Hi! Sorry about the lateness. I forgot the chapter was out, read it, then forgot about it all over again lmao.

Did we get new stuff? Yes. Am I still a bit disappointed? Also yes. While I’m happy to see any progress at all, there’s still more new questions than answers about anything. With the amount of waiting we’ve done, I think my curiosity is a lil beyond peaked and I really really just want some big reveal. Idk if that kind of payoff is coming anytime soon, but for now I’ll just stick along for the ride of impressively slow lore reveals.

I will say that I’m pleasantly surprised by the presence of dinos and angels at the same time. I wonder how connected their species are and what the angel civilization will be like. I also wanna know what was up with the ?dino? that had a staring problem lol

While I’m waiting on even more answers, at least I can continue to appreciate our monthly debriefs :)

That's okay! It happens. The extra time allowed me to make a reaction image for when I learned there were dinosaurs in this chapter.

Truthfully, it wasn't that weird when I finally read it, but when you take a step back and look at it as a whole, it is preeeeeetty weird. To go from a post-apocalyptic world full of vampires to a prehistory world full of angels and dinosaurs is odd. I'll get back to that later though.

Yeah, all very true. I have a similar feeling. This progress is really as slow as possible. You can sum up the entirety of it in two sentences. Yuu and Mika learn that at least one of their memories dates back to the prehistoric era. They encounter angel Mika and follow him to what appears to be a city. 40 pages worth of content for basically that. However! It wasn't the worst chapter!

Yeaaaah. The dinosaurs. I'm still not entirely sure how to feel about it? Again, it feels weird? I wonder if the time period will be relevant at all, or if it's just a fun detail, because for all my wavering, who doesn't like dinosaurs? I have a feeling that dinosaur will just be Mika's pet? But I'd die if that dinosaur was somehow Yuu. Imagine! LOL

Yes! This is something great. I always look forward to these little debriefs every month. Thank you so much for asking every month! I wish I had more to say, but the lack of overall content is a bit hard to talk about without beating a dead horse. I look forward to our next month's debrief!

Okay but I actually loved this chapter? The inclusion of dinosaurs seems absurd, but tbh, it makes perfect sense to me?? If we're going to reference biblical Christian stuff, then why not include something about dinos in there? On top of that, we get to see a cool angel city? Kagami also wasted far less time on the dinosaurs than I would have expected, which is nice.

Now I'm wondering, since Rigr is going into the First's memory, will something weird happen to where they converge with Yuu and Mika, and he runs into them there?
