so I sent an ask with a link in it and I just realized those don’t usually work so just in case let me ask again 😳 what is/are ur fave pen(s) to write with ? :) inspired by a twitter thread of people debating the best pens 😌 take care king btw I was thinking today abt how much I miss ur city it’s been years since I went and I am thinkin bout it 🥺 blow a kiss to yr nearest shawarma place for me ... ok bye 🌟🔆💛♥️
hmmmm I have left this in my inbox way too long but there are two answers here.
cheap pen for taking to lectures and lending to people: papermate write bros fine point in black, because it has a cap (as opposed to a clicker, which I tend to annoy people with), it glides well, and if someone forgets to give it back to me, it’s no loss. the cap also fits well on either end and I’ve never lost one. downsides: like all cheap ballpoints, it gets goopy at the tip, so watch for smearing. for some reason when the ink gets on your skin it dries blue, so I have blue fingertips annually from september to april.
nice pen for rewriting notes at home and writing birthday cards: sharpie grip pen fine point, black, .8mm. these also come in the non “grip” shape but I just prefer the grip ones. I do not understand these pens. the tip is like a super compressed felt tip pen? the ink is deep black, archival, never smears. it doesn’t have a slidey glide like a ballpoint but more of a satisfying scratch without an actual scratchy effort. these are nice as hell and I’d use them all the time if I could. downsides: if you drop one and it hits the tip, it can snap off and then your pen is toast :( I don’t like thinking about my fallen comrades
anyway yeah if you ever come to [redacted] next year or when it’s safe, we need to meet up <3 we'll get shawarma together 🙏😌 if we both have garlic sauce then the garlic breath cancels out....right
