what Are your thoughs on hypersexual Lily?? I readed that headcannon one (1) time and I can't stop thinking abt it

yeah, i have thoughts on this! i don’t know if i see her as hypersexual myself, but i have headcanons that are similar. lily occupies a weird position, where she’s considered “pretty/charming” but doesn’t seem to have a ton of friends (i see her as lonely), AND she’s really studious without being traditionally “nerdy”, in the sense that she’s Frequently Pursued by types like Big Shot Quidditch Star James Potter.

i think the flipside of this position in real life is often slutshaming or something adjacent, regardless of whether she has experience or not. i think if lily grew up in a small town, everyone would be nice to her in the hallways, and she’d never feel properly ostracized; but when she’d go to the bathroom, she’d see something scrawled in the stall like “lily evans gives toothy head”. and i think she’d either stubbornly refuse to acknowledge those sort of rumors, or even lean into them to a degree, rather than going “i wouldn’t do that!!!”

i don’t know if this reference resonates, but i see her as verging on (but still extremely different from) being a beverly marsh-type character.
