The all consuming ideological drive to be a moron online is probably not healthy.

#could say more but I think this stands on its own #went to max’s blog and there’s a wall of o-k #which is on me because I went to a blog that isn’t on my dash and immediately got confronted with the reason it’s not on my dash #but I think this case is clear cut enough #o-k exists in the same space as a classic internet troll - either genuinely incapable or pretending not to understand any nuance #presumably in order to bait their interlocutors into not conceding points that they otherwise might and looking silly for not #I think anyone who exists primarily to polarise is not worth engaging with - it won’t help your thinking and it won’t change theirs #but the good news is that still leaves a whole bunch of really incredible people who are worth engaging and will engage with good faith #a bunch on this site even!!
