You know . I've mentioned this at some point on here before but I've heard jo was created as a character that's meant to be ThE fEmAlE dean and I really really don't see it.

#like at ALL #what the hell do they have in common besides a dead parent #dean never had someone coddle him or a parent who tried to shelter him #he def never had a stable place to grow up #and jo spends almost all her screen time trying to prove herself and be taken seriously as a skilled hunter #and if there's one thing dean never has to do is try and prove himself like that to anyone #except maybe his dad who. i think might have unrealistic expectations #thoughts #im mad bela was killed off for being disliked #if she was playing rich instead of actually being rich #she would have been a very interesting parallel to dean #something about the early to mid 2000s Strong Girl that i never liked was often the arch was just #desperately trying to prove themself to a man which is why i never liked jo as a love interest #while she constantly fucked him over he never thought bela was weak it was a lot closer to #seeing her as an equal #IDK #obv my end game is a little more male and a lot more devoted to Church of Dean #but like she could have been a great fucking character and im still mad she died
