Am i thinking about vintage crochet lace and filet crochet because my partner has not made a move on the dwarf weaving he started, for several weeks? Yup.

Would it even make sense to make vintage patterns for lace out of yarns that are not white or off-white, the most common colors associated with lace in general? I dunno.

Am i typing this up instead of working on lace or filet crochet because I have encountered one too many (objectively pretty!!!) xtian motifs in my initial meander through patterns, and I am lightly salty about it? Aye, indeed.
