oh i visited giovanni's room yesterday! awesome little place id love to visit again with some more time to browse and maybe a looser budget bc they've got some really really cool stuff. there's something for everyone, all the usual genres plus a whole room of new queer lit and all kinds of goodies scattered throughout. vintage playbills, leather, porn, music, movies, a kids section, limited edition, first print, signed copies, pokemon cards, pins, posters. obviously as a thrift store the selection is just whatever's been donated recently BUT u can ask for half off anything that's been there 6+ months so that's neat! theyre the oldest queer bookstore in the country and not too difficult for me to get to so im looking forward to visiting again and bringing everyone i know lmao
