Lottaham

* Spooning, a lot of spooning. Mostly Wambus behind Triff but occasionally she’ll be the big spoon. They like putting their faces in each other’s fluff

* They’re not handsy really, they’re both too tired by the end of the day to put any more effort in than “pleaseee put your arms around me”

* Occasionally they’ll ➡️⬅️ and that’s also a lot of shoving their faces in each other’s fluffiness. Triffany will also scratch his back when she puts her arms around him, she’s got very mild but also tough claws, it’s neat

* They’ve gotten so used to cuddling that sometimes it loses their meaning to them, but if they go a period without it, it becomes VERY difficult to sleep.

Wigglefunny

* It took Gramble a long time to stop instinctually curling up when they started sleeping in the same bed. To compensate, Wiggle would kinda just wrap herself around him by tucking her legs in so that they’re by his and putting her arms around him

* Once he did get out of that habit, they tended to hold each other. Wiggle’s big enough to wrap her arms around him, and she liked to pet him a lot, mostly down the back. Since he slept with his sweater on, she’d just put her hand in and pet him like that, a couple back scratches too

* Sometimes Gramble would feel like he didn’t give Wiggle the same affection he gives her, so he’d try to be a big spoon that night. It’s generally pathetic, him being a tiny plump man trying to hold his overly tall girlfriend, but she ADORES those nights; he purrs against her back when he does it cause he likes it when she feels loved too.

* Oh yeah gramble purrs

* Being held and wrapped around makes Gramble feel secure- there’s a feeling of security in having someone a lot bigger than him holding him close, like she’ll never let him go.

Snorplo

* Since it took them forever to sleep in the same bed, they only cuddled on the couch for a long time. It was generally Snorpy laying on top of Chandlo, his legs would be kinda hanging off the couch, but he didn’t care- as long as he was there with his boyfriend, it didn’t matter

* Chandlo’s a nibbly guy. He’ll shove his face in Snorpy’s collar fluff and start chewin’ on him a little, and he won’t notice until he’s like “why is my fur very vaguely wet. chandlo”

* Snorpy likes feeling Chandlo’s muscles, the firmness of a strong body just makes him swoon

* Chandlo is ALWAYS the big spoon, no matter what the case, he’s always comin’ from the back (don’t take that out of context i WILL destroy you)

* Being held makes Snorpy feel safe and secure, he doesn’t feel like that a lot. But after they started sleeping in the same bed, he started sleeping better

Lizegg

* You know Liz is grabbin those egg rolls (fat. eggabell is plus sized) and you know Bell adores it. They adore each others touch, no matter what.

* Generally, they spoon, but sometimes they face each other. Those are the nights Eggabell shoves her face into Liz’s chest fluff and just. falls in love with her wife all over again, wrapped in her touch.

* Liz also does the nibble thing. I don’t know why but something about walrus tusks makes me go “yeah they chew on their partner”

* Egg has a tendency to touch Liz’s scars, and she’s not sure why she does it, but Liz appreciates it. Gettin’ handsy with your wife’s battle scars

Beffloofty

* Barely a physical couple, and just generally don’t show romantic affection around other people. It took the people closest to them months to realize they were actually together

* Beffica finds Floofty’s chemical burns hot as fuck. Just like “damn boy (gender neutral) you spilled acid on yourself?? that’s cool as fuck”

* Since they don’t sleep in the same hut, they don’t cuddle, but when they do, they… also don’t cuddle. It’s hard to fit two plus sized people in a twin bed.

* Where do they cuddle then? They like going on outings together, they snuggle in the wilderness

the way satoru shows affection would make you melt so easily…because it’s always kind of wordless, and unexpected?

when you’re sat at the table as he cooks breakfast, and he shifts past you to grab something—but he suddenly pauses like he’s trying to recall something. he leans down, grabs your face and plants a kiss to your cheek. like he couldn’t have held back, and his intrusive thoughts took over.

when he gets home and wraps his arms around you from behind, breathing softly into your hair, no words needed as he squeezes you so so tight.

when he randomly yanks you halfway across the couch to pull you into his chest. so he can procede to dance his fingertips up and down your side and stroke through your hair, with his heartbeat calm and even against your ear…and if he feels goosebumps he leans over for the throw blanket and wraps you up all proper.

he giggles to himself at how sweet you look, wrapped up like a burrito and lazing on him. he lifts your chin with one finger and then leans in for a kiss, but before he does he sings. “i love youu.” - all smug, all smiling, all satoru.

mittens !!!! pattern X - i modified a bit because my yarn was a bit more thick, so i shortned a few rows of the colorwork & added the burnt orange details instead :)

#remember when i posted almost a month ago about a friend that commissioned some mittens #? #so yeah the one i was making initially turned out fine i suppose #i even posted the picture here #but the i noticed the sizing wasn’t right & the yarn i was using was sooo annoying to work it i just couldn’t get it right... it was also #like dyed like ombré? & the colors were a bit off. like each mitt had a different color like the weren’t even a pair... #but i was insisting too much like i undid & knitting that thing like +10 times #knitted* #so i decided so grab some yarn that i like for my mittens & that i’m already familiar with & found this pretty pattern & so!! ta-da!! #it’s so much nicer than the other one. also my friend wasn’t that specific & gave me a lot of liberty do to whatever #she gave me a general idea of the colors she liked so these are perfect #also the inspo pics she sent me all had this kinda fair isle design but at first i was a little intimidated so i barely did it on that one #first mitten that i had posted. so i’m glad i tried a diff pattern a managed to make these!!!! #anyway that’s basically what my month was all about lol worrying abt the mitts then finally finding a solution #also i got a commission from a instagram mutual to crochet a bag with that little sleepy snoopy design on it!! i’ve seen it on tumblr a few #times now & i’m excited to finish this project & finally get to it!! already bought the yarn & it’s so pretty #SO MANY TYPOS SORRY #girl knits world #knitting

the reason why bejeweled feels very calvin to me still is how it parallels high infidelity. in general, the 3am tracks seem to explore a darker, more explicit side of a storyline that’s already present, if only in the form of subtext (like we don’t have a direct parallel for wcs, but we do have two songs exploring formative past relationships vaguely sexually, and wcs is the darker example), on the main album, and bejeweled/high infidelity is perhaps the best example of this. its similarities to tolerate it, which is about something she felt ‘at one point in her life,’ back this up. HOWEVER, I do think it’s exploring a potential outcome of the then-current state of her relationship with joe. like, this is how things could go - I have forgotten that I have a man in the past, and I can do it again.

This is just me opening up a conversation and or discussion because I’d like to hear your thoughts. I have just noticed that we usually tend go the route of the reader being a short life species. (Or something of the sort.)
