#mara (oc) #mara's art #i like her hairstyle more now. keeping that braid as homage to her original design #she used to be covered in bandages but she prefers to just cover herself now #otherwise one of her arms would be completely wrapped up #new crystal growth is sensitive tho so she bandages those parts #so for current purposes her bandaging is mostly her torso and upper thighs- which are hidden under her jacket and shift #she has a friend who does her hair every day bc she currently doesnt have the shoulder rotation to do it herself #fancy cane staff hybrid is for help with walking/standing and also contains emergency treatment measures just in vase #case* #anyways i love her. besides the crystals she doesnt have any powers. she's just slowly turning into a gem #holds her gently #if i was more talented and understood how. crystal shading and refraction works in larger swathes of crystal you can see her #internal organs and muscles and blood vessels. but i cant do that. also why she covers the growth
