Rewatching a playthrough of Danganronpa and it actually shocks me how chill Monokuma is. Even when Kyoko goes around stealing his shit and he finds Makoto with it later he's like. Yeah okay. I don't hold it against you or anything it's cool. LMAO

He has every available opportunity to just kill everyone whenever, especially when they break the rules, but he never does. I really love villains who stick to their own rules so it's fair for everyone else :")

talent development plan and ultimate summer camp did this interesting thing of pairing naegi a lot with the v3 cast and specifically tsumugi which I find appropriate for a lot of reasons but primarily because ndrv3 is a love letter to the thematics of danganronpa as a whole in both its textual and metatextual elements and with tsumugi, a character representing all the aspects of danganronpa being fiction, and ndrv3 as a whole being about how fiction can influence reality, finding naegi to be inspiring is really special to me. the textbook definition of a protagonist made to inspire others, and in being so average it means that anyone can be that optimistic source of hope and courage. even if its fictional, the feelings that fiction can inspire are real, so whose to say that it's any less meaningful?

also i bet tsumugi wants to put him in the ultimate real fiction torment nexus and play with him like a doll
