I want to make friends with some of my co workers but i’m way too shy lol

any tips of how u made your friends or how u talk to ur coworkers

the coworkers I'm closest to are the ones I wound up working shifts with when the store wasn't busy - we'd wind up chatting and bonding as a result. the best advice I can give is to start conversations! Got a favourite tv show? Ask if they watch it at all because x happened in the last episode you watched and you can't stop thinking about it! Compliment the necklace they wear every day or their tattoo or their new haircut, ask them about it! Ask about their hobbies!

I'm introverted by nature but it feels even more awkward just standing there not talking when things are quiet. You've got to just bite the bullet and ask the first question sometimes, because it's often worth it - even if you don't make a best friend, you'll probably learn something new about someone!

ps i hate my job in fast food :(

I work two jobs at the moment! My main job (more hours) is as a personal shopper for a supermarket (picking the groceries for online orders), my anecdotes about it can be found under the tag 'the (mis)adventures of a personal shopper'. My other job (the fun one/my passion) is as a teacher at a Musical Theatre class for kids ages 3-18! Anecdotes about that job are under the tag 'the adventures of a musical theatre teacher'.

I moan about retail a lot, but honestly, I do really like my job because I like my coworkers. I met three of my best friends through that job (all coworkers), and it's how I reconnected with the guy who is now my boyfriend because we bumped into each other when he came into the store looking for tattoo aftercare stuff. My teaching job is one of the highlights of my week, my students are mostly the best, and it means I get to do the thing I love without worrying about job stability.

I hope one day soon you find a job that isn't miserable - one that even if it's not your passion, gives you the support to pursue your passions elsewhere!!

I'm really not much of a gamer sksksksks I mainly play Sims 3 on PC and LEGO games on the Nintendo Wii. I tried playing GTA5 on PlayStation at my boyfriend's friend's house one time and within two minutes I had driven the most expensive car in the game straight into the ocean.
