I'm pretty sure you've put another ask like this in my inbox that I decided to ignore. But I won't ignore this one.

Maeve is a lesbian. That will not be changing. I made the change because I realized I could only imagine her with a woman in the context of future romance scenes.

And there are many, many well-written fantasy/political IFs that have Maeve's personality archetype that you can read instead. So yeah. Go enjoy those if this is a dealbreaker.
