Endgame - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female reader
Warnings: talk about Nigerian foods (please correct me if I'm wrong), fluff, like very cute fluff, meeting the parents, badly translated German
Word count: 1946
Note: As always, English is not my first language. This one was requested and the request was: Could you write a fluff about meeting Karim's parents or teammates for the first time, and them absolutely loving you, just him being in awe of you My dear anon, I hope I did your request justice and that it is what you hoped for. Requests always make me a little nervous because I'm always afraid it won't be what you expected. This is purely fiction and I do not know Karim or his parents in real life. Please do not copy and/or publish my work, reblogging is totally fine!
To say she is nervous is an understatement and it is (according to her) for a good reason. She has been in a relationship with Karim Adeyemi for 7 months and they decided it is time to meet each other’s parents. He met her parents last week and today she was going to meet his mum and dad. They decided it would be a fun idea to invite them to Karim’s place instead of going to their house, but now she is doubting that decision. Especially since she promised Karim she’d take care of dinner and that it would be totally okay.
For the past week she’s been researching how to make traditional Nigerian dishes. Some of them she could skip because they were specifically made for things like marriage and that was definitely not the vibe she wanted to give off yet. She decided that fufu with Egusi soup would be her safest bet. She went to quite a few different stores to find all the ingredients and she made sure to get some extra things to make a salad and some things to make lasagna in case she screwed up or they didn’t like the food.
Karim would be gone for most of the day because of training and social media duties, so she had the house and the kitchen to herself. Early in the morning she decided to clean the house, well the last bits since they cleaned most of the house together in the past few days. After that she completely focussed on dinner. Karim didn’t even know she was going to make a traditional Nigerian dish, she kept it a secret in case it wouldn’t work out and she’d have to serve the lasagna that she prepared as well. It was ready to go in the oven in case it all turned out bad. This was not the case though. She read the recipe multiple times in the past few days and she generally knew how long some steps would take. Of course she still worked with the recipe, but it did help when it came to handling different steps and the time limits to them.
After a few hours in the kitchen and some hard work, everything was finally ready and right on time too. Karim would be home any second and his parents would arrive in an hour, giving her the time to shower and get ready. As she steps out of the shower, she can hear the front door opening and closing. She tries to quickly dry off and as she’s pulling on her underwear she hears footsteps on the stairs. A moment later Karim enters the bedroom, he takes a glance at her and immediately stops in his tracks. His eyes rake over her figure and he leans his shoulder against the doorframe whilst biting his lip.
She lets out a laugh. “What?”
“Nichts, ich bewundere dich.”
She can feel the blush taking over her face, so she turns to the wardrobe in order to look for a good outfit. She mumbles a thanks and a second later Karim approaches her. He took a shower at the training grounds, but is looking over her shoulder for a different outfit. He’s faster when it comes to choosing and has his outfit within a minute. Before he turns away after grabbing the outfit, he presses a kiss to her shoulder and suggests one of her favourite outfits.
“Isn’t that too casual. I want to make a good impression on your parents.”
“Mein Schatz, it’s not a fancy restaurant. We’re at home and you should wear something you’re comfortable in. My parents will love you, they’d love you even if you wore a garbage bag.”
She smiles at his reply, thanks him again and grabs the outfit he suggested. They dress in silence and take their time in the bathroom. Somehow she’s done before him and this time it is her turn to admire him. The outfit he chose looks incredible on him, he has his own style and she adores it. After he’s sprayed on his perfume, she steps in front of him and wraps her arms around his waist. His arms immediately wrap around her shoulders and she takes a moment to breathe in his scent. It helps to calm down the nerves she has, ever since they met, she’s felt most comfortable in his arms. She notices him taking in her scent as well before laying his head against hers.
They stay like that for a bit before he kisses her forehead and they pull away. She grabs his hand as they descend the stairs. They walk into the kitchen and she asks him if there’s something he would like to drink. She doesn’t get a response straight away and it makes her look at him. He’s standing in front of the stove where the dinner is ready to be heated. He’s lifted the lid of the stew and she can see his eyes are closed.
“Karim, are you okay?”
“Did you buy this somewhere?” She’s a bit offended that he’s asking that, especially since she spent a few hours making it.
“No, I made it. Why?”
His head snaps her way. His eyes are wide and he moves to grab a spoon. He puts a bit of the stew on the spoon and tastes a bit of the stew. He puts the spoon on the counter and looks at her in awe. She made this? She made a traditional Nigerian stew, she put in that much effort just because his parents are visiting. He quickly moves towards her and lifts her off the ground a little. He’s complimenting her left and right, whilst she’s barely registered what just happened. As he’s putting her down, the bell rings and they move towards the front door. As Karim goes to open the door, she quickly grabs his hand and squeezes it. He squeezes her hand back and opens the door.
Immediately his mum moves past Karim to get to her. She wraps her arms around her and expresses how excited she is to finally meet the girl that stole Karim’s heart. She hugs Alexandra back with a big smile, not having expected her to be so warm.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to overstep any boundaries by hugging you. I hope it’s okay.” Immediately she assures Alexandra that it’s totally okay and they hug again, this time really introducing themselves to each other.
“Hi mum, how are you? Yes, I’m here as well.”
Karim’s sarcastic comments make them laugh as they release each other. Alexandra moves to him whilst calling him a big momma’s baby. He immediately protests only to be silenced by both his parents and his girlfriend. Abbey moves past Karim and Alexandra to introduce himself. He also gives her a hug. It’s just as warm as Alexandra’s, just a bit shorter. She invites them further into the house and they all sit on the couch. Karim asks around for drinks and she walks with him to turn on the stove to heat up the food and to help him bring the drinks to the living room.
As they sit down, Alexandra immediately starts a conversation with her and they get along incredibly well. They talk about jobs, football and going to watch some of Karim’s games together. Meanwhile Abbey adds some comments into their conversation here and there whilst Karim is just admiring his girlfriend and the dynamic between her and his parents. After a few minutes she moves to the kitchen to check on the food, leaving Karim alone with his parents.
“Is that Egusi soup I smell?” It’s his dad that asks first. As Karim confirms that it is in fact, Egusi soup, his mum is quick to add in her piece.
“She made it from scratch? She’s a keeper, Karim. I love her already, she’s not allowed to leave this family.”
Karim smiles at his mothers comments and agrees with her. He’s incredibly aware of how amazing his girlfriend is and he’s not willing to let her go, not ever.
She walks back into the living room not long after to announce that dinner is ready and they move to the dining area. She’s a bit nervous as she’s serving the food to his parents, more so when she realizes she’s never tried eating fufu before and that she’ll probably embarrass herself quite a bit. Karim notices though and is quick to help her out, which amuses his parents greatly. She made the dinner for them, yet doesn’t know how to eat it herself. They think it’s incredibly sweet.
The second they try it though, they are in awe. They immediately start complimenting her cooking skills and Abbey even asks her if she’s willing to give her secrets. Abbey is fully convinced that her Egusi soup is better than his own. It makes her blush and she is more than willing to share her recipe with him. Conversation really flows and they’re all having a great time. Karim can’t help but admire her, she’s literally everything he could ever hope for and more. After dessert he is fast to grab her hand under the table. He squeezes it softly and it makes her look at him and she mouths a ‘you okay’ his way and he just gives a small nod. It’s almost midnight when Alexandra and Abbey head home, promising to keep in contact and to meet up again soon.
Alexandra doesn’t leave without giving her an extra hug and softly thanking her. Both for the food and for making Karim happier than she’s ever seen him. She blushes and holds Alexandra a bit tighter and responds that he’s the best thing that has ever happened to her and she’d be crazy not to treat him like a King as he treats her like a Queen. Another smile is exchanged as Alexandra pulls away and they wave as Abbey drives himself and Alexandra home.
They are both tired as they clean up the mess and turn off the lights to head upstairs. They’re in their sleeping clothes getting ready for bed in the bathroom when Karim wraps his arms around her waist from behind. She looks at him through the mirror only to already find him looking at her straight in the eyes through the mirror. His eyes show some tiredness, but mostly she finds love and admiration. It makes her blush a little.
“I love you, I really really love you.” Karim’s whisper is soft and he immediately presses kisses to her right cheek after saying it. “You’re amazing and I can’t believe how well you get on with my parents. I knew they would love you but this had surpassed my wildest dreams. Ich liebe dich.”
They have said they love each other before but never as intensely as Karim has now. It makes her eyes water a little as she reciprocates his ‘I love you’ with her own. She turns around and puts her hands on his jaw. She presses kisses all over his face, repeating the same phrase over and over again. They share a soft but passionate kiss before heading to the bedroom. She gets under the covers as he turns off the light. He takes a small sprint to the bed and climbs in quickly. He wraps his arms around her and pulls her as close as he can. Their foreheads are touching as they breathe in sync. Both of their eyes are closed as they whisper another ‘I love you’ to each other. Both of them, incredibly aware that they’ve found their endgame.
Nichts, ich bewundere dich: Nothing, I'm admiring you Mein Schatz: my dear/treasure/darling

Hey i hope you doing well? <3 i would like to request something with Jude where the reader go on the pitch after a game and celebrate his goal with the team (Dortmund)
The whistle blew and you and your friends let out a sigh of relief. Dortmund was still in the title race after this 2-1 win, with Jude scoring the winning goal.
“That man could bring me to this knees with just that arm band, dunno how you’re still functioning Y/N.” Heidi, your best friend, whispered.
You laughed at Heidi’s antics with Lexi, Gio Reyna’s girlfriend.
“You’ll have to tell him that yourself Heidi.” You responded.
“Oh trust me I will.” She winked at you, making you squirm at her unapologetic-ness.
Sometimes, you aspired to be like her.
A man from the Dortmund staff came up to the three of yous then spoke in German, to which you and Lexi blushed in embarrassment, not knowing the language.
“He said we can go down onto the field. Come on!” Heidi led the way, flashing a smile at the staff you all passed on the field.
The three of you walked through the extremely large pitch, dodging ongoing interviews and moping Frankfurt players. The immediate sight of the yellow wall from the pitch made you smile. BVB fans were truly the greatest.
“Y/N! They’re talking about you!” Lexi whispered to you and Heidi.
You immediately whipped your head around and turned to see fans in the row closest to the pitch waving to you.
“Why are they waving?” You asked.
“Just listen.” Heidi smirked.
“Look it’s Jude Bellingham’s girlfriend!” They squealed.
“Y/N! May I have a picture!!”
“Y/N i follow you on Instagram!!”
They shouted and shrieked hoping they’d get your attention. You were awestruck, they were like fans. You, Heidi, and Lexi just laughed, smiled, and waved.
“This is gonna be my be real!” Lexi squealed, jogging over to the fans.
Heidi turned to say something to you before a thick German accent interrupted you.
It was some guy on Frankfurt’s staff based on his outfit, he held an easy smirk. He looked way too old for yours and Heidi’s teenage selves. He was probably 35 at youngest.
“Ladies. Hallo.” He smiled at the two of you.
Heidi smiled, responding in German while you just gave him a tight nod.
He chatted up Heidi, you watching in amusement, and Heidi as well keeping the conversation with a glint of amusement in her eyes. You’d been friends with Heidi for long enough to know what Heidi always knew peoples true intentions. And the raise of her eyebrows at you meant that she was telling you the man was interested in you.
So you were not surprised at all when the man, with an even wider smirk, turned to you and held his hand out as an introduction. With everyone watching you opted to be polite and went into shake his hand.
However, he instead took it and brought it up to his lips, still smirking. You quickly pulled your hand away and shot him an annoyed look.
“Listen. My name’s Christian, I work for Frankfurt. Wanted to know if you were interested in grabbing a coffee then heading back to my place.” He gave you a sickening smile.
This man was forward.
“Are you blind Christian! One, she’s too young for you. Two, look at the fucking Bellingham kit. She’s taken.” Heidi came to your defense.
“Listen. I don’t see Bellingham here! He doesn’t have to know.” Christian smiled.
“Get the hell away from us.” You glared at Christian, already looking around from security.
Christian’s eyes darkened.
“I have a much higher status here than both of you. So listen you who—” Christian started before being cut off.
“I’d best not finish that sentence if I were you mate.” A voice spoke from behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder.
Jude.
Christian was several inches shorter and scrawnier than Jude.
“Uh Mr. Bellingham I wasn’t aware that she was actually your girlfri—”
“Just scram.” Heidi glared.
And with that, Christian was gone.
You let out a sigh of relief while Heidi went after him with Karim Adeyemi to go and terrorize Christian.
“You alright love.” Jude asked pressing a kiss to your shoulder.
You nodded, twisting your head to make eye contact with him.
“I could’ve dealt with him Judekins. Or at least Heidi could have.” You gave him a teasing smile.
“Yeah but where’s the fun in that? I like being able to show people that you’re mine.” Jude winked at you.
You were about to kiss him when you were interrupted by huffing and puffing. You and Jude looked forward to see Karim panting and Heidi smirking.
“How. Do you run so fast?” Karin barely managed to get out.
“Karim mean freund, it’s a talent.” Heidi winked, scanning her nails.
“Heidi beat you in a foot race.” You stated knowingly.
Karim’s breathing had steadied by now.
“Yeah we were chasing after that Frankfurt guy. How the fuck is she so fast.” Karim groaned.
“So you guys caught up to him?” Jude asked.
“Oh yeah. Managed to threaten him and everything.” Heidi over annunciated.
“Anyways we’ll leave you two now. And remember Jude, Y/N loves men in arm bands. Especially when they’re captains.” Heidi winked before scurrying away.
“I’ll have to keep that in mind then.” Jude smirked down at you, a blush coating your cheeks.
“That was a nice goal you had Bellingham.” You teased him.
“It was dedicated to my biggest fan.” He smiled.
“Your mum’s not here today though.” You smiled innocently.
“I hate you.” He grumbled, burrowing his face into your shoulder.
“You have some eager fans waiting there.” You pointed out.
“They can wait.” He mumbled.
“Jude….” You stressed his name in the way his mum did when she was upset.
“Oh fine. But you’re coming with me.” He tugged you along.
“I’m so proud of you.” You held eye contact before going over to the fans.
“My girl. I love you Y/N.”

Qatar World Cup: Italy Striker Kelvin Yeboah Scored to help Sturm Graz
Yeboah is a young player from 2000 who plays as a center forward for Sturm Graz and is currently ranked second in the competition. He was born in Italy but also has a Ghanaian passport. He has opted to represent his own nation and made his debut in this category in September with the U21 team in the qualification phase of the next European Championship.
Fans from all over the world are called to book Football world Cup tickets from our online platforms WorldWideTicketsandHospitality.com. Football World Cup fans can book Italy Football World Cup Tickets on our website at exclusively discounted prices.

He played an excellent first half of the season with Wattens-Tirol and moved to his current club in the middle of last season, where he surprised both locals and strangers with his great strengths in finding the opponent's goal and finishing moves. After that second round of acclimatization, he has emerged as one of the Marines' best players this season with six goals and two assists in the first eight days of play.
His best position is center forward, a position where he found a spot with Janscher in Graz. The two know each other very well in every aspect. In addition, Yebo's qualities allow him to play on the right-wing, where he is often overrun, and to play a central position on a natural basis. If we had to define Yebo in a few words, we could say that he is a player on the move, with good spatial awareness, quick movements and quick thinking, and a good sense of smell in the environment.
He was constantly moving in the attacking zone, causing problems for the wingers, who in most cases could not keep up with him, so he eventually prevailed. If we add to this mobility his devilish quickness in shooting, it makes him a very thin player who will kill you on the run if you try to give him meters.
Tumblr media
Because of these traits, you might think that he is a player who refuses to receive the ball and that he tends to define himself in the final meters, but that is not the case. At no point does the Italian avoid playing the ball from further back than the center, facing defenders one-on-one, and using his dribbling skills to penetrate different areas of the pitch. For more details about Football World Cup Tickets.
He does a lot of damage when he is on the wing or in the 3/4 area to create space for his teammates and, as mentioned earlier, gets along very well with his strike partner. He and Janchez supported each other in all areas, each using the other's strengths to their advantage. What undoubtedly sets Yebo apart, however, is his ability to shoot and score goals.
His movements in the penalty area in search of a shot are evidence of a good understanding of the game, as he always knows where and when to make the most of it. He is a striker who averages 4.4 shots per game, which is a good rate for 2.4 shots per game. The star of the tournament, Karim Adeyemi, scored one more goal than Yeboah but had fewer shots on goal than him.
Tumblr media
These numbers show that he is a player who, despite his agility, is confident when shooting in the penalty area and easily gets shots on goal. Kelvin Yeboah is undoubtedly a player to keep an eye on this season and in the future, as the 21-year-old still has a long career ahead of him. This season, he will be looking to fight for the trophy of top scorer until the end. We'll see what the numbers look like at the end of the game.

Changed German football, surprise full-back appointment and new players 먹튀검증
Tumblr media

Germany won the match against Armenia 6-0 thanks to Jonas Hoffman's surprise full-back and rookie performances.
Germany defeated Armenia 6-0 in Group J of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar European Qualifier at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart. At the same time, Germany managed to reclaim the top spot in Group J with 12 points from 4 wins, 1 loss and 12 points, following the 2-0 victory over Liechtenstein in the last 2-0 win under Flick.
In this match, Germany used the 4-2-3-1 formation favored by manager Hans-Dieter Flick. Timo Werner became the front-line striker, and Marco Reus, who returned to the national team after two years, formed a double attack line with Leroy Sane and Sergi Gnabri Bayern Munich's flank striker on the left and right. The Bayern midfield duo Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich also built a double volante (a positional term for two defensive midfielders) for the national team, while Thilo Kerr and Jonas Hoffman were responsible for the left and right flanks. Antonio Rudiger and Nicklas Julét started as central defenders, while goalkeeper Manuel Neuer kept the goal.
The most notable part is the placement of the left and right flanks of Kerr and Hoffman. Kerr originally played as a central defender in his main position, and he also played the role of a central defender in the last match against Liechtenstein. Depending on the team circumstances, he has often played the role of a defender (full-back) on the right flank. But the left full-back is his first, aside from making five appearances in the early years of his professional career (2017). Most surprising of all is Hoffman's starting right-back at full-back. Hoffman has never played a full-back role throughout his career. During that time, he played as a flank striker, attacking midfielder and central midfielder. It is manager Flick who boldly hired him as a right full-back. The plan was to place central defender Kerr and flank striker Hoffman on the left and right to operate an asymmetric full-back.
This worked. Gnabry's multi-goals (6th and 15th minutes) plus additional goals from Reus (35') and Werner (44') ended the first half 4-0. Hoffmann's 6th minute, Kimmich's corner kick hit the defensive head He took the back flow with a powerful non-stop volley shot and scored his emotional debut goal in the match A. He was able to add another goal in the 16th minute of the second half, but it was unfortunately canceled when Armenian central defender Taron Boscanian tackled his shot just in front of the goal line.
It's not just attacks. The pass success rate was a fairly decent level of 93.1%, and the tackle succeeded in three innings, which was tied for first place overall, and boasted more than expected defensive power even though he was a flank striker.
Kerr also showed a solid defense by taking the first place in the team in all three categories with three tackles, two aerial balls, and one kick. In addition, it boasts a pass success rate of 94.4%, contributing to a stable rear build-up. Germany's first shot also came from a header (following a corner kick) from Kerr in the 4th minute of the first half (which barely crossed the post).
Hoffman's goal widened the score to 5-0 and took the lead early. In the 15th minute of the second half, Flick replaced Sane and Royce and replaced 18-year-old Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz, born in 2003, in the second half of the 25th minute. In the Bunkyung, he gave the new players a chance by excluding Gnabri and introducing the 2002-born striker Karim Adeyemi.
This is his 7th appearance in the A-match, and his first A-match start before Liechtenstein, which was just before, assisted Werner's opening goal, giving Flick's first goal in his A-match debut. Wirz made his thrilling A-match debut as a substitute against Liechtenstein. For Ade Yemi, this match was his A-match debut.
The introduction of new players was effective. As soon as Musiala appeared as a substitute, he overcame the defense with a sensible touch of the ball within one minute and gave a forward pass. Hoffman took the shot, but was blocked by a defender tackle. Then, just one minute later (17 minutes in the second half), Werner's pass was scored by Musiala, but it was blocked by the goalkeeper's save after narrowing the angle. In the 36th minute of the second half, Werner took a through pass from Wirtz and scored a goal, but it was canceled due to a narrowly caught offside trap.
Eventually, when the regular time ended and the extra time entered, the new players collaborated on the goal. Adeyemi gave Virtz's forward pass in the form of a return and Adeyemi gave it a heel pass, and Wirtz connected it with a ground cross again.
As such, Germany won 6-0 against Armenia and continued their two-game winning streak under Flick. He is the first German national team coach to score a goal difference of +8 in his first two games since he took over as manager.
Above all, in addition to the surprise tactic of operating Kerr and Hoffman as left and right fullbacks, the trio of rookie players added to the anticipation for the future. It is a flick that adds freshness to the German national team, which has been somewhat stagnant after 15 years under the former manager Joachim Loew.

Lazy day - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female reader
Warnings: sugar sweet fluff, some badly translated German
Word count: 1781
Note: As always, English is not my first language. I wanted to write something really cute and I think it turned out just right. Again, I don't know Karim and I have no clue what he is really like, so this is purely fiction. I just can't help but write for this adorable, handsome and underrated man. Please do not copy and/or publish my work, reblogging is totally fine.
The first few days after Karim got injured were very hard. They had to make sure how severe the injury was and how long he would be out for. Then Karim had to come to terms with the fact that he wouldn’t be able to play with the team and that he would miss the important return game against Chelsea. He was more than determined to be back as fast as he could. But she wouldn’t be his girlfriend if she didn’t tell him he would need to take it slow and not rush anything. Getting back too early could mean getting a worse injury than before. That didn’t stop Karim though, you could find him around the training ground every single day to help out or to train.
Where she thought he would have some more time to spend with her, he only had even less time than before. She doesn’t hold it against him though, she understands his need to help out where he can. So everyday she makes sure she has everything ready for him to take to the training ground. Which means she gets up earlier to start on breakfast and for making his lunch. Karim is usually still asleep and she lets him get the rest he needs. Recovery is always better with enough sleep and rest.
So when she hears her alarm go off a week after Karim got injured, she gets ready to quietly slip out of his hold to start on breakfast. And as she softly grabs his wrist to move his arm from around her waist, she stills when he puts his arm right back where it was before. She waits a minute or two before she tries again, but no luck. She carefully turns around in Karim’s hold and finds him with his eyes still closed. She lets her eyes rake over his face, taking in all of his features. She lifts a hand to softly trace over his eyebrows, taking in the arch of his nose and the shape of his lips.
Her fingers trace from his eyebrows to the side of his face, over his cheek until she reaches those lips. Her thumb runs over his top lip and she feels him purse his lips to press a kiss to her thump. It tickles a little and makes her release a soft giggle. His eyes open a little to look at her sleepily. She admires the sleepy look in his big brown eyes, along with the twinkle that is always present when he looks at her. She’s always liked his eyes best, they really show her everything about his feelings. She gives him a soft smile, removes her thumb from his top lip and presses a feather light kiss to the exact same spot her thumb was on a few seconds before. She feels the way Karim’s lips curve into a smile. She goes to pull away from him again to start breakfast, but he wraps both of his arms around her this time.
“Where are you going? Don’t leave!”
The way he said it was almost desperate. She is confused, he isn’t usually like this in the mornings.
“I’m getting up to make your breakfast and pack your lunch. I’m assuming you want to go to the training ground again today.”
He shakes his head at her words, which confuses her even more than before.
“I’m not going today, Schatz. I’ve been there everyday for the past week. I want to stay with you today, quality time. You also have the day off right?”
“They told you to take more rest, didn’t they? And yes, it’s my day off too.”
He looks at her a little sheepishly, she definitely caught him. He went to the training ground so much that they almost threatened him to stay home. They did eventually manage to convince him to listen to them. The reason being that they questioned if his girl was okay with him being gone everyday. It hit him that he hasn’t spent much time with her lately, yet she never complained about him being gone. So he agreed with the staff and decided to stay home a bit more, to rest and to spend time with his girlfriend.
“Okay, you caught me. But what I said is also true. I know I’ve been gone a lot lately, more than before. You never complain about it, even though you must be a little annoyed. So I promise now, that I’ll be home more and that I won’t be going to the training ground every single day.”
“Thank you, I appreciate that. I don’t complain because I know how hard this injury is on you and that you just want to do as much as possible to help out. I can only admire that, my love. You’re so passionate and I love seeing you do what you love the most. So don’t worry, I will always have your back, even when you’re busy. Because I love you.”
Karim pulled her even closer. Legs tangling (carefully as to not hurt him), foreheads touching. He whispers back how much he loves her and how she’s the absolute best thing that has ever happened to him. They stay like that for a long time, this time with Karim admiring every single one of her features. It’s calm and peaceful and everything they both needed. They soon enough fall back asleep, completely tangled up in each other. And if anyone would see them together like this, they would know. Know that they are meant for each other, heartbeats and breathing in sync.
After another hour or two of sleeping, they both wake up and they just softly talk about the past week. Anything that comes to mind. He shares his stories of the training ground, whilst she talks about work and what her friends were up to, they always have the best gossip. They don’t get to do this often, so they really make the most of this time together. They get out of bed once they hear Karim’s stomach rumble. She laughs once she hears it, whilst he looks at her sheepishly. They get out of bed but instead of walking out of the room, Karim walks up to her. He puts his hands on her hips and she thinks he’ll kiss her, but instead he throws her over his shoulder. A scream leaves her mouth before she starts laughing. She smacks his bum a few times in the hope he lets her go, but he doesn’t and just carries her all the way to the kitchen.
He sits her down on the countertop and moves so he’s standing between her legs. A few chuckles still leave her lips and he’s just admiring the joy on her face. He makes a mental note to do more spontaneous things, just to see the joy on her face like this. He presses a kiss to the apple of her cheek. She puts her hands to the back of his neck and pulls him closer to press a kiss to his lips. They kiss for a bit longer, the rumble of her stomach making them both laugh. She gets off the countertops and grabs everything she needs to make breakfast. Once she has everything, Karim doesn’t leave her side. He’s always touching her in some way.
She hands him his pancakes before they move to the couch, where they put on one of their favourite shows. They sit close together and finish their breakfast within minutes. She puts the plates on the coffee table, before moving back to her spot beside Karim, throwing her legs over his. She grabs his arm, moves closer to his side and cuddles his arm close to her chest. He looks down her way, only to catch the way she leans her head on his shoulder. He intertwines their fingers and asks her if there is a film she’d love to see. She tells him about the new film she heard about and he puts it on the tv.
Somewhere halfway through the film, the doorbell rings. She looks up confused and Karim just shrugs. He pauses the film and she gets up to walk to the front door. She mentally celebrates that she’s looking a little decent once she opens the door. There is a delivery man in front of the door with a huge bouquet of flowers. The man sends her a smile and hands the flowers to her. She asks him if he’s sure they are for her and he nods at her before wishing her a nice day. She admires the multicoloured bouquet and finds a note between the flowers. She grabs it and reads it.
Für meinen Schatz. Ich liebe dich.  Dein Karim.
A few tears fill her eyes as she walks back to the living room.
“You silly man! You got me flowers, for what?”
“Just because. A small way to show you that I love you. I feel like I haven’t done that enough lately.”
She lays the flowers on the table as a sob leaves her lips, before climbing onto his lap and burying her face in the crook of his neck. She can’t stop repeating the words ‘I love you’ and he smiles whilst softly rubbing her back.
“Do you like them, mein Schatz? These are happy tears right?”
“I love them, Karim. You really didn’t have to do this. I know you love me. And I love you. Of course they are happy tears, you always make me happy!”
They stay like that for a little while longer. Eventually Karim turns the film back on whilst they’re snuggled up. She leaves between films to put the flowers in a vase. They continue the day with a few more films and some junk food (where they both agree not to tell anyone). When the time comes around for dinner, she gets up and goes to the kitchen to make Karim’s favourite. He follows her soon enough, not wanting to be away from each other for too long. They eat dinner at the dinner table and decide to play some board games to end the day. Both are incredibly competitive so they play until they’re tied in winnings.
They get ready for bed together and do some skincare. Or she does skincare and forces Karim to do some as well. When they’re snuggled up in bed, they are content with their day. They both give some kisses to each other’s skin, their way of thanking each other for the day. They fall asleep with smiles on their faces, having had the best day together.

Forever - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female reader
Warnings: it mentions troublesome mental health, physical knee injury (acl), questionable parenting, angst, fluff, probably some badly translated German
Word Count: 1024
Note: I have been going through some things and decided to write it out in the form of something fictional. Karim just happens to be the one I feel most comfortable writing for. Remember, this is purely fiction and know that I in no way know what Karim is like in real life. If you are not comfortable reading things about troublesome mental health, physical knee injuries and troubles with parents and the way they raised you, please do not read! Feedback is always appreciated, so if I forgot anything please let me know. Please do not copy and/or publish my work (reblogs are fine).
Karim has been noticing some changes in his girlfriend lately. It all started when she twisted her knee during a volleyball game. She immediately dropped her whole body to the floor crying out in pain. At first they couldn’t see what the issue was, but eventually the orthopaedist confirmed that she would need surgery to replace her front ACL. She was gutted and broke down crying right after the appointment. She loved playing volleyball and now she’d be out for about a year. Karim knew everything about bad injuries and how awful they could make you feel, not just physically but also mentally.
He’s been there for her every step and she seemed to be doing alright up until the 4 month mark after her surgery. She became more closed off, gave short answers and barely even greeted him when he came home. She didn’t really eat much and her sleep schedule seemed to be non-existent. Of course Karim wanted to talk to her about it, but he didn’t know where to start or how to even break the subject to her. He decided to first start cheering her up with little things. Bringing home her favourite flowers or her favorite sweets. Running baths for her after her physical therapy. Getting her a new book every once in a while. At the beginning it seemed to lift her mood a little, but slowly even that little light started to fade.
She wouldn’t talk to him or anyone else about it. Communicating was never her strong suit. She was never allowed to share her opinion at her parents’ house and she wasn’t allowed to talk back or argue. It made sure that she didn’t communicate at all. When she left her parents’ house she started communicating more and then when she started dating Karim, it all became a bit easier for her. Karim knew that communication was key and he communicated everything with her and praised her whenever she communicated with him. He never once got angry, no matter the news. And yet, she was shutting him out now. He didn’t know why, but he could guess. But when he came home from the game against Chelsea and she didn’t say a word to him about it, he had enough.
“Please tell me what’s going on with you! I can’t stand that you’re not talking to me. I’m here, I’ve never judged you or anything that happened before. What makes you think that I’m gonna judge anything that’s gonna come out? I just played an amazing game, scoring the only goal and you have nothing to say to me?”
She just stared back at him, almost looking unbothered but Karim knew better. He could see her mind working, her eyes showing so many emotions that even he couldn’t keep up.
“Please, please talk to me. I’m here, always. Please don’t shut me out, Schatz.”
And slowly he could see her mask begin to break. Her hands started shaking, her lip gave a small tremble as her eyes began to water. She pressed her lips together and hid her hands behind her back, but it was no use as the tears started falling. A sob broke through and immediately Karim pulled her into him. Her arms wrapped around him too, her hands fisting his shirt so hard he thought it might rip. She hid her face in his chest, the tears flowing so fast, that they became small rivers on her cheeks. He started rubbing his hands over her back and softly running his fingers through her hair. Soft whispers of love escaped his lips whenever he wasn’t pressing kisses to her hairline.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry Karim. I didn’t mean to. I just didn’t want to bother you and bring down your happy mood. You’ve been doing so well the past few months. I couldn’t ruin that with my own unhappy thoughts. I started to believe it would be better to keep my distance. But now I can’t anymore. I’m sorry I’m hurting you, I didn’t mean to. Of course I watched the game tonight and saw what you did. You were incredible Karim, ich bin so stolz auf dich.”
The words came flooding out, the dam finally breaking. Karim slowly guided her to the couch and once there he pulled her into his lap, still rubbing her back whilst she now hid her face against his neck. Everything came out, her worries about playing volleyball, the pain she was in, how hard her physical therapy sessions were, how she wanted to support him everywhere but she couldn’t even go to the stadium on her own. After everything came out that she was holding back, she finally started to calm down. Her body, which had been stiff with stress and holding back, started to relax against his.
That’s when Karim responded to everything she said, reassuring her that she was getting the best care and that she would definitely be able to play again. Telling her how much he loved her and that he appreciated all her support no matter the time or place. She could be on the other side of the world whilst watching the game and he’d know that she was supporting him. The tears stopped and she pulled back and looked him in the eyes. She leant her forehead on his, whilst taking deep breaths, their breathing in sync as well as their heartbeats.
“Danke für alles, Karim. I wouldn’t know what to do without you. Thank you for your patience with me and for getting me to communicate. Ich liebe dich, für immer.”
“Kein Dank, mein Schatz. Ich liebe dich auch, für immer.”
He pulled his forehead away from her and slowly pressed a few kisses on every part of her face. In the meantime her hands wandered to the back of his head, tangling her hands in his curls, keeping him as close as possible. After all this, she couldn’t be more grateful for Karim. He is her everything, as much as she is his. They both knew they could get through anything together, as long as they communicated.
(Mein) Schatz: my darling/treasure Ich bin so stolz auf dich: I am so proud of you Danke für alles: thank you for everything Ich liebe dich (auch), für immer: I love you (too), forever Kein dank: don't thank me/you're welcome

Rollercoaster of emotions - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female reader
Warnings: Karim's injury, some angst, some fluff, a bad joke somewhere
Word count: 1083
Note: My own heart broke during this match so now you can all enjoy how I think everything would go if Karim had a girlfriend. Again this is fictional, but based on things that actually happened in real life. I in no way know what Karim is like and how he'd be as a boyfriend, I only have my imagination. I don't think I mentioned this before, but English is not my first language.
The only thing she could think of before the match started, is how good Karim looked in the full black kit. Even just warming up, she couldn’t take her eyes off of him. She knew her friend was talking to her, but she just couldn’t pay attention when her boyfriend was looking this good. Suddenly she didn’t just look at him, he was looking at her as well. He caught her staring and immediately the blood rushed to her cheeks. No matter how long they’d be together, he could always get her to blush. The smirk on his face tells her he is incredibly amused, catching her staring. He sent a wink her way, only making her give him the finger knowing that the blush would only become worse. He went back to training and she finally focussed on her friend, who was gushing about her own boyfriend on the pitch.
Just before heading into the tunnel, Karim caught her attention again. She blows him a kiss for good luck, like she always does and he always catches it with his hand and guides it to his heart. A mouthing of I love you’s going both ways and he disappeared into the tunnel. A few minutes later, the boys came back out of the tunnel, holding hands with the kids. She always loves seeing Karim with kids, he’s just incredibly good with them. After shaking hands, the game is ready to start. Both teams are fighting to get a goal in before the other. Wolf almost gave a goal to the opposition.
But then in the 27th minute, Karim scores with an assist from Marco. She’s jumping for joy, cheering on her boyfriend who celebrates a beautiful goal with his teammates. He looks her way for a second, to find her beaming at him. Her smile is incredibly bright and she blows him another kiss. He beams back at her, happy to see her this proud of him and happy to have scored another goal after his suspension. But then everything goes wrong. In the 32nd minute Karim makes a break for it and even before he can give the assist for Malen’s goal, he feels a sharp pain in his leg. She jumps once with joy for the goal, only to stop the second she sees Karim on the pitch facedown, hand on the back of his thigh.
She feels her heart fall to her stomach, hand covering her mouth in shock, as he just stays on the pitch laying facedown. His teammates surround him and the medical staff is on their way, but she feels like she can’t breathe, tears forming in her eyes for her boyfriend. He’s doing so well, he’s in incredible form and this would set him back for a few weeks. He turns around on the pitch, biting into his arm in frustration and pain and she knows it’s not good. Nico stands over him, watching what is happening and listening to what the medical staff is saying. Nico finds her eyes in the crowd and shakes his head no. That’s when she knows Karim won’t play the rest of the game, that this injury is as serious as she feared.
More tears fill her eyes, as her boyfriend stands but has trouble walking on his own. The look on his face breaks her heart and all she wants to do is go to him. With a man on either side of him, carrying him, he looks up to find her in the crowd. He tries to give her a reassuring smile, but knows it’s no use from the look in her eyes. She knows it’s serious and she’s clearly upset for him. He goes into the tunnel and immediately she leaves her spot in the crowd, not even giving a second thought to her friend. All she could think of was getting to Karim. Security recognizes her and they let her through, telling her where to find Karim.
She finds the room quickly and almost barges in. Karim’s head shoots up when the door opens fast and he immediately locks eyes with her. She brushes past the medical staff and takes a hold of Karim’s cheeks. She touches her forehead to his and takes a deep breath as he wraps his arm around her waist to pull her closer. The bed is digging into her thighs uncomfortably but right now she doesn’t care.
“Are you alright? Do they know what it is? How long will you be out of play?”
Karim chuckles at the rushed questions, knowing that her worry for him is making her talk at a faster pace than others can understand. But he knows her and he can keep up with her questions easily.
“I’m okay, upset of course but there is nothing I can do to change it. They’re not a hundred percent sure, but they think I tore a muscle in my thigh, which is just stating the obvious in my opinion. They’ll run some tests later on and tomorrow morning to confirm how much I tore and how long the recovery will be.”
She listens intently as he talks to her in a calm voice. She’ll never understand how he can be so calm under these circumstances. He definitely is the calm and collected one in their relationship. She presses a few kisses on his nose and cheeks once he finishes talking, making him blush in the process. The medical staff is still there and Karim is all too aware of their presence. But if it helps soothe her worry for him, he’ll allow it of course. Not that he’s complaining, he loves the attention she gives him, even if it’s not the best circumstances.
“I’m so sorry this happened to you schatz. You didn’t deserve this but I know you’ll come back stronger and I’ll be here for you always.”
At that, he presses his lips to hers. So grateful to have her with him. He keeps it chaste because of the other people in the room, but he knows she knows. She’s it for him and he’ll show his love for her whenever he can. The same way she does for him. Never letting a day go by without telling him she loves him. After the kiss, Karim opens his eyes again and looks into her eyes, giving her a cheeky smile.
“Does this mean you’ll make all the fufu I want to help make me feel better?”
Schatz: Love or darling

Insecurities - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female reader
Warnings: talk of insecurities in academic knowledge, little bit of angst, a curse word here or there
Word count: 1077
Note: This just came to mind and I thought it was a good idea. If I have missed anything in the warnings please let me know. Again, English is not my first language, I don't know Karim in real life so this is pure fiction and part of my imagination. Please do not copy or repost my work, reblogging is fine though!
Karim was never interested in school. When he talked about school, he told everyone how he didn’t do anything and the ways of telling his parents about school. How he was honest with his dad and said he failed his test because of football, whilst lying to his mum and saying that the questions were too difficult. So imagine everyone’s surprise when Karim started dating a teacher. One who had a huge passion for teaching and helping her students grow.
Karim was used to busy days of training, traveling and games. It’s safe to say he never thought he would find a girlfriend that is busier than he is. It isn’t just teaching, it’s endless meetings with both co-workers and parents, paperwork and grading, preparing lessons and following courses to stay up-to-date with the changes in education. It almost makes Karim feel bad about the way he was in school. How he just didn’t put in any effort, when there are teachers like his girlfriend who give their all.
There are three big problems when it comes to dating her though. One, she would spend endless nights getting everything ready. Two, the teasing from his friends and family. And last but not least, how she absolutely crushes him when it comes to game night. He’s about ready to ban 30 Seconds from game night. She’s like a walking encyclopedia. When she’s on his team, he’s over the moon. But unfortunately for him, she isn’t this time. They invited some of his teammates and their spouses over for a game night.
They all decided to draw names from a hat to figure out the partners for 30 seconds. Karim and Jude end up as a pairing, which isn’t bad, but according to Karim it isn’t great either. She teams up with Nico, which is everyone’s worst nightmare. Both of them know quite a lot, but together they are a well oiled machine. They fly through the cards, scoring 5 points on almost every turn. Karim is starting to think they’re cheating and their laughs and happy high fives/shoulder bumps are getting on his nerves. And everyones teasing just doesn’t end when he and Jude barely get any points.
“I thought you’d be better at this Karim. You’re dating a teacher. Everyone would think you’d pick up some facts from that alone.” “Wow man, you really should’ve done better in school.” “Guess those jokes about failing tests are backfiring now.”
The last comment is the last drop. Karim stands up abruptly and stalks towards the kitchen. It shocks everyone to see him walk out of the room like that, he can usually take the jokes. What they don’t know is that dating her makes Karim insecure. He knows he doesn’t know as much as she does and with everyone pointing it out. It makes him think he’s not good enough and that she should be with someone smarter, someone like Nico who did pay attention in school. For fucks sake, Nico even knows how to sew clothes.
In the living room, she gets up to go after Karim. She’s also a little confused, Karim is always calm and collected, even when he’s angry. She walks into the kitchen to find him leaning against the counter, his back facing her. She slowly walks his way and softly wraps her arms around his waist. His tense form immediately relaxes a little. They just stay like that for a minute before he turns around in her arms and he wraps his arms around her shoulders, pulling her closer to him. Her arms tighten around his waist as well, her face resting in the crook of Karim’s neck.
“You okay baby?”
She softly murmurs against the skin of his neck. It makes a shiver run through his body. He just nods and holds her that little bit closer. He almost panics when she starts to pull away, only to calm down again when she holds his cheeks and puts her forehead against his.
“Are you sure? It’s like you snapped out of nowhere.”
“I’m fine, I just… Are you sure you should be dating me?”
His question shocks her so much that her hands leave his face. Her mouth drops open, forehead losing contact with his, as she stares at him incredulously.
“What are you on about? How does that question even cross your mind? I’m crazy about you, what makes you think I shouldn’t be dating you. You’ve stolen every single piece of my heart.”
“I just think you might be better off with someone that’s smarter than me. Someone who actually paid attention in school. Someone that can match you in these games, someone like Nico.”
Her eyes rake over his face, studying his eyes and the emotions swimming in them. She’s not sure if he means what he’s saying. As far as she knows, she’s never doubted their relationship because she’s a teacher and he hated school. She loves that they are different like that. And she thought he felt the same way.
“I would never be better off with Nico. Nico is your best friend and my friend. You have never doubted your friendship with him even though you differ in academics. And there is no reason to doubt our relationship for it. My work is just that, work. You Karim are everything to me. You are my private life, where I am the happiest I’ve ever been. Yes, I love my job and the kids. But I’ll never love it and them more than you. I don’t care if you know the full encyclopedia or if you know nothing at all. I love you for you and I would never even think of replacing you in my life.”
This time it’s Karim that studies her. He can tell that she’s telling the absolute truth, not a single trace of a lie. She’s clearly determined to convince him of her love for him and he’s never been more grateful to have her.
“I love you.”
It’s the only thing he responds with, but it’s enough. She understands every underlying thought. She leans her forehead back against his, happy to just be as close to him as possible for the moment. They stay like that for another minute before she pulls away and grabs his hand. They walk back into the living room, no one commenting on it. The night continues as though nothing happened and all is well again.

Jealousy - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female reader
Warnings: fluff, jealousy, bit of angst, insecurities (not necessarily specific), self-doubt I guess and a disguised insult (or a dig of some sort), reassurance
Word count: 1169
Note: As always, my first language is not English. Hopefully this will help cheer people up a little. I'm incredibly gutted Dortmund just lost. But this was ready in my drafts so might as well post it. 'Schatz' is used quite a few times. Let me know if I missed anything in the warnings. Please do not copy or publish my work. It is again completely fictional, I do not know Karim in real life. So this is my interpretation of him. I feel like he's the type of guy that can easily read his partner.
Karim has had an amazing streak on the field lately. Becoming the fastest player in the Bundesliga, scoring important goals to get Dortmund the lead during the games. Scoring the winner in the first Chelsea game. All of these things made people notice Karim more and more. More followers, more comments, more requests for autographs, pictures and his shirts. Even his comments about fufu made him more popular than before, without a doubt also skyrocketing some sales.
As his girlfriend she is more than proud of him and she’s happy to see that he is finally getting the recognition he deserves. He’s been working so hard and after everything he went through with Bayern and playing in Salzburg, he really deserves nothing less. Her heart broke for him when he got injured in the game against Hertha. She loved the special kit he was in and how he selflessly passed the ball to Malen whilst already feeling the injury. She just hated the way he lay on the grass with his arm over his face. It would definitely take a while for him to be back.
Yet it didn’t stop his growing fame. He got an incredible amount of well wishes and she saw how it helped to lift his spirits. Even posting himself, how he’d be back soon and that no one needed to worry. It’s not even a few weeks ago and he is still getting a lot of attention. His recovery is going well so far and whenever he leaves for home, people are waiting outside the training grounds for pictures and his autograph. Even when they are walking out in public together, they approach Karim. She doesn’t mind at all, they’re always very polite towards her and she loves to take the pictures for them.
That is until one day, a group of girls approach them. At first it’s like any other group that wants pictures with Karim. She offers to take the pictures like always and the girls agree. But instead of just standing next to Karim, the girls closest to him, practically wrap themselves around him before the other girls join them. As she takes the picture, she thinks it’s a bit odd, but since Karim isn’t really reacting to it, she leaves it be. After taking a few pictures she hands the phone back to the girl, who immediately checks the pictures only to shove it back in her hands, saying that they’re not good enough.
The pictures looked fine to her, but decided to take a few more as the girls went back to standing next to Karim. One of them whispers something in his ear, only for him to nervously move side to side, not really answering her. The girl smirks back at the camera and it makes her a little uncomfortable as well. Soon enough Karim pulls away to stand back next to his girlfriend. He immediately wraps his arm around her and presses a kiss to her hairline as she hands the phone back to the girl. The girl almost rips the phone out of her hands with an almost angry look on her face, not even thanking her for taking the pictures. The girls walk away and Karim heaves a big sigh.
“You okay? What did she say to you?”
“Everything is fine, Schatz. I’m just glad they’re gone. She was saying how I could do a lot better if I was together with her. That didn’t sit well with me, so I didn’t really respond and made sure to show her I love you.”
It’s incredibly sweet that this is the way he responds to it. But she can’t help but feel a little jealous that another girl is flirting with her man when she’s right there. It makes her wonder how many girls try to get to him. They keep on walking around, making sure he gets some more pictures for his instagram. When they get home, Karim immediately sorts out the pictures to post, whilst she heads into the kitchen to make them both a drink. She feels her phone buzz in her backpocket and she knows it’s a notification that Karim posted his picture.
She takes it out as she waits for the water to boil. She opens his post and smiles at the pictures he chose. He looks incredible in all of them and she’s not the only one who sees that. As she wants to write a reply, she already sees hundreds of them. Girls compliment Karim, calling him hot and how they’d do anything to have a chance with him. Girls saying they want him to marry them. She can’t help but feel a little jealous. She knows that there’s nothing to worry about, Karim doesn’t even give those comments the light of day. He will only respond to his friends, but she can’t let it go. The girls are beautiful and any one of them could replace her. She puts away her phone and finishes the drinks before taking them to the living room.
Karim is on his phone and that makes the jealousy spike more. She puts the cups on the table a little harsher than she should, making Karim jump a little. She plops down on the other side of the couch, confusing Karim even more. As she takes out her phone, he sees her frown deepen even more. It begins to dawn on him that it might have to do with his post. So he decides to check the comments and sees what she saw in the kitchen. Hundreds of compliments for him and he understands that she’s a little jealous. He can’t hide the smirk on his face as he goes to sit next to her.
“Are you jealous, Schatz?”
He whispers it into her ear. She immediately locks her phone as she gives him a huff in reply to his question. It makes him smile and as she sends him a side glance, she catches him smiling. Immediately she scoots further away whilst pushing him away, her face turning away from him. He doesn’t let her get far though. He grabs her and sits her down on his lap, yet she still won’t look him in the eyes.
“It’s okay to be jealous. But you don’t have to be, I only have eyes for you. You rock my world and there is no one that will have crazy moments with me like you.”
A blush immediately covers her cheeks as she thinks back on all the silly moments they’ve shared so far. She hides her face against his shoulder, her arms going around his shoulders. One hand moving to his hair, lightly pulling on the curls. He keeps reassuring her and the embarrassment she feels slowly fades. She fully relaxes in his hold as he presses more kisses to the side of her face. She knows he loves her and he knows, now more than ever, that she clearly loves him a lot too.

Sorry not sorry - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female Schlotterbeck reader, Nico Schlotterbeck x sister reader, Keven Schlotterbeck x sister reader
Warnings: unrequited love (at first), heartbreak, fluff, some nice brothers and sister moments, guilty feelings for Nico, happy ending though, a bit of ignoring as well, tiny bit of badly translated German
Word Count: 2486
Note: As always, English is not my first language. This one has been on my mind since forever and so here it is. Nico is playing matchmaker, but in the wrong way at first. I love the brothers/sister dynamic in this though. Oh and reader is the baby sister, mentioning that just in case. Please do not copy and/or publish my work, reblogging is fine!
If there is one thing she hated, it is her brother trying to play matchmaker. Nico loves to interfere with her love life and tries to get her to date some of his friends. She refuses every time, they are not her type most of the time. Luckily, Keven always backs her up when Nico suggests going on a date with another friend. She knows he only does it to make sure she ends up with a guy that would treat her right, but he clearly has no clue what her type is. Which is kind of ironic, because there is one friend that he doesn’t try to make her go on a date with and that’s just the guy that’s her type.
Nico and Karim are like brothers, they’ve been best friends since forever. She is two years younger than Nico, which makes her Karim’s age. She always gets along great with Karim as well, but the older she got the more her crush on Karim grew. She didn’t tell anyone and she still doesn’t tell anyone. Keven knows, but that’s because he figured it out on his own. He thinks it’s hilarious that his younger brother is trying to match their sister with a friend, when she’s in love with his best friend. He promised he wouldn’t tell anyone, she made him swear, but he hates the way she pines after Karim and the boy just doesn’t see. He’s afraid her heart will be broken.
And that day comes sooner than any of them expected. It’s a warm day when Keven is celebrating his birthday and he invited Karim as well, since he’s practically family and he gets along with him as well. What no one expected was Karim bringing a girl, his new girlfriend to be exact. Keven of course greets him happily and introduces himself to the girl. But the second he walks away he’s looking for his baby sister. He sees her not too far, trying to hold back the tears. The second she makes eye contact with Keven and sees the worried look he sends her, the tears break through and she practically runs upstairs. Keven immediately goes after her.
He follows her to the guest room and stops her from locking the door. He pushes through before locking the door himself. She throws herself in his arms, tears streaming and harsh sobs leaving her. He softly sways them side to side whilst shushing her and telling her everything will be alright. At the same time Nico is greeting Karim and his new girlfriend, no one has noticed that the brother and sister vanished from the party. That is until Karim asks for her, wanting to introduce her to his new girlfriend. Nico looks around trying to find her, but when he doesn’t see her he frowns.
“I’ll check upstairs, I’ll be right back.”
Nico goes upstairs, checking from room to room. He soon enough hears sobs coming from the guest room at the end of the hall. He immediately sprints the last bit and knocks on the door. He hears Keven ask who it is and then hears him ask their sister if he can open the door for Nico. He can’t hear her response, but soon enough the door opens. He walks in and finds their sister a mess in Keven’s arms. Keven almost gives him a desperate look, Nico asking him what’s going on with his eyes. Keven just shakes his head and presses a kiss to their sister’s forehead.
She looks up to find Nico looking at her, his expression concerned. Another loud sob leaves her before she moves from Keven to Nico, wrapping her arms around his waist as she hides her face against his chest. It’s like old times, Nico being the one that can calm her down the best. He gives Keven a confused look, who whispers what’s going on. Shock covers Nico’s face, he really hadn’t noticed at all and now he feels incredibly guilty. He hadn’t noticed his sister being in love with his best friend and he set up said best friend with his current girlfriend. Nico tightens his arms around his sister and starts apologizing whilst rubbing her back softly. Apologizing for not seeing, for aiding his best friend in breaking her heart.
It isn’t long before there is another knock at the door. Keven asks who it is, only for Karim to reply. And whilst Nico had managed to calm their sister down some, the sob that leaves her after hearing Karim’s voice, breaks the heart of both her brothers.
“It’s better if you don’t come inside Karim. She’s not feeling well and Nico is gonna take her to his apartment so she doesn’t make others sick at the party.”
Karim isn’t completely convinced. He heard the sob through the door and knows it can’t possibly be because she’s feeling ill. He accepts it though and moves back downstairs. Nico brings her to his car without anyone else noticing. He drives her to his apartment and once inside he grabs her a sweater and some joggers before turning on the shower.
“Get comfortable, and don’t feel pressured about not being at the party. Keven understands and we’ll make sure you won’t see Karim for a while. We’ll help you get over the crush.”
“Thank you Nic, I love you and Kev.”
“We love you too.”
Nico goes back to the party, explaining to everyone why their little sister wouldn’t attend the rest of the party. Of course their parents were suspicious, but they didn’t say anything. In the next few weeks she did everything she could to avoid seeing Karim. With the help of her brothers that was quite an easy thing to do. When the brothers had a game at the same time, she went to Keven’s game. When she could go to Nico’s game, she would be gone before the men even went into the tunnel after full time. She ignored Karim’s texts and let his calls go to voicemail. It frustrated him to no end. He doesn’t understand what’s going on or what he did wrong for her to be avoiding him. A few weeks went by and Karim’s had enough. He corners Nico to try and get something out of him, knowing that Nico can’t keep his mouth shut at all.
“Why is your sister avoiding me? And don’t try to lie to me, I know she’s avoiding me. I just don’t know why.”
“I don’t know. And if I did know I wouldn’t tell you.”
Karim is shocked as Nico passes him. Nico’s never reacted to him like this before. And this is the first cold shoulder Nico has ever given him. After getting all his thoughts together, he runs after Nico. Nico has a fast pace, clearly trying to get away as fast as he can. Karim calls his name and it only makes Nico walk faster. Karim sprints after him though and grabs his arm. Nico immediately pulls away, but Karim jumps in front of him. Nico heaves a deep sigh as he avoids Karim’s eyes.
“I can’t tell you. I’ve already hurt her enough when it comes to you. I’m not gonna make it worse.” Karim is even more confused now.
“What do you mean Nico? Hurt her enough when it comes to me? What is this about? Please tell me, she’s my friend too and I have no clue why she’s decided not to have contact with me.”
Nico sees the look in Karim’s eyes and knows he won’t let it go. So he heaves another deep sigh before explaining it all to Karim. How Nico setup Karim with his current girlfriend, not knowing his own sister was harboring feelings for Karim. He told Karim about the crying and the promise of helping her avoid Karim so she could get over her feelings. Karim stands there with wide eyes and when Nico is finished with his explanation, he slaps Nico at the back of his head. Nico looks at Karim confused whilst rubbing the spot Karim just hit.
“I’ve been in love with her too! If I would have known I would have never agreed to you setting me up. Not that it matters because we already broke up, but still. How did you not notice it from either of us?! I know we didn’t notice, but you?!”
“Hang on, you love my sister back? And you’re also single again now?”
As Karim nods at Nico’s words, Nico immediately grabs Karim’s arm and pulls him to his car. In the car he calls Keven, explaining everything to him. Keven scolds Nico at first, for telling Karim everything, but since it’s all working out now, he’ll make sure their sister is home. Nico drives as fast and safely as he can. He feels the need to fix this, it’s his fault his sister has a broken heart when it’s not even necessary for her to have it because Karim loves her back. They arrive at Nico’s childhood home, where she still lives and both of them jump out of the car as fast as they can.
Nico tries to open the door fast, but before he can even put the key into the lock, the door opens. Keven is standing there and urging them to come inside.
“She’s been trying to leave the house for the past 10 minutes, she has plans with friends. What took you so long?? You know what nevermind, she’s in the living room.”
Nico looks at Karim, who ushers him forward because he knows she’ll react badly if she sees him first. So Nico heads into the living room first, only to find his sister in an incredibly bad mood, shooting daggers with her eyes at him. He immediately holds up his hands and her expression softens a bit. She was expecting Keven to come in and at the moment she doesn’t really like her eldest brother for keeping her home. Her eyes rake over Nico as she immediately spots that he’s nervous and yet she can’t seem to think of a reason why. But when she spots Karim behind him, she knows why he’s nervous and rightfully so. Her pissed off expression returns with more fire.
“What the fuck Nico! What is he doing here, I thought you were on my side.” She practically hisses her brother’s way. He looks a little lost for words, she’s never been this pissed at him before but then finds his words.
“Sorry not sorry, but I told him.” She eyes her brother suspiciously not sure what he means, although she can guess what it is that he couldn’t keep a secret.
“Told him what exactly?!”
Nico tries to make himself a bit smaller, pulling his head in as he prepares for her wrath. “I told Karim about how much you like him and …”
Nico doesn’t even get to finish his sentence before she hurls the couch cushions his way. He tries to avoid them as much as he can, even hitting away a few, only to have to run the second they stop because she’s running at him. As a footballer though he’s quite a bit faster than her and he outruns her around the kitchen table. As he runs back to the couch, she tries to catch him only to be held back by Karim. She tries to twist and turn out of his hold, she even tries to stomp his feet to get to Nico.
“It’s okay, I like you back. I like you back!”
He almost has to shout to get her attention because she’s hurling insults at Nico, but once it registers what he’s said, she freezes on the spot. The room is so silent you could hear a pin drop. She slowly turns her head to face Karim.
“Don’t even start. You have a girlfriend, there is not a single universe where you like me back.” She sounds incredibly sure about herself, but everyone can see she’s doubting her own words.
“I don’t have a girlfriend anymore. I dumped her because she wasn’t you. I’ve been crazy about you for years, it’s a miracle Nico never noticed, let alone you. And please don’t blame Nico, I cornered him. And without him telling me, we wouldn’t be here right now.”
She watches Karim’s eyes as he talks, trying to see a lie in there. She doesn’t find one, yet remains silent. It makes Karim nervous now too, has she gotten over him in the past few weeks, is what he wonders. His hold on her loosens a little and she immediately breaks free, making a break for Nico, who didn’t expect it. He closes his eyes and tries to turn from her, afraid of getting hit when he feels her hugging him instead. He opens one eye to make sure, he feels her tighten her grip and sees her hiding her face against his arm, which is protecting his chest. He pulls away so he can free his arms to wrap them around her.
“Like I said before Kleine Schwester; sorry not sorry.” She laughs a little at that before whispering a small thank you.
She turns back to Karim, who is standing there a little unsure. She walks up to him slowly and stands in front of him without touching him. She observes his reaction to her presence so close and concludes that he is trying not to lean towards her, to give her space. She looks him in the eyes before asking: “You’re 100% sure that you don’t have a girlfriend anymore?” He agrees with her straight away, only to be surprised when she puts her hands on his cheeks to pull him closer. She murmurs a soft ‘good’ before pressing her lips to his.
He immediately reciprocates and wraps his arms around her waist. They ignore the gagging sounds from both Nico and Keven. He pulls away first to catch his breath and press his forehead to hers.
“I have to correct myself, I think I do have a girlfriend.”
There are gasps behind them and her eyes widen in panic, afraid she’s just kissed a taken man. “You.” He whispers to her. She relaxes only to tense up again to hit his chest. He starts laughing at her reaction and tries to avoid the hits against his chest. When she calms down enough, she wraps her arms around his waist whilst his arms wrap around her shoulders. She presses a kiss to the corner of his mouth.
“I don’t think I ever agreed to be your girlfriend, Adeyemi.” This time it’s him that panics, but he sees the playful smirk on her face.
“Is that so? Well then it seems I need to ask you a question. Do you want to be my girlfriend?”
“I’d love nothing more.”

In awe - Karim Adeyemi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Karim Adeyemi x female reader
Warnings: fluff, one curse word in German. Let me know if I missed anything.
Word count: 769
Note: This is the first imagine I'm posting. I've written it in third pov from Karim's side. I thought it was odd that there wasn't any content for Karim, so I decided to make my own content. Let me know what you think, feedback is always appreciated. Please do not copy and/or publish my work. It's from my imagination and completely fictional.
Karim was known for his own sense of style and always made sure he was wearing something that would match the trend of the moment. So there was no way he saw himself falling for a girl that didn’t even think about the trends of the moment. And yet, here he was. He was looking into the eyes of the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. She was in the crowd at the BayArena, talking animatedly to her friend and looking around in awe. She wasn’t wearing anything fancy. A black shirt with a Dortmund jersey over it and some skinny jeans. It caught Karim’s attention and he was fascinated by her. She obviously felt eyes on her as she turned to look around, only to make eye contact with Karim.
Immediately he gave her his signature grin and watched as her eyes widened and her cheeks turned red. She looked around to see if he was actually looking at her, but there was no one else around her that was looking his way. So she looked back only to find him still looking at her, that same grin on his face, head tilted slightly. And then she smiled at him, making his heart beat faster than it ever had before. He sent her a small wave which she returned with a mouthing of good luck. It made him give her an actual smile instead of a grin before he turned around, only to bump into Schlotti who was standing right behind him.
“Scheisse, you scared me bro.” Nico didn’t respond at first.
“Who is she?” Karim decided to play dumb.
“Who?”
“The girl in the stands, the one that had you smiling like an idiot.”
Karim shakes his head. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Fine, don’t tell me then. But don’t think I’m gonna let this go.”
Karim heaved a heavy sigh as Nico walked away. Looking back over his shoulder at her, he saw that she wasn't paying attention to him anymore. She was looking past him and Karim knew that Nico was the only one near him. He immediately feels deflated, he already feels like he’s lost her and he hadn’t even gotten the chance to talk to her.
But then her gaze shifts back to him and she gives him another smile. One that has him blushing this time and brings back some hope immediately. She moves her hand in a shooing motion, hoping he’ll go back to warming up. He does so, but not without looking back at her again to send her a wink. It makes her laugh, which gains her friends attention, who up until this point was too busy taking in the atmosphere and taking some pictures for the memories. Karim turns back around to warm up, knowing that her attention will shift to her friend now.
During the game he finds himself trying to find her again in the crowd. He knows where she’s seated and luckily they’re trying to score on her side. He’s so distracted trying to find her, that he misses the ball a few times. Jude is cursing him out for it too, since he was totally open to take the pass and get into the box. When Jude is fouled, he sees Nico coming his way.
“What is going on with you? It’s like you’re on another planet. Do you know how important this game is?”
He is rightfully upset with Karim and Karim feels stupid for letting a girl get to him during a game. All he really wants to do is impress her.
“Es tut mir leid. I promise I’ll do better."
And he does, he plays a lot better than before. Determined to show her he is capable of making chances and scoring. He hasn’t scored in the Bundesliga before, but he’s confident he will. And he does, he scores a goal in the 33rd minute of the game. He immediately runs to her side of the field, the pressure falling off his shoulders. He looks on as she celebrates with her friend, her eyes finding him again. He does his signature celebration whilst pointing straight at her, dedicating his goal to her. His first Bundesliga goal, making her smile bright, whilst her cheeks reddened. She sends a heart back his way, making his smile as bright as hers. He immediately shows her a phone sign in the hope she understands. And she nods at him, letting him know she’ll wait for him after the game to exchange numbers. He knows then that he’ll do everything to make her his.
Scheisse: shit Es tut mir leid: I'm sorry

Help me decide?
So I have a few fics at the ready. There are two Nico Schlotterbeck ones, one for Jude Bellingham and I'm working on another for Karim at the moment.
I will probably post one of the Nico ones first, but I'll let you help me decide!

Majeed Ashimeru scores and assist in RB Salzburg big win
Majeed Ashimeru scored and provided an assist as RB Salzburg dispatched BW Linz 6-0 in a club-friendly on Saturday.
The Ghanaian international was at his quality best as he impressed the fans who thronged the stadium with his delightful and intelligent passes to create more scoring opportunities for his strikers.
Mergim Berisha shot the hosts in front after 13 minutes into the game before Sekou Koita nicely converted a penalty to give them a 2-0 lead three minutes later.
The former WAFA star, toppled his superlative display with a fine strike in the 39th minute as Salzburg went into recess with a deserving 3-0 lead.
Back from recess, BW Linz failed to map up any good strategy to stop RB from increasing their tally as Thomas Schiestl pitilessly struck on the 56th minute to snatch the fourth goal for his side.
Ashmiru again set up Karim Adeyemi to score in the 81st minute before Antonin Svoboda added one more in the 87th mark to record an emphatic 6-0 win over uninspiring BW Linz.
RB Salzburg’s next game will be against SKU Amstetten in the OFB Cup on February 9th before welcoming Samuel Tetteh’s LASK on 14th February at home in the Austrian Bundesliga.
