fazbear Ent., because this franchise never has disconnected characters be mentioned in passing so pointedly like this without it being secretly significant. Though there's not much of a foundation to build a theory on for that one just yet.
But the note and its implications ALSO echo the story that Candy Cadet tells us in the basement of the 'Plex. A single parent and their child live together in their home while a monster is locked away in a basement. The parent leaves the kid home, the monster lures said kid to the basement by mimicking a familiar voice, and then the kid unlocks the door and sets it free. It's not 1-for-1 because obviously it's not Cassie's dad that the monster at the Pizzaplex chose to mimic, but it's a definite parallel that can't be ignored.
I can't help but wonder where Steel Wool plans to go with this in the next installment, since the cliffhanger they left us on can only mean that the story isn't over yet. It's like they say...it always comes back.
[Reblog edit with additional theorizing about Cassie’s dad can be found HERE]

Security Breach Ruin Trailer Analysis & Theory
Alright I have a lot to say about the new trailer. You can watch it here
I was never on board with the FNAF "Gregory is a robot" Theory... Until this very trailer when they revealed the girl's name is Cassie. Now, this Could just be a poetic parallel to previous characters and events, but given the current WACKY state of fnaf lore I just can't brush it off as that for my own peace of mind. Theory under the read more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For those who don't know, Cassidy (also known as Cass and Cassie) was one of the murder victims and specifically, the ghost of Golden Freddy. She also is the vengeful character who stayed behind to torture Afton in Custom Night. She is also known as The One You Should Not Have Killed. (I also read online she possesses golden freddy together with crying child but let's put a pin in that 📍)
Tumblr media
There is also another lesser known Cassidy character in FNAF. The princess from princess quest.
Tumblr media
Which I think is Really interesting. Both have a yellow theme and BOTH are dead-set on destroying Afton (Golden Freddy fighting the Real Deal and the Princess fighting digital pixel art Aftons). But how does that relate to OUR Cassie? Well take a look at the SB Ruin poster.
Tumblr media
It's Cassie standing in front of a Broken Down Golden Freddy Statue. It's beautiful symbolism that's been right in front of our eyes the entire time, and we never saw it! If THIS Cassie has any link to the previous ones, this is her confronting her past and future. She's going on her own princess quest... And given how we see Vanny's mask and Bonnie in the trailer, I don't think she's going to be JUST saving Gregory. She's going to confront Another facet of whatever is left of Afton.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
📍Now another interesting thing about Golden Freddy possibly having been co-possessed by crying child, is Gregory's resemblance to the character.
Tumblr media
Not exactly uncanny, but the similarities are enough to warrant theories! If these two characters were familiar with each other in a past iteration, it's QUITE the funny coincidence they're familiar with each other NOW.
Which leads to me, unfortunately, needing to humour the robot theory.
If these two are indeed the same characters from the past, they are... most likely... robots. I don't know WHO is making these robots, probably someone who's familiar with the past and Afton. And also someone who's daft enough to through these lengths to wipe the Spaghetti Stain that is Afton off the face of the earth. Because let's be honest, the cops wouldn't know what to do with a man who's both a computer virus AND zombie either 💀
I just cannot grasp another reason for these characters to exist AGAIN as children after being violently murdered in the 80's. And with how CRAZY the FNAF lore is and how important all introduced characters are, I doubt these children are anything but a coincidence/cheeky parallel. Their presence holds a weight in the narrative... whatever that narrative is at this point.
Unrelated, but I also suspect Gregory to be under Afton's influence in this DLC. He sounds a Lot like he's trying to lure her in deeper, on purpose. Saying stuff like "Save me", "I don't have time to explain how I got here but you've GOT to help me out" and "don't give up on me yet"... They just feel very odd things to say to a friend who you reached out to to rescue you. I don't trust it.

Slight fnaf ruin spoilers
Here's a little something I noticed while watching gameplay of the Ruin DLC:
Tumblr media
Notice how Roxy's eyes are missing from the neon sign.
Now, this is with the Vanny mask on, and (I don't think I need to say it) it's common knowledge that he Vanny mask tends to... alter things. Without it, as far as I can tell, there isn't a sign there at all.
I don't have any theories surrounding this, I just thought it was a neat easter egg :)

Fnaf ruin theory/kinda just an idea -- wet floor signs!
Hello!! before you go any further, this will contain heavy spoilers for an easter egg in the fnaf ruin dlc!! be careful :3
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Okay hi, this is about what you have to do to unlock Bonnie's room in Bonnie bowl. Not the one you go though to get to fazerblast, the one with his body in it. The way you get in, if you're reading this despite the spoiler warning, is by deactivating a certian amount of the Wet floor sign bots with the Vanny mask on. (I think its 27?? dont hold me to that though)
Tumblr media
When you get the right amount, a Wet floor bot appears beside the far right bowling alley and the wall infront of the lanes opens up when you deactivate that one aswell. After walking through, you find this!
Tumblr media
Glam bonnie, surrounded by wet floor bots and totally destroyed. Nearly all of his limbs are disconnected and his legs are partially flattened, he's been hit over the head with a bowling ball, his endo's spine is literally broken and somethings clawed at his chest.
But when you walk up to him, his eyes are still glowing.
Tumblr media
He' still ALIVE, somehow. But he's fully immobile, and seemingly nobody has found him since even before security breach. he's been there for a LONG time.
But this post isn't about who did it or anything, it's about these guys.
Tumblr media
Because it feels like such a random thing to make the requirements for the Easter egg, right? Just these little floor guys that have done you no wrong ever. But it kinda changes perspective when you realise you can deactivate the bots surrounding his body.
And when you do that?
Tumblr media
His eyes go out.
Which seems to imply he has some sort of special connection to the wet floor sign bots? And that seems confusing too, because how would he have a connection to them if he can't even move??
But then, think back to how you deactivate them. Through the Vanny mask. So, through the AR 'world'. MAYBE, through fnaf logic, he could communicate through some sort of signal but it was only being picked up by those bots.
If you consider the fact also that his glowing eyes are the same colour as the glowing eyes of the floor bots?? It could totally mean he's seeing through them somehow. (I know I keep saying somehow but it's because this is mostly an idea and less of a theory because I don't actually know HOW to connect it but I know that it feels like that could be what's happening here.)
If you think I'm insane I totally get that but it's sooo suspicious and also it gives me fuel for Sad Bonnie Stuff. :3 have a nice day I hope this was atleast a fun read

ok ok hai chip!!!! everyone in your inbox is talking about the jeremy and cassies dad thing so now im adding onto it teehee. smiles ^_^
(also side note HOW DO YOU GET SO MANY ASKS ABOUT THE LORE LMAOOO. have people dubbed you the fnaf god)
there is a theory from id's fantasy (i believe) that since jeremy was one of glitchtrap's victims, he TOO had the vanny mask. somehow the vanny mask got stuck to his face (like how it gets stuck on you in ruin) and the scene that tape girl describes was jeremy cutting the VANNY MASK off. tape girl describes it as a halloween mask, and since we find the vanny mask in the dreadbear dlc, she isn't too far off
but like you said, idk how jeremy would just get off scot free and get re-hired by the pizzaplex??? fazbear was just about to fire him anyway soooo... did they end up doing that??? did he go into hiding??
theres a lot of plot holes in it but like. its a theory. its something
HIIII VANNY!! ^^
LMAO I just talk about it a lot and like discussing with people about it<3
Okay that makes a biiiiiit of sense? But then what's the ink? I know there's the theory of it being agony but why would there just be. Agony spilling out of him
Also what would the incident that makes Tape Girl so uncomfortable be? Why would she mention her fear of slicing a finger on the guillotine paper slicer seeming silly if all he did was cut off a mask? If he's just cutting off a "Halloween mask" I don't think it'd be as big of a deal to her as it is. And when regarding the lawsuit/what happened, she acts like something tragic happened that she refuses to say outright, so much so that at one point she ends the tape cause she gets so uncomfortable.
Like it's a fine theory, but it doesn't make sense to me with how Tape Girl acts about the incident- cause to an outsider (and to a court) wouldn't it just look like he spilled ink on himself and had a weird mask in the room lmao? There's nothing really "tragic" here that'd make TG act the way she does imo
but like you said, idk how jeremy would just get off scot free and get re-hired by the pizzaplex??? fazbear was just about to fire him anyway soooo... did they end up doing that??? did he go into hiding??
I'm pretty sure he was working for Silver Parasol Games, not Fazbear Entertainment- Faz Ent just outsourced Help Wanted to SPG and gave them the circuit boards that got scanned into the game and created Glitchtrap. But regardless, he still caused a huge issue for everyone- the game was almost canned according to Tape Girl, with her assuming it was because of the lawsuits. Whether it be him or his family, after whatever happened to Jeremy happened, he sued SPG and possibly Fazbear Entertainment because of their direct involvement in Glitchtraps existence, and for a game meant to cover up the events of the past, he sure made quite the "event" out of whatever happened to him. He's just caused too much trouble for Faz Ent for me to believe they'd hire him- I'd sooner believe they'd hire a hitman on him or send killer animatronics to his house LMAO

FNAF hypothesis (not a theory cuz no research):
FNAF Help Wanted 2 spoilers/discussion warning
SpareTheDreamer high fatigue warning (brain go brrr?)
You know how in FNAF Security Breach: Ruin, mxes is revealed to not be your enemy/Afton/Glitchtrap but a security program? What if Moon is sort of the same? The only people he goes after are those influenced by Glitchtrap: Gregory, Cassy after getting the mask, and the main character of FNAF Help Wanted 2, who is most likely affected by their mask and stuff (especially supported by the claw machine ending where Glitchtrap is taken from you and smooshed).
So what if Moon isn't just 'evil plurality alter' trope, and actually can detect and is tasked to try to destroy Glitchtrap? He's always going on about naptime and how it's past your bedtime and how naughty you are, but what if he's talking to Glitchtrap? Afton's supposed to be gone. He needs to stop and "go to sleep". He's naughty for being there and taking over people.
At the end of Help Wanted 2, it's Moon that takes your Glitchtrap plushie to be destroyed by Vanny. He ends with one last "naughty, naughty", potentially directed at Glitchtrap. He doesn't hurt you. He's merely being directed by Vanny who wants to get rid of Glitchtrap.
There is SO much emphasis on Moon in HW2. Surely there has to be a reason for that. Maybe this is what Steel Wool/Scott are trying to tell us.
Feel free to take this and run with it if it seems likely. It needs more contemplation, research, and polish. Alas, I don't have the ability to do that due to my ME/CFS.
We need to think more about Moon. And probably Sun. And Eclipse. Here's hoping for a nuanced system for some actually good plurality representation. We really hope they do something good with this opportunity.

Here's a post I've been drafting for a while!
So I was chatting with my brother about Ruin, explaining certain lore bits to him.
And he's not digging what they're doing with the Mimic, because he chooses not to read the other FNAF books and it doesn't make sense to put the next main villain in a book that's optional to read.
And I've been seeing similar thoughts while scrolling through the FNAF tag here
So I thought I'd share a theory me and my brother came up with one night that doesn't require the books!
Is this canon? Probably not? But it's more satisfying to me and my brother and maybe you'll like it more
Ok, so we're operating under the Princess Quest ending, meaning that Burntrap wasn't canon.
And we saw Glamrock Bonnie's body, so that also dispels the mini theory that Vanny had Bonnie destroyed to make Afton's new body.
So let's be hypothetical here and say Mimic doesn't exist.
So Afton's body has been mutilated and set on fire twice by this point. It wouldn't be too illogical to assume that the body at least was completely destroyed.
But Glitchtrap is a digital entity, given life through his scanned circuit boards.
What if since Vanessa got freed, he couldn't make a new full suit for himself and was limited to just an endoskeleton.
Plus, Glitchtrap is a digital entity, so it makes sense that he could pull recordings of Gregory's voice and mimic them.
Plus it would explain how the endoskeleton had some power over the V.A.N.N.I network, enough to jam it's signal.
I'm supposing that Glitchtrap, using his technical prowess, created the V.A.N.N.I network to have control over the Pizzaplex.
But since Gregory freed Vanessa, she created M.X.E.S and used the same network to lock Glitchtrap underground.
(That's why it was hovering over the Princess Quest arcade cabinet)
It also gives an explanation for our ending that doesn't involve Gregory betraying Cassie.
Glitchtrap might have lost control over Vanessa, but it wasn't confirmed he was washed out of the system.
He could have hacked the elevator and mimicked Gregory's voice to make Cassie think her friend left her for dead, and since Cassie has had plenty of face time with the Vanny mask, he could be trying to turn Cassie against Gregory, and into his new minion.
Is this canon? Probably not.
I just thought it would be cool to share it with folks who weren't satisfied with the books and the canon.
Heck, I kinda like this more than the canon, and I like the books being somewhat canon.

need to know when exactly hw2 is taking place so that i can work it into my headcanons cause right now its just not fitting at all. a lot of "..unless?" but i wont know until i get the timeline (more under cut i guess. spoiler territory ahead 🚨🚨)
also i had 6 hours of copium for my sleeptime. if youre a hater just take this as if i was pulling this out of my ass, unless you agree, in which case youre welcome to comment or. nod in agreement.
so how does this help wanted economy affect the fazcoin?
but no for real now. to preface im very forgetful when it comes to fnaf lore and i sometimes miss some plot points and many times they affect my headcanons (once i remember them) but i cant check everything. im just forming my own little timeline with my own ideas i guess, but i still want it to be canon adjacent So!
i believed that its taking place post SB, pre Ruin. which i was super happy with as i was worried it would be pre-SB and not give enough lore that i crave. however, just as ive seen some people say, this didnt help with the lore much, and it just got more confusing for me. still a fantastic game but from a lore point it doesnt give us anything too big or a conclusion (well. maybe one) i also saw people say its post ruin, which i dont agree with but i would agree with during ruin. (when ppl say cassie is the player, i dont think so, need more arguments) its unclear once people bring in other arguments than the obvious roxy's mask or the state of the pizzaplex. but basically as an afton believer its hard for me to work around this, but i will try. never back down never what?
so my hc is iykyk, scraptrap->man in the room->ghost/amalgamation->latching onto tech and the mimic in the form of glitch and burntrap->mimic "shedding" him->wills ghost forming mxes; it also works without the frights books but the afton amalgamation and everything around it is too cool to not use. i fucking love ruinborn afton graaaaah *tears shirt apart* i also liked the idea of his spirit shattering and a piece of it forming glitchtrap for years, and i believe it can coexist with mimic, i think burntrap was real and is both mimic and afton.
now. this game. really messing it up for me as glitchtrap existing post or during burntrap just doesnt make sense, i dont want -trap multiples or something (sounds like the years old 2-3 purple guys theory lmao) but i will look into it as glitchtrap and mxes connection..? honestly, i really expected getting to see burntrap here (or at least mimic shown). was burntrap like retconned or something for real??? also still dont understand when people say burntrap isnt the mimic or whatever. no, it is, just with something a little extra on. and that extra is again, wills ghost or remnant or whatever you wanna call it, symbolized by the bonnie parts on his endo, but theres also flesh so yeah, as funny as it sounds i fuck with the afton homunculus growing over mimic theory. its stupid enough, he would do it.
but i wanna focus on mxes, i knew we wouldnt see the entity in the game, didnt expect it. but i also didnt expect the system to show up, which it did, but obviously not the entity yet as i believe they were formed only after burntrap has been "scooped" by tangle (comparing the scooper mimic ending and the burntrap one as a parallel) i just dont understand how glitchtrap is in here. thats the thing i cant figure out! this is 100% post SB so at that point glitchtrap is just gone. how did we get him back now? only ends up with me reaching with like MEGA SPOILERS the vanny ending crushing glitchtrap being a metaphor of her locking away or deleting the code. extreme reaching would be stuffing it into the mxes system where glitch would turn into the entity. but thats way too loose, but ive seen many people call the mxes entity glitchtrap, which doesnt even work with their theory that glitchtrap is mimic, because the entity is obviously not the mimic. like you have to consider this too, not just mimicmimicmimic but then agree that a glitchy rabbit is similar to another glitchy rabbit
lost my thread of thought. and thought of how this all is just, an end to glitchtrap era and only mimic in the future. well.. without an evil rabbit, fnaf will lose its charm for me, i dont know if vanny!cassie would save it for me, i only want wiwi. more wiwi, no mimi *starts glowing red and then explodes* anyway its not that bad. as long as i get to see the mxes entity again i will be good. and as long as im right about the clickteam game, i will be happy :D
also im intrigued by the fallfest showing up again, i really want to see how the maps look and look at all the details.. but in general the area is either underneath or next to the pizzaplex, the body of water in curse of dreadbear imo is the same as the underground water in ruin and hw2 to me confirmed that it truly is all in one place (goes nowhere with this). i love how the hw2 hub is in the pizzasim building. also, another thing, need to check it out again but i want to see if scrap baby is in a vr level or reality so i can theorize about scraptrap, as in, if at least tangle and scrap baby are still around and real in the plex, it would make sense for scraptrap to not show up because he has gone through digitization /j you know the whole pipeline. and so on and so forth
anyway im gonna pet my dogs and maybe read tse and then get back to hw2 in the afternoon. just getting this out of the system and my brain

So the Fnaf movie in October and Ruins DLC coming out in July, FNAF fans are just getting spoiled this year, Huh?
So many theories are already popping up with the gam such as the possibility that the Gregory we hear in game might just be a trap to a possible glamrock Bonnie appearance.
We also see Cassie with a vanny mask that lets us see kinda like with Roxy’s eyes, but I wonder is either Chica will be a Freddy like character to Cassie or perhaps Cassie will have a limited ability to control the animatronics temporarily.

Security Breach Ruin my observations and theories
Trailer is out, we getting the game soon, and one of the things I enjoyed the most when FNAF was a new series, back with the first game, one of my favorite things was to make theories and try to figure out what would happen, tho I only ever posted a theory about FNAF 3.
I don’t know how many games will there be in the future, so I will allow myself to indulge into writing and sharing things that caught my attention just for the sake of having fun.
I wrote everything under the cut and it’s honestly a bit disorganized, and also feel free to add or comment if you wanna join the theorizing, just remember to keep it respectful and we all here just to have fun!
The Pizzaplex has been abandoned for a while, there's graffiti, newspaper all over the main window. It either follows a different ending than the ones shown on SB or it didn't fully burnt down in the true ending. Whichever it is, it looks like a lot of time has passed, so there is no way Gregory has been in there for so long, so he has been sneaking in regularly and for some reason got trapped the last time, or that is not Gregory...
There is lot's of "Do not cross" yellow tape on the Daycare I don't remember from the main game, plus lots of graffity with the yellow one being oddly redable compared to the rest, "Close Forever" (I thought it was Closed Forever but there is no D).
Chica seems to be the one in better state. Monty is nightmare material.
Cassie. I mean the obvious one is her name, it’s gotta be either short for Cassidy or a reference to that name. I don’t know why tho, since I don’t really believe the “Gregory is Evan robot”. But following that train of thought, Evan and Cassidy shared the body of Golden Freddy, maybe somehow they got both revived into robot bodies and now are siblings of some sort (again far fetched theory, I don’t really like it, just putting it out there, plus we would have to go into the whole, Evan soul left finally after the events in FNAF 3, while Cassidy stayed and then fast forward to trapping Afton soul into Custom Night which then makes it into Glitchtrap etc.).
I do theorize Cassie is Gregory younger sister, and somehow Gregory communicated with her and she went to the pizzaplex to save him. She seems to have brown hair now even if in the poster she seemed to have blond hair, but even if not siblings, they know each other and are probably close.
This also follows my theory that Gregory is not an orphan, I still believe he is more of a runaway rebel kid, maybe looking for a missing friend and that’s how he got to the pizza plex.
Tumblr media
Excuse me but WHY does he has teeth bellow the mask teeth??? Aside that questionable design choice, I’m gona say what we all probably thinking that this is both Sun and Moon at the same time. I don’t personally think it will be a third personality, but more of both of them constantly fighting for control, switching between one and the other.
I am also not 100% certain, they seem to be by the Daycare big doors. I do hope they chase you in other areas, but it’s a possibility they still can’t/won’t leave the Daycare.
Tumblr media
Freddy? This is the only bot I couldn’t recognize. It is Freddy shaped and got the leg warmers like things, but the colors are more golden and purple... which could be just the lights but it makes me think so much of Golden Freddy. It’s probably to be a bit of a surprise since the teaser cuts before we see their face.
Tumblr media
I missed this the first times I watched the trailer, but that is Vanny mask, we will be able to use Vanny mask as an item in the DLC.
Tumblr media
This is how it looks from the inside.
Tumblr media
And this how it looks like when wearing, maybe highlighting important places or some sort of technology.
Tumblr media
My first assumption was that this was another variation of Springtrap, since he likes to change every single game, but the shape is more cartoony, it reminds me more of Vanny mask and costume, which makes sense to be shown after Cassie puts the mask on. A mix of both maybe? Or mroe of a representation of the corruption of Glitchtrap on someone/something.
But overall, I am just happy to see it got a darker atmosphere and feels scarier.
