Family Style #collaborationdinner 🍽 With today’s weather and market cancellation, it was the perfect occasion to sit down to a family style meal, something that’s been harder since being #ontour with our loaded summer #farmersmarket schedule. 🍽 And with cooler weather comes the best excuse to fire up the oven without heating up the house: 🙌 Baked & breaded chicken thighs from @nalliepastures first marinated in our #caramelizedonionandgarlicjelly and @julieshappyhens raw sheep’s milk yogurt then dredge in a special blend using @onemightymill flour and @forkonaroad seasonings. 🍗 Served alongside a salad using our homegrown #victorygarden cucumbers and @heronpondfarm tomato with our #strawberrybalsamicjam and crispy bacon from @lilachedgefarm. 🥓 Then heaped with roasted potatoes & onions from @northofbostonfarm, garlic & green onions from @farmerdavescsa, and mushrooms from @fatmoonmushrooms. 🍄 Then bright and browned fresh zucchini and summer squash from our neighbor (since ours just grow leaves and make flowers) 😂 And lastly a light purple gravy made from saved #duckfat from a previous roast from @julieshappyhens along with our #blueberrybasilhoneyjam to pour over everything (or right into my mouth). 🤤 Now to devour this and get onto movie night! 🤙 #grateful #gratefultastes #artisanalspreadsformorethanjustbreads #lowell #lowellbusiness #thursdayvibes #familydinner #thursdaymotivation #foodie #igers #foodies #massfoodies #massfoodie #bostonfoodie #bostonfoodies #lowellfoodies #pride #hyperlocal #trulylocal #newengland #smallbusiness #entrepreneurlife https://www.instagram.com/p/CR7cHJVMtEP/?utm_medium=tumblr
