if jake came around post-avatar/pre-atwow (if i remembered right) in your au, then what happened to the first movie? i am curious how the storyline will go with him coming later? will he still become a na'vi, but with miles?? do some characters that are "canon" make any appearances, or are they simply removed in your universe?

ok bear with me a bit because im very bad at explaining

my original idea was that tom (jakes twin) takes his place, so all of the events that transpired in av1 STILL happen besides a few side things

rda get jake to try and re-do their mistakes

big fight still happens, except neytiri is the one leading the resistance - which in turn means that human miles gets his ticket punched

the ONE notable change is that miles' avatar (and the recoms) are created in advance in case the situation escalates

tsu'tey doesnt die (because no), not sure about grace, and no sully kids because im not certain if i want tom and neytiri to be a thing, spider exists except miles gets to take care of him properly because it doesnt take the rda 13 years to bring him back

jake and miles are obviously together in my au, and jake is his second in command
