Cenred didn’t particularly care for official royal visits, but he knew they were expected of him. Politically, it made sense to gain as many allies as possible - he never knew if Camelot would declare war on him. Besides, there were much worse people to be in the company of than Princess Mithian; at least she was nice to look at. 

“Princess Mithian, a pleasure as always,” he bent to kiss her hand, before offering her his arm. “I take it you had an easy journey?”

            “So they do,” he agreed with a nod. Grey hues flicker up from the fire to her. “Are you asking what mine is?” There’s a grin as he leans back, arms crossing over his chest as he raises a dark brow. “I can’t say it’s as interesting as you might want it to be.” Perhaps he was being too hard on himself, which he had a feeling she might say something along the same lines. “Maybe you should start then, if it’s stories you hope to exchange.”
