Catalina's not sure if she should further add onto the round of questioning she had stirred in her mind or if she should let it be. Teeth sunk into her cheek before she decided to just let it be. It was no use fretting over the details if they were irrelevant to the task at hand. Her gaze lowered back towards the ground, digging around in the earth to find some fresh roots.

Her companion, Solomon, seemed to have the time of his life, digging holes into the forest ground where ever he pleased. She is confident that at one point he gave up on root hunting all together. "You're not tired right?"

"Even with shortcuts, isn't that kinda dangerous?" The concern was not to give off a nagging tone but suppose that's a natural reaction when some of her weeks were spent around children. It was second nature to care about everyone else's well being. At this point she was always a puddle of worry. "Sorry if I'm prying into too much."

Admits the witch before she carefully removed some plant roots from underground, eventually freeing a specimen for her later adventures.

   {➹} – THE HEDGEHOG STOPPED, for once glad his small frame was more than covered by the tree he had ducked behind. With ears trained backwards, he stilled his breath for a moment to just listen. He half expected to hear crashing brush, but was met only with silence.

    Good. He was in no mood to greet the angry faces and, literally and figurative, pitchforks of the ones who thought chasing him was a good idea. Even if the thick woods had slowed him down more than he would have admitted, he was still fast.

     Though, he had to wonder if it was enough after hearing the snap of a branch in front of him.

An upside to being a magical girl, Megumi has found, is being able to sense high amounts of magical energy nearby. Not necessarily magical girls specifically, but she can tell if someone has a lot more energy than the average human being. Such is the case with this mysterious stranger she'd just bumped into. In fact it was such a high amount that she couldn't help but ask.

"...Are you a magical girl?" Could have made a less weird introduction, but she was used to being weird, and figured this wouldn't make much difference.

It was another busy day in the village. With the new influx of passage allowed to humans and other immortals, it meant more work for all the other residents... but also a revenue as well. It opened up trade and other things, but Sakura was one of the ones who was wary of this, but not for herself -- no, it was for her daughter who she was on the way to meet when she caught a familiar scent on the wind.

“Mm? Saya?” It had been some time. She wondered how the she-wolf had been. She needed to pick up Thalassa, but she’d at least go greet her friend ( and hope she fulfilled her promise of sweets! )

Haruhi couldn’t believe what she was seeing. A girl with a plant seemingly growing out of her head and an overall ethereal air to their appearance. Her mouth opened slightly to speak, but her voice caught in her throat. She had so many questions, but none of them seemed like the right one to ask. Almost as if she only had one question before the girl disappeared. Finally she settled on one that was far less extravagant that she intended, “Who are you?”
