Pretty straightforward!!! Ive been on an intense Friday Pilots Club kick and been REALLY enjoying this song in particular, as well as Arboretum by Sparkbird (which i immediately put on my scarian playlist, please you have to understand the vision, please, PLEASE--)

The Shins' song is bc ive been thinking a lot abt a future scene of hunger!grian's that i CANNOT wait to write hehe

Well, Northern Wind goes on the list for sure, since that was my introduction to City and Colour!! This song is so beautiful and gentle, your honor my shrimp emotions.... C&C has basically defined a good chunk of my life, so i think this song definitely goes on the list

This one is a little hard to explain, but i associate the song Scene Two - Roger Rabbit very heavily with a time in my life where the chorus hit especially hard, so even to this day that chorus is like a BRICK directly to my face whenever i hear it 😂😂😂

Alright and then this last song is basically one that i would sing all the time as a newly minted teenager-- one i both really liked to sing to show off the upper ranges of my register (im a mezzo soprano), and also just. A heart-aching song i always thought was BEAUTIFUL in general. I dont listen to it a lot these days, but as a kid, it was my go-to when i just really wanted to feel
