Edit: Honestly I'm not even mad when that is the reason. I am a big risk factor to be considered. What urks me is when it is very clearly the reason I've been rejected for something and then people aren't honest about it.

while out today i got really sad about Steve constantly being talked down to. people he loves call him an idiot and infer he's stupid really often. his parents were disappointed that he didn't do well enough in hs to get into to college or and wasn't offered a position with his father. he feels like a failure because he couldn't get into trade school. he's not an idiot and i wish the other characters gave him more credit.

Eddie though he didn't do that to him, knew what it felt like to fail in academic pursuits wasn't going to tear someone else down for it., thank goodness for fanfiction so we get more interactions between hem ;_;

It helps me to remind myself that we actually know very little about Steve’s actual life. Most of what we have is our own fandom assumptions that we kind of collectively agree on. So while there’s definitely canon situations where Steve is talked down to or made to sound or look like an idiot, we can chalk it up to just pre-teens and teens being dumb. Is it okay to treat someone like that? No. But I like to think Steve would stick up for himself more.

That being said I love when Steve’s going THROUGH IT because then Eddie can help him THROUGH IT and we get quality content 😉

I’ve been trying to look at apartments just so I can have an idea and tentatively plan my future when I move out on my own. But like. Searching for apartments, looking for ones that are wheelchair accessible narrows it down to very few options. And even the cheapest options would be half of my monthly income at least, and I also have monthly costs for loan and car payments not to mention medical costs and groceries and such. And there’s a lot of apartments that straight up require you to make a certain amount of money a year for them to let you rent and I super don’t meet those. And I’m like. Hm.

you listen to me now boy. fuck midterms. fuck finals. what you do is grind out homework assignments and mini quizzes and projects and you get those minty fresh and you show up to class as often as possible and take notes even if you can't bring yourself to look at them later it'll help you to remember shit more if you write it down. unless you're in a Weirdo Class that only has a midterm and a final or if that shit's like 80% of your grade or whatever you can almost certainly be sure you can pass with a low grade and still have a b in the class these websites (2 of them) are your best friend when it comes to trying to figure how hard you have to study for finals and chances are you've been tryharding finals that you only needed like a 61% on

Hi anon, I think a lot of people can relate to you (or at least I can). Many- if not most- people don’t have life figured out at 18 and know exactly what they want from it. What I’ve learned over the years is that, deciding on a college degree or whether or not you go to college at all, while still an important decision, will not define the rest of your life. People change degrees all the time. They drop-out, re-enroll, take a gap year, go back to college after seven years or just start going for the first time at 52. There’s always going to be an infinite amounts of paths you can take, and none of them are wrong. All you can do is take a guess at which one you deem best suited for you (this could mean: the one you’ll enjoy the most, the one that will help you achieve a certain goal, the one that best suits your skillset or whatever else you want it to mean). You will never know for sure before trying it, so don’t beat yourself up for not making the ‘right’ decision. A choice that seemed smart at first, might get you stuck at a later point. A very lousy period may lead to a great opportunity. So, I guess if you’re feeling stuck, all you need to do is get moving, irrespective of what way you go.

Wanted to share that a few days ago I received the acceptance to my dream college :) It's not anything prestigious, just a small private university that has the major I want, is easy to get to, and will have a manageable tuition after aid, so I'm really happy :)

So I made Jon one. If you're wondering how that works... I'd say don't worry about it but I actually have several ideas.

Jon was always a vampire, he's just a weird, more sentient mutant. Elias wants to study him.

All TMA vampires are sentient, they're just also too hungry to care about things like morals or leading a regular life outside of feeding. Jon is different, Elias wants to study him.

Jon is currently in the process of being turned (just because it hasn't been observed in-universe doesn't mean it couldn't have happened). Elias wants to study him (but if he's not careful his fun new science project WILL eat him).
