Even lobotomized grox will grow restless in his presence. No animal is immune to the aura of fear he radiates.

The effect is especially pronounced in psychic species like much of Prospero's wildlife who'll sometimes attack him on sight. It's like they can sense that there's something fundamentally wrong about him. Because there is. Because he very much isn't human and they know it. He's something ancient and predatory that the Emperor shoved into a meatsuit.

The only species that'll tolerate him are bats who see him as a particularly cantankerous giant bat. He doesn't appreciate their attempts to groom his unkempt hair.

following the theory that dany can get pregnant again after ADWD, i hate when people say she'd name any potential baby after viserys or rhaegar when she's already done that. the dragons are her children in every sense of that word to her. she doesn't have to homenage them because she already has. if anything, a name she'd go for is jaeherys or aegon for boys, gael for a girl, who knows?

yes milou is a little shit and one of the most selfish people you'll ever meet, but hear me out.

it's a very long way to get her to trust you and vice versa — even if you think you're there, you're still a long way off. but once she trust you — especially if she loves you — milou is so loyal and committed that it borders on devotion.

she'll still be the selfish little shit that she is, but she'll actually let you see her. milou's quite laid back in general, but her trusted friends and loved ones get to see a glimpse behind the walls and how she's relaxed and able to wind down. they get to see her on the rare occurrence where her walls are down and she'll talk to you with genuine emotion and empathy, not the shallow words everyone else gets to hear. though needless to say, there won't be any of that if you don't reciprocate. and with that i mean it will most likely be you taking the first step in being vulnerable. she's very particular about having her relationships be built on a bond of trust.

as for a lover? milou's very much the kind of person that mates for life, for lack of a better term. i'm not trying to say that she'll only ever date a single person in her entire life, but there'll only be one ( maybe two, depending on how/why the first ended ) romantic connection she'll allow herself to deeply commit to and trust her s/o unconditionally. it's just because the process of even getting to that point is so difficult, that she can't bring herself to go through that again — especially if the reason of the relationship ending involves her getting betrayed in any way.

ok but now getting to the point that i actually wanted to talk about .... my guy (gender neutral) if you get milou as a s/o, you fuckin W O N. unless you don't want your beloved to kill for you if the occassion arises.... then tough luck, you gotta deal with it. for milou, her s/o is the only person ever.

it depends on the individual dynamics and what their boundaries are, but she's pretty damn flexible with how she shows you her love. whether it be singing praises about her s/o high and low, or simply quietly letting them know that she's here and cares for them — she'll find a way to make them feel truly special and loved. it's something she'd always lacked in her life in general to the point where she doesn't realise just how much she craves to simply be loved, but she'd be damned if her lover feels neglected in the slightest way.

she's very good at figuring people out, knowing their boundaries, what they need, want, like, miss or whatever. most of the time she simply disregards it, as she doesn't care. but in return, all of that energy simply gets poured into her efforts towards her lover, almost making it seem like she could read their mind.

though on the flipside, like i said, she also tends to neglect or straight up ignore her own wants and needs. yes she may be a little shit, and yes she wholeheartedly believes that she doesn't deserve to be loved just like she loves — but all of you, your muse and me know better than that ...

jay LOVES animals, all kinds of animals, and in turn, animals love him and are very naturally inclined to bond with him. even animals where the owner would normally say "oh he/she doesn't like strangers" they still flock to him just because of his innate patience with respecting their boundaries.

how does antoine view basile now versus how he felt about him before their escape from fontaine ?

basile is still his brother, to antoine that will never change. but he's learnt to see and accept basiles flaws rather than push then away; he no longer sees the need to make basile this perfect individual so he can excuse latching onto him and being dependent on his intellect. he's kinda iffed about them no longer travelling together but he understands basiles need to redeem himself and his family name - plus it's helped him grow since then; he can now proudly say he is less intimidated of social interaction and he's even learnt how to talk fluently and eloquently without basile whispering words in his ears.

ultimately in a way the entire drama has definitely strengthened their bond in the sense that they can now be away from each other without feeling empty - antoine moreso than basile, especially now that he has his memories back.

do many people find vincent intimadting ?

some people find him intimidating but most people simply find him off-putting; his scars and stature are one thing but his entire wannabe-celebrity status he didn't even ask for just kind of makes people find him strange, rather than scaring them in any sense. when he's angry? almost everyone fears him because he gets angry so rarely it is terrifying, but other than that he's less intimidating to people and more just ... leaving a bitter taste in their mouth

does he have a fan club ?

he does and he HATES HATES HATES it. he doesn't want to be idolized for what he does; he wants to help people. is he glad his fanclub(s) make donations in his name or run funds to help? yes. does he hate the fact they idolize him for something that, in his eyes, should be completely normal? also yes.

how does basile view teyvat ?

to basile teyvat has long stopped being the home he wishes to save. now it is simply the place where the people he wants to protect live in. it's kind of weird in the way he switched from being willing to sacrifice people to save teyvat to how he is now willing to sacrifice teyvat to save the people dear to him.

does antoine give off golden retriever energy ?

to people that know him he does, probably. but i like to think he gives off great dane energy more; huge and kind of clums with his size but also thinks he can hide behind people. also dorky. and fiercely protective and loyal. and friendly.

( HEADCANON. ) there's a very specific quality to zhilan's voice that i hear when i write his dialogue. it's soft-spoken and articulate; you can hear his education when he speaks, though not to the degree that one would struggle to converse. likewise, you can hear when he smiles, as it bubbles his words with gentle-natured excitement. he tends to speak faster than his typical modest pace when something piques his interest, making him longwinded at times, though certainly well meaning. as for sound, i think kinsen's voice is pretty close to his general pitch. but it's worth noting that this cover of kowloon retro is also really close (not necessarily in singing talent gdjgf, just as a frame of reference for sound)

Fanon is stupid as hell, especially the Curze soulstone theory. Most youtube lore content creators are total hacks who should be writing fanfics instead of trying to pass their tinfoil hat theories as canon. There, I've said it.

At most, there's a very weak psychic imprint of him attached to the Corona Nox from continuous use. It's a regular old crown made with psychically resonant gems he looted off the old Nostrman aristocracy. There's nothing special to it. Would it be useful for warp rituals? Sure but that could be said about any Primarch's artifacts. ( Or you could just use Konrad's finger bones as a bong... which is an actual thing that happened. The EC are a bunch of weirdos )

alcohol is just one of milou's biggest, if not THE coping mechanism for practically everything. she's well aware that it's not healthy but could give zero shits about it. she doesn't grow violent nor directly impacts other people around her — she really just wants to grow numb and for other people to mind their own business.

it doesn't concern them, so what gives them the right to dictate what she should and shouldn't do? usually, milou really does not care what others think about her, but this is different.

it takes a great amount of trust between her and another person to even hear them out and not grow hostile or outright lash out at them (both verbal and physical) if they try to intervene. weirdly enough though, her stoic demeanour persists if a complete stranger decides to comment on her habits. it's only when there's at least some rapport between her and the person in question that she grows increasingly hostile.

the sheer audacity that you think you're entitled to broach the topic of something that makes her feel so vulnerable — something that she thinks has become such an integral part of her by now.

out of cards: Since I've been reading the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga lately, I've been thinking of what I can see Resa and Esme's soul rooms look like and I think I finally came up with something that I like!

For Resa, her soul room would look like her old bedroom, but parts of it are destroyed (the supports to her canopy bed, the headboard) and the covers are also torn to shreds. On the bed, there's the blood from her dead fiance, Robert Stevens, that stains those sheets. In a corner of the room, there's a portrait of her mother and father with her father's face torn to shreds and his side of the portrait blacked out. As for her mother, there are question marks along with the words, "DIDN'T YOU LOVE ME, MOTHER?" scrawled on top of it.

There's also a table set up with the trophies she's won from her various tournaments along with pictures of her with said trophies, but the area itself is dusty and has several cobwebs strewn about.

However, there is a glimmer of hope that contains the memories she has with Ryou as well as the small figurine she received from him that's untarnished and in rather pristine condition.

As for Esme? Since she doesn't remember much of her life as the Queen of Thieves, her room is rather vast and has a horribly empty feeling to it. There's the sound of a crow's caws in the distance, but beyond that, it's rather barren save for a few mementos given to her by Yami Bakura. It's very easy to get lost in here once the door closes, too, since it's a pit of darkness and the only sounds one will hear are the crow's calls and their own thoughts. That, and there's quite the chaotic energy that swirls around, too, almost as if that same chaos is a part of this alter.

Down the hallway, there's locked rooms to other alters that Resa has and they're the only ones who have the keys to unlock their individual rooms.
