the major reason i dont like ange having a witch outfit is that its never written in the text that she does.  and like.  umineko is a visual novel, right, so a lot of things aren’t elaborated in that way sometimes, but i DO think that if she had a magical girl transformation that it would be addressed.  battler’s cape was addressed, why would ange walk in with a whole ass new outfit without a word.

anyways i also dont like the design of her witch outfit, or any of the beta designs either. not sure if ryukishi conceptualized them or anything but i am not a fan of any of them regardless if he did or not.

tbh i just think ange should have a cape like battler, or NOTHING.  nothing preferably, she was the witch of the future basically since her introduction, she had no need to be transformed into a witch, she always was one.

1. Tieria x Veles :

So, I’m assuming we can get past the drastically different settings of their canon (Veles is decently high fantasy and Tieria is, well, from Gundam so you can see the struggle there haha) and found common ground in an AU of sorts, or just somehow in general for the sake of this. I’m on the fence of if they would be able to get along or hate each other. Tieria is naturally difficult person, and tends to be fairly cold and standoffish, they do get better towards the send of the series and I tend to default them there anyway (because otherwise they’re a headache), so I could see them trying to understand Veles, or at least making an effort to. Also, this probably isn’t that big of a deal, but Tieria does tend to be an orderly person, and act in a vaguely proper manner so they wouldn’t really clash with Veles in that regard. That being said, Tieria can be very hardheaded and set in their ways/beliefs at times, which means they would butt heads with Veles at times. Also, Tieria’s not even human to begin with so Veles being a vampire isn’t the most off-putting thing in the world (whether or not they would actually believe Veles would depend on the verse and how farfetched a concept vampires are). Anyway, I think they would get along/possibly become something more with enough time?

2. Link x Veles : 

I feel like Veles would just, constantly, die on the inside watching Link haha. Just, Link walking around without shoes (disgruntled Veles noises), Link frying monster guts to eat (disgusted Veles noises), Link would be such a walking disaster to Veles, and I think it would be hysterical. That is, assuming, they’re even on the same side and wouldn’t, outright, be enemies. That’s it. That’s all I have here. Link would try Veles’s patience, and I don’t even think they would be friends - just two people on the same side (if they are) who barely tolerate (in Link’s case) one another. 

3. Yasusada x Veles : 

I feel as if they wouldn’t get along? It’s hard for me to tell because Yasu typically tried to tolerate those who are on the same side as him (Revelations, otherwise, they would be on opposing sides and would, obviously, be enemies), but he is naturally leery of those from Nohr, and wholly dedicated to Kamui and the Hoshidan royals. I think their personalities would clash, and Yasu would be distrustful of Veles. I also can’t see if, if he were to ever find out that Veles is a vampire, him ever trusting Veles again (despite the fact that Yasu lies about who is). I don’t see them being able to get along. I think Yasu would ‘tolerate’ him, but that would go out the window if he were to ever find out Veles is a vampire because then he would view Veles as a danger to Kamui/the other royals.   

4. Leaks x Veles  : 

So, this is one of the only cases where Leaks’s default hard no would become a vague maybe? It’s really difficult for me to judge, though, and I wouldn’t argue that it would be a healthy relationship. They’re both fairly cynical, and I could see, after years of losing people he loves, Veles possibly being open to Leaks’s opinion on love. Basically, if there exists a verse in which Veles ever becomes a villain, they would probably be in agreement with one another. So, basically, if you want a power couple that has a kind of dark relationship who will lord over the world with darkness and destruction, that’s probably what they would be haha.    

In the FE verse I have for Leaks where he’s not a villain/Pre-meeting Shui verse/Leaks doesn’t get rid of his emotions, they might still get along? Leaks is a pretty solitary person, though, and completely obsessed with dark magic and I’m not sure how Veles would react that (because I would understand if he were to react poorly to Leaks’s interest in dark magic). 

5. Oda x Veles : 

I have no idea man. Oda isn’t hard to get along with, but I also just don’t think they’re one another’s type to be honest, like, at all? They would tolerate each other, and maybe be able to have a loose friendship, but I imagine nothing more than that, if that. I don’t really have anything else to add, it’s just that by looks/personality/beliefs they’re just not each other’s type.
