idk why but i feel useless after today LOL

#logbook #keep thinking abt my shift. . .like that was all there was to it? idk. just did so much more at nnl. enjoyed that more too. #like i told c there was no p and there was no mv so i had to handle everything. i had no allies in management. #now im reorganizing plants in the greenhouse and getting nitpicked on what plants for clearance? idk man. #not saying i dont wsnt to work a day there bc i do miss everybody but still. you can tell c and i have diff approaches. #and that i have outgrown or just. been used to other things. like i took everything c and p and mv and s taught me and used that. #had to teach my team from scratch. bc thats what it was. my team. my tables. my displays. my decisions. my garden center. #and thafs what everybody joked too lol #idk. i probably just need food. but now im really anxious abt tmrw bc i will be miserable if i just. cant do shit anymore. #if i dont like it then i apply to jobs and quit early like i'd planned. bc im not going to be abused but im also not going to just. not do #good work lol. #its not like c was actually offended by me doing or saying things. she made a point to say she wouldnt be upsrt if i went for the full time #green team position at the store either. but yeah idk. i miss nnl. i really do. #i still havent told anybody abt it and i probably wont until next week. i want to swing by in person. #edit: tbc im just irritated with myself bc i didnt want to seem ungrateful or like i was stepping on c's toes. i come at this with the #intention of making rhe garden center better. but she's had more years on me and the store is overall diff. #i just dont want to be a difficult coworker but unfortunately my bar is high. and higher still from nnl lol. #fingers crossed it goes well with the new coworker and store tmrw. . . #honestly this is more stressful then walking into my old store 😭

Quick Thoughts on HSS: Class Act Ch. 10

- One thing before I go into my rambles, and the last post I’ll ‘make’ about this; the kids in this book are all minors so for those who keep missing or straight up ignoring that pretty significant detail... I’ve got your number. As for the other foolishness that’s cropped up, I refuse to let it ruin this book, my fun for Choices, or my experience on Tumblr. What’s wrong is wrong and that’s all I’ve got to say... now back to our regularly scheduled programming 

- Ajay is the group Dad of the group, you can’t convince me otherwise. Telling Rory to get off furniture in rehearsal? Making it very clear that Danielle needs to stay in her lane??? Ladies and gents no wonder he’s always at his wits end 😂

- I picked the option where Meghan snaps at Danielle (guess i’m saying her name again on here?) and I wasn’t disappointed... maybe my MC is done trying to be friendly with her all the time?? 

- Rory calling Meghan a badass for skating her butt to Morgan???? YES! My dorky girl is totally a badass. Also, screw you Morgan, I haven’t liked you since HSS book 2 when you were hall monitor. Go somewhere smh

- So who else thinks Cyptic Looks is a Hot Topic in disguise??? Yep, me too. 

- Michael and Maria’s friendship gives me life lol. My other MC isn’t dating either of them, but I always love cameos with the old gang in the new book. Also, full props to Maria for working at a store that ppl probably give her stares at and gossip behind her back. College ain’t cheap and I speak from experience. Go make that bread girl 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

- So I didn’t buy the goth outfit only because it’s not my style as a player and I don’t see myself picking it for my MC to wear on a regular basis when I can alternate outfits in-game

- Tracking down Skye at the event really was stress inducing, like baby girl, why you running??? Your friends are here!!! LET THEM LOVE YOU!!!! 😭💔

- Petition to get a diamond scene with Skye where she isn’t crying??? Thanks. Also, I’m pretty sure my game really does think I’m romancing her. I’ve given up searching for the ‘platonic’ answers and just pick the ones I think my MC would say (you can be affectionate with your bestie, so) 🤷🏾‍♀️

- Speaking of affectionate, I’ve been recently watching the new She Ra, and when Meghan and Rory were holding Skye’s hands as they walked through the club I’m pretty sure I died a little inside. Okay a lot. More. Soft. Guy and girl friendships. Please. It’s the thing I wanted and never knew I needed. 

- Any type of abuse on any level does a number on a person, so to see how strong Skye is in the midst of her shity circumstances is inspiring and heartbreaking. Like, she really thought no one would notice if she disappeared and I over here sobbing into my invisible pillow. But like the lead singer of the band said, and I forgot her name, forgive me: she’s gonna do great things one day and to hang in there, and honestly no truer words have been spoken. 

- Me?? stressed out by a easy going, cutesy book about a bunch of kids in high school?? More likely than you think. The gang taking Skye home??? I did NOT want her to leave that car, like I’m low key terrified of her parents acting uglier 😬

- Here’s to another great chapter in one of my favorite books, and here’s to Mondays that imo have been fun every since the HSSCA/ATV/D&D combo
