at the start of s7 everyone starts to call grian 'pesky bird', and that's understandable, hes very pesky and a bird

though unfortunately for scar, he's practically head over heels for grian and keeps stumbling over his words and calling him 'pretty bird' instead

this is an easy write off after the first couple times, but hard to ignore when scar keeps accidentally doing it more and more...

scar definitely sleeps on top of grian's chest sometimes (like a cat) and grian can barely breathe but the number 1 cat rule of if they're laying on you you cannot move them applies to scar in grians mind so he just has to lay there with his very muscular husband happily purring and sleeping on top of him

grian has stolen pretty much all of scars clothes at some point or another (yes even the wizard robes in s7, they work perfectly fine as a dressing gown)

this doesn't upset scar at all BUT he does get grumpy over grian being tiny and so having no clothes to steal from him (grian may or may not have stocked up on oversized jumpers after that, they're comfier and well.. he enjoys seeing scar in them)

scar and grian DEFINITELY use the excuse of "we're married! we share everything now >:)" whenever theyre balantly stealing something

they also turn it into a competition - if one of them steals fron the other, the other has to steal something even more valuable and they keep doing this until it either turns into stealing more silly or cute things (like random things, cuddles from their cats, kisses, 'ive already stolen ur heart' etc) OR theyre stealing very valuable items and theyll.. PROBABLY give back to eachother yk

scar got forced to sleep on the couch (aka his base) for a week after that mending book incident..........

though he still ends up getting a sleepy grian at his door at 3am after hes stayed up fishing, pushing scar to the side so he can fit in the one person bed

with the whole fishing thing, grian's gotten really good at cooking fish in different ways

and so obviously he's been very excitedly cooking for his husband, scar, because hes a cat hybrid, so surely he loves fish! right? .... right?

scar absolutely depises fish, he hates the texture and the taste of it... but he knows that grian struggles with ways of being affectionate with him, and so whats so bad at needing to force down a plate of fish or having to cook himself an extra meal in the middle of the night?

he does really hope this fishing saga ends soon though

scar is usually covered in grians feathers - its like cat fur, any sort of clothes he has always ends up with small red yellow and blue feathers scattered around it

hes always very happy when he finds one, since it makes him think of grian :3

scar can barely even put one layer of nail polish on neatly (grian still loves it regardless) whilst grian can do cool patterns and what not and then they just talk about recent events or about their building plans <3

going abit crazy but:

a 3rd life au where instead of the cactus ring, grian and scar agree to live in this world instead, to make the most of it since they don't know if they'll come back whenever they die

it's a little bit lonely, but they make it work with just having eachother, they build with eachother, they joke with eachother, they live for eachother, when it feels like the lonely world around them is getting too much (too similar to the lonely fields of undead, too similar to the lonesome life of a watcher)

but at some point they accept life as it is, grow old together atop monopoly mountain, maybe they've managed to find another llama, maybe the fauna of the world has started to restore itself overtime

until one day grian wakes up and he finds that the already shallow breathing of his lover beside him is gone, and maybe that's worse than killing him with his bare hands

scar gets a proper burial, of course, the best one grian can form with his shaky, aching hands and frail bones

and after that he decidedly lets himself join scar, wherever he is

but instead of an afterlife, he's greeted with the roof of his season 8 base, in a body that was his long ago and is far more full of life and young than before - it seems he's back on hermitcraft, back with the people who's faces he barely even remembers and he's not sure of their names until he checks the tab list

he goes to check on scar first, his lover for decades in that desert, and well

both of them had talked about what ifs when it came to their memory and it's possible deterioration before, but now that it had happened, grian doesn't know what to do with himself or his lover- friend, now, who doesn't even remember his touch, their shared kisses, their shared history
