Double trouble for day 13 of #Komiktober: Niknok & Eklok both by Vic Geronimo under Pilipino Funny Komiks. Niknok - Manok (Chicken) Eklok - Itlog (Egg) Based on this sequence, we could finally put to rest that the Chicken indeed came before the egg. Niknok is fond of eating fried chicken. While not explicitly stated, we could safely assume that Eklok enjoyed eggs. Niknok has a cowlick while Eklok doesn't have one. Both Niknok and Eklok would have a speech impediment of some sort (daddy akin, abibili, auuwi). Both would have a loving family with a strict but caring grandmother. The characters might have no relation to one another despite looking alike. This could be a generational thing, kinda like Lee Falk's The Phantom. Niknok was from the late 80's while Eklok was from the 90's. They've also introduced another character named Itok. But the story was drawn realistically and not as well received by the public. Niknok and Eklok stories are somewhat similar to Dennis The Menace or Family Circus.
