HFV:O IS DONE!!! All that's left is setting up alt text for Ren'Py's self-voicing accessibility feature, uploading the OST, and setting up the game's itch.io page. I'm super excited about it!!
Re-designed text boxes (and UI!) Finished all the backgrounds! Finished all the music! Now, all that's left is to finish the CGs...er, there are over 160 in total, so it'll take a little while...BUT!!
Sprites of teenage PoolPark that I'm likely not going to be using just yet, as the scene they were made for got cut (to be used later on instead of in HFV:O.) I specify "teenage" because "tweenage" PoolPark has sprites that WILL be used, in the bonus story.
I'll have to add the pockets on his coat to the teenage sprites whenever I finally end up using them. I didn't think to add them before.
Adding in a bunch of percussion-only tracks where I originally was going to have silence, mainly for moments of reflection/retrospection. I like how this is turning out a lot. I think it also makes any places in which I do choose to incorporate true silence more impactful, since prolonged moments of true silence are now much rarer.
Placeholder sketches. I need to get back on my posting schedule!
Anyway, the game is about 60% done now. Anticipating being able to release it before the end of April...Even though it's not a whole lot longer than Bloodshreddrzz (just above 20k words compared to Bloodshreddrzz's 17k,) there are a LOT more cutscene graphics for me to draw (almost double the amount present in Bloodshreddrzz!) and I plan on upgrading the sound design for better ambiance.
