AN: to the anon that requested Julia, I'm not as familiar with her but hopefully you still enjoy this! :)

You were grateful to be back in Canada for the holidays, you missed seeing your family while playing in Italy. While you did play for the same team as your girlfriend, it was nice to spend time together back home and away from work. Christmas was a few days away and you and Julia were doing some last minute Christmas shopping for a few more people.

The two of you walked hand-in-hand around a mall, stopping to venture into any store that looked like it could offer something. Julia pulled you to a stop in front of a clothing store, signaling she wanted to go inside. You let the midfielder pull you into the store, letting her lead the way to whatever had caught her eye.

The Canadian let go of your hand to push apart different shirts that were hanging on the clothing rack in front of her. A quick glance at the clothing items, you knew your girlfriend was no longer shopping for other people.

“That doesn’t really seem like something your sister would wear, babe,” you joked with a raised eyebrow.

“Just giving you some last minute ideas, y/n/n,” your girlfriend joked back as she turned to continue looking around the store, sending you a quick wink before completely turning.

You laughed at her response but made a mental note of what she had taken off the rack to get a closer look at. You trailed behind her as she looked around, finding it amusing that she would hold up something and throw a quick glance in your direction.

“You do know I've already finished shopping for you,” you laughed after a few minutes of her browsing. Julia nodded and sent you a small smirk.

You playfully rolled your eyes at your girlfriend before taking hold of her hand again, having missed her touch. Julia directed the two of you to one of the mirrors in the store, taking a quick mirror selfie of the two of you to post later in an Instagram photo dump with the other pictures she had taken throughout the day.

The two of you left the clothing store in favor of finding a store that actually had something for the few people who needed another gift or two. Your hand held tightly onto the midfielder’s, keeping her close you passed loads of people who were also doing some late Christmas shopping.

After stopping to go into a few more stores, you both were able to find everything you were looking for and were now officially done with Christmas shopping. Once you returned back home, you were quick to get everything wrapped so it would be ready for Christmas morning. As you were taking a break from wrapping, you got a notification from Instagram that Julia had posted and tagged you in a post.

You opened the app to see that the midfielder had in fact posted a photo dump of the pictures taken throughout the day, with the picture in front of the mirror being the first picture. She had a simple caption that read “last min. shopping with my love 😜❣️.” You quickly liked the post before commenting a few hearts. The few emojis not even scratching the surface of the love you had for your girlfriend.

and she essentially just keeps making herself more and more desirable as a player as she develops, both on the national level, with collegiate ball, and (like i mentioned) european training camps(?)
