I’m getting back into dishonored again so: favorite characters? Favorite levels? Low chaos vs high chaos? Stealth or aggressive? Tools or powers?
this is a good one i love love dishonored especially 2 (its the only game ive ever gotten every trophy for and it took me like 8 playthroughs so phew) but i havent played doto yet....i probably  should soon
favorite characters:
i would say my top favorite is the outsider i am very drawn to highly otherwordly/supernatural characters but like a very type that he embodies well so while a lot of other characters are also probably considered supernatural he sticks out very much to me. after him i would say emily, megan, corvo, hypatia, delilah and i would say jindosh too cause hes insufferable and stupid in a shitty twinkish way that i find amusing . i also love his character design
on the flipside even if you didnt ask i would say least favorite are daud and the duke lol
favorite levels:
i LOOOOVED lady boyles last party and the dukes grand palace i think from each game those would be my favorite levels respectively. i also really enjoyed jindosh’s clockwork mansion i think the clockwork soliders are one of my favorite enemies out of all the games and i love how they playback recordings of jindosh which makes them a bit goofy yet theyre still creepy . delilahs final level in dh2 was also fun i loved the details like the guy trapped in the bathroom it really added a lot to the atmosphere and you could feel how desperate and scared he had been in there
low chaos vs high chaos:
i like the outcomes for characters/worlds better resulting from low chaos but also im very much bad at stealth and its hard for me to resist the urge to kill characters i dont like . while i prefer the outcomes of low chaos i think the character changes emily and corvo go through if you play high chaos are a lot more interesting and i love the difference in drawings emily makes in the first game depending on your chaos level....what really hit hard for me in the second game was having high chaos levels and choosing to keep emily/corvo in stone at the end and getting the resulting achievements “father/daughter is safe” i think it really hammers in how sympathetically twisted theyve become that they think the only way to never lose the other again is to keep them like that.. overall i think low chaos fits corvo better and high chaos fits emily better character wise though
stealth or aggressive:
i like the feeling of successfully choking out/killing someone without getting detected but i have really low patience so usually i just run in there and cause as much destruction as possible lmao. however to get certain achievements figuring out creative ways to kill/knock out people without being seen was really fun and ideally if i had the patience all the time i would pick stealth
tools or powers:
definitely powers. nothing beats rat swarm in the history of any game ever. also as i said i love supernatural/otherworldy characters
