I will say tho. I just realised the manga literally just. writes Gaius out as a party member??? Which also made me realise just how little he has to do in the main story.

He never joins the party at all until Canaan appears, because they never get the Waymarker from Wingul, the Odin Waymarker is also skipped but hes not in that chapter either iirc? hes not present for Fractured Milla’s death, and he isn’t brought along for Victor’s FD, and everything between then and Julius dying doesn’t involve him either I think.

So yeah the manga just doesn’t have him join the party until the story is literally over. WOW.
