another movie that really really fucks with my head because on the one hand i think matthew and kate have amazing chemistry is how to lose a guy in 10 days and it baffles me that the consistent response from reactors is that either they're both awful or andie is the worst of the two when they're doing the exact same thing: using each other to advance their careers

but then the bet is so imbalanced though because andie is just doing a bunch of random obnoxious things to make be dump her and ben's bet is to make her fall in love with him. so his plan is pick some unsuspecting woman, woo the everloving crap out of her so she falls madly in love and once he has the diamond campaign he wanted dump her outta nowhere i don't know i watch that movie and i'm like nope sorry ben is the most scummy out of the two of them not to mention he has no reason to even make the bet aside from pride and ego whereas andie as misguided as she is for thinking she can just shoehorn politics into a fashion magazine is trying to write about shit she cares about. he is tryna score an ad for diamonds to prove he can and to beat the two women at his job who are actually the right call for it.

I actually haven't seen this movie, because of exactly who was in it, lol. So I'm just gonna have to take your word for it.
