The dead bodies at his feet were...mmmm, disturbing. Were they in the same uniform as he was? Well that was...off-putting....

“I’m sure I’ll like him very much when I meet him,” she concluded, albeit with an air of hesitation and a furrowed brow--her words were far more certain than her tone. (Why was he standing to triumphantly over his fallen comrades?)

Anna turned to face her companion and was surprised to recognize him. “Oh! You’re in the painting as well!” Excellent ice breaker. Very charming. Nothing wrong with it at all. Save that she’s definitely staring and actually now less certain than before. “Oh, wait.   I S   that you? It’s not very flattering.”

The male let out a stifled whimper-- shuddering underneath the taller male. What he'd intended to be a fling quickly escalated into something more. How was he to know this man on Risa was an omnipotent being? Someone who sought companionship through the stars. Jacques was a simple entertainer on vacation-- he'd never intended to feel something this intense and yet-- he couldn't help himself. "Harder." He pleaded, hands gripping bare shoulders as he rolled his head back onto the sheets beneath.

Two forces drove him when he met the entertainer: curiosity and playfulness. Terrans were always a game. They were better-natured than quite a large number of species they shared a quadrant with. Not quite as agreeable as Terran canines, perhaps, but certainly better conversationalists than seventy percent of all amoeba and less brass-tacks oriented than Klingons.All in all a pleasant enough little diversion.

But this one was raw. Raw in that senseless, emotional way some Terrans had, torn up and putting a good face on it but still aching somewhere deep. Nice and pliable that way. Easily strung along.Which happened to serve Q’s first force, his curiosity.

Jean-Luc had turned him away on a number of occasions. Feisty, fiery, beautiful Kathy had held out on him and kept him at an arm’s length ever since. But Terran copulation was a fascinating ritual, and one Q was eager to study firsthand.

To guess from the reactions of the little body under him, he was a natural at it.(Of course, he could have told you that.)

Q barked out a laugh and adjusted his grip on Jacques’ hip with one hand, hoping to hold him steadier as he obliged. “You’ve gotten demanding, haven’t you?”

Lee hides his smile and his sass behind one hand, pretending to have gone back to his book for appearance’s sake. It’s been a week of Jacques caterwauling--not singing,  C A T E R W A U L I N G --along with Les Mis, and these petty little vengeances for it (turning down the stereo, skipping to the next track, switching back to radio) have just been nothing short of playful on Lee’s part, always played off as a simple, serious, reserved act to maximize his own ability to concentrate on something else.

This is really why they’re so very lucky Jacques made the first move all those months ago.Lee’s flirting is truly pitiful.
