the pokemas story with the family battle event is so fascinating to me because it never clicked to me that each person has their own "style" in battling and it can be hard to synchronize with each other as a team.... despite being family

#i know lusamine is a disaster of a mom but i really appreciate the gladion and lillie interactions since i felt that it was lacking in the- #- actual games. i didnt even know gladion was the older brother and i just assumed they were twins #i really liked seeing the other teams and their familial connections #lance and clair are nice to see. funny cousins #wallace and lisia made my heart so warm like i can tell wallace is such a great uncle to lisia #koga and janine... yeahhh love that for them #brendan and norman is nice too (plus norman talking to lusamine and understanding her issues) #gladion is really cool in this entire event tbh #~ rambling #pokemas hours #i think jaide e. and ethan would have the best coordination even if they contrast each other. they complement each other in a good way #however jaide stone and gold is kinda the opposite because jaide is. such a lawful neutral and gold is such a chaotic evil kid #how is that gonna work... /j also the fact that jaide stone sucks at battling so SFJHFSASJKF #stone family battle except jaide keeps apologizing for messing up but ruby and steven keeps reassuring (and theyre p good at battling)
