As spring warms everything up and trails become more accessible, I just want to put this out there.
TAG. YOUR. SOCIAL. MEDIA. RESPONSIBLY.
I’m seeing it already. A local famous grizzly and her cubs woke up just a few days ago. Someone spotted the family, and then posted pictures of it to social media.
The problem? They tagged with location, the specific tag numbers of the bears, the tags of the park, the works.
The result? Paparazzi have swarmed the park trying to get a special picture, crowding the roads and causing general mayhem. This limits the range the animals can safely go, this stresses other animals, this makes the roads practically impassable.
I want you to experience nature. I want you to see this place and understand why I love it so much. I want you to have a really awesome trip. Make sure you tag your posts responsibly so that others can have the same experience, and for the love of everything good on this earth, DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE OR SET BAIT SO YOU CAN GET A COOL PICTURE.
