oooh i am a fanfic writer (ik, i'm really cool /s), and my favorite fic has got to be this zep fic i wrote (pas de deux) kiss me backstage, in part bc it's just really personal. i'd say my favorite line in it is "She stepped away, wanting to see how he’d react before going. He seemed a little shocked, but slowly, a smile played at the edge of his lips. She smiled and then ran for her life towards the wings, because Jesus, she was late." what can i say, i'm a romantic who spent their final show of dance running to and from the wings

what’s something you would like to create content for?

ooooh um... maybe the west wing or wednesday or the punisher. definitely would like to write something for jessica jones. maybe if i'm feeling daring, derry girls?

Writing: I’ve basically been writing my whole life, but I started in fandom when I was like 12 with OC x character fanfic (which turned out to be thinly-veiled self insert? a common staple of the FF.net era) and then gave up on it when I couldn’t stay interested ☠️ Re-emerged in fandom after I graduated HS with a 80k word character/character fic that needs about 10k words to the finish line…one of these days I’ll get around to finishing it 🙈 but truly that fic rekindled my love for writing and I’ll always be grateful to it and the entire fandom for making me a better writer 💜💜

And onto the present era…I’ve always been into the kind of stuff I write now (e.g. kink, dubcon, etc.), but I never really knew where to find it bc none of the fandoms I was into had people writing the stuff I wanted to read, until I discovered bnha x reader smut really randomly while I was browsing some kink tag in winter 2019.

Before that, I didn’t understand reader insert & honestly could never get into it, but after going down a rabbit hole of ‘x reader’ smut I was like, hmm, this do be kinda hot? So I watched BNHA, feverishly wrote Sidekick while I was alone for a few weeks over winter break, and thus this blog was made.

On the topic of s*x—I’m an extremely open & sex-positive person and I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by friends who feel the same. We go to kink clubs & lingerie parties together; we text each other pictures of our new sex toys; we have a book club where we read Foucault's History of Sexuality and talk about how sex, repression, and liberation have shaped our lives. Although they don’t know that I write smut about anime characters and post it online, my close friends are well aware that I write “erotica”, and all of them are encouraging and supportive.

— only five minutes ‘til midnight , and we just spotted SEBASTIAN TURNER , known for COVERING THE BED WITH ROSE PETALS , POPPING OPEN A NEW BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE , and SCRIBBLING LYRICS ON THE NEAREST AVAILABLE SURFACE , at club nouveau , ringing in the new year ! the TWENTY-THREE year old is usually known for their job as a M U S I C I A N , but tonight , they’re just another reveler in the crowd . when they wrote down their new year’s resolution , they wished TO BE MORE PROTECTIVE WITH HIS HEART and GET THE BAND BACK TOGETHER. funny enough , they had also mentioned how they hoped to forget about the time that REDACTED . for what it’s worth , i truly hope they can put the old year past them . [ jacob elordi , cis male , SEBASTIAN TURNER AND SAMUEL BROOKS SPOTTED TOGETHER. POTENTIAL REUNION ON THE HORIZON? ]

BIOGRAPHY:

from the very beginning, sebastian’s family dynamic was quite different from the others. his parents met on tv through a dating show in the 90s and were lucky enough to find something that lasted. social media and influencing wasn’t a thing back in the 90s, so that wasn’t their claim to fame. sebastian’s father had found himself a career in tech, which soon become a booming business and raised his family’s social class and status.

in 1997, the turner family welcomed their first and only child. instead of his mother taking a long maternity leave, she made the choice to go back to work just a few weeks after giving birth. that left sebastian at home with his dad. the bond between sebastian and his father quickly became one that was unbreakable.

growing up, his dad had always been the softie while his mom was considered the hard ass. dad was there for his first words, his first steps, his first day of school, etc. he’d met many boys at school who preferred their moms, but sebastian always preferred dad. he never minded having his mother at work and dad at home.

being so close to his dad, sebastian often put him on a pedestal as the perfect man. in fact, to this day, sebastian takes a lot after his father. growing up, his father was always presenting his mother with grand gestures of love. big bouquets of flowers, fancy dinners (that sometimes sebastian had to be sent away from), tickets to big events, etc. his dad made their home so full of love and was the perfect image of a man who loves romance. something that developed within sebastian as he grew up.

in elementary school, he took to many different instruments. he learned to play piano, guitar, cello, and bass. his family was always filling the house with music, so it was only a matter of time before sebastian caught the music bug. with this interest in instruments, his interest in songwriting grew as well. of course, they were very bad at first, but over time he got better and better with it. soon enough, this love of music mixed with his love of love, putting him right in the sweet spot and creating love songs.

in middle school, everyone called him a little casanova. he was falling in love (as much as a seventh grader could fall in love) with a new girl each day and was getting his heart broken just as often. one would think constant heartbreak would deter him, but to this day, he still wears his heart proudly on his sleeve.

in high school, sebastian really developed his boy next door persona. he was the guy girls would tell their parents they were with when they needed an alibi, he was a shoulder to cry on, and he was all around the guy you would want to be friends with.

the minute brooks, mason, and sebastian formed their band is one that sebastian will remember for the rest of his life. the three grew extremely close really fast, and it was like he was no longer an only child. he gained two brothers in mason and brooks, something he never thought he’d have the opportunity to have. the way they clicked with their personalities and their music truly made them a force to be reckoned with. nothing beat the band experience-- sleeping on the buses, all-nighters working on melodies and lyrics, the high as they exited stage for the night. that was, until it all fell apart.

the band breaking up was hard for sebastian. it was a world he had gotten used to, one he had expected to carry on living in for at least a decade. he somewhat knew tensions were high behind the scenes, but he always tried his best to play moderator between mason and brooks. this often ended in the two storming off and leaving sebastian alone, but he was willing to keep at it if the others were. their last gig together, though, was one of the most embarrassing nights of his life. partially because he was left alone on stage that night, but also because he felt the whole scenario reflected poorly on him. he couldn’t keep the band together, despite his best efforts.

but just like the other two, he carried on as a solo act. he had always had the capability of working on his own, he just preferred the band life over the solo life. still, with the band already getting his name out there, it didn’t take long for him to find his footing in the music industry. when he first joined the band, he asked his dad if there was any way he could help sebastian figure out different production software and together they spent many months trying to figure out what made a good sound and what didn’t. by the time it was time to release his own music, sebastian felt unstoppable.

hHH i hadnt written in 10+ years so when i latched onto this plot idea i just thought itd be a good time to jump the shark and try it again !! i just wanted smth really edgy and depthful bc im emo and the rest kind of snowballed

THE SCENE WHERE THE GANG IS KIDNAPPED BY ENKI,,,, i debated toning down the violence but in the end i knew where the story was going (and where its still going) and that its gonNA be kinda dark so why hold back now ig

BITTERSWEET AF,,, sort of just treading the line of ‘hopeful’ and ‘hopeless’ at all times to fully portray the feeling of being at your lowest, but with that classic tss ‘silver linings just around the corner’ kind of undertone

hHH theres actually a LOT of scenes like that and i think a lot of my general motivation to keep going comes from that ‘WAIT FOR IT WAIT FOR IT’ vibe slkdf:SDF but the Plot Twist tm in the latest chapter was definitely a big’n, and theres a few more of those still to come :^)

ALL OF IT JSHDJSKD, but again a lot of the enki scenes i was worried would be too edgy TM, and the whole annunaki plot as well i was worried might be too ‘out there’ for ppl, but it takes the story exactly where i always wanted it and lines everything up perfectly so i went for it lol. i was also ofc worried if people would like ila or not bc oc but most ppl love her actually which is so 😭❤️

probably ! ive learned i definitely like the edgy/darker and emotionally driven stories with ongoing plot, so that trend will almost definitely continue. idk if ill write a dystopia again anytime soon, but i think my future stuff will at least retain that long and heavy vibe

oh yEA like basically i was ready to quit after the very first chapter before it was even written and kinda just got it all out on a whim of motivation but was expecting to flake on it like i tend to do with projects, but the invested response to it was just so uplifting that its what ive been riding on all ten chapters and im so grateful for it :’)))

✏️-Would you go back and change anything if you could?

hHHHHHHH yes and ok this is terrible but i actually tend to avoid re-reading my older chapters until i hAVe to bc i suffer from that sO much ,,, , its just little things like tiny words i wanna change or bits i wanna take out/put in and once or twice ive even caught a mistake or plot hole/smth i forgot to add that i rly do have to go back and edit and i just turn to dust every tim e

i really liked the northern lights scene!! it was meant to be a pivotal moment of that ‘bittersweetness’ vibe i was talking abt and it was another one of those scenes i had been planning for a while;;;

isdfhSDF YEs, part of my hesitation to write came from this thing where i always just assumed there was a wildly high standard of writing in fandom spaces like in original literature spaces, where you had to have like 10+ sentences to a paragraph and you had to describe every tiny detail of a setting and you had to follow every single grammar rule or it was unreadable but like. genuinely its like sculpting with words as long as you have a shape ppl get the idea which is such a weight off my shoulders lol, its still a lot of work but so much fun to know i can to an extent do what i want and ppl actually like it like that. i also learned that like most other writers i have to cause my favs emotional and physical pain,

🎁- Any writing advice for people who want to write something like this?

hhHHHH 1. please do it its so fun just give in to the edge my guy , 2. try to get comfortable re-reading your chapters, for me its like when ppl listen to themselves sing/act but im trying to do better bc its so much more consistent when i keep it fresh in my mind and it also boosts confidence when u can pick out the things u like instead of the things u dont, 3. trying to have at least one scene in mind for each chapter that ur excited to write so u can have motivation to update faster! for me it doesnt have to be smth i think would excite the audience either like it could be the most basic thing but just having an idea of it and knowing i want to see it come to life rly helps me stay on top of it all

“We were born in the same year. You couldn’t have known that—that we’re the same age.” Cinder paused and withdrew her hand, tucking it against her own chest. “But my mother felt it. I always knew.”

Glynda didn’t begin to know how to respond.

“We were born in the same year,” Cinder repeated, almost as if to remind herself, like swearing an oath. “We’ve always been each other’s destiny.”

“I always thought it was my destiny to die,” Glynda finally admitted. “Just like my mothers.”

“No,” Cinder said, distantly. “No, it isn’t.”

But even without speaking, Glynda felt like she’d found an answer to a question she hadn’t had the courage to ask.
