A late post for Writers appreciation Day.
@dcbbw you make royals look normal... The DC AU is one of my favourites. I can't stop there though, there is Liara, Riam, Driam, there are so many AU you have written that I love to read, i sort of lost the count. And then you are capable of doing just the opposite when you make us commoners turn into royals with your magic wand ( your Remix series). You are one mature person who the fandom will always look up to.
@alj4890 My fav Dralivia person. It doesn't end there though. "While we are young" brings another level of creativity like we have season 2 of TRR. The way you have made me fall for Emerick and Juliette! There is always so much fluff in your writings i feel a sugar burst after reading them. Keep going. 💖
@phoenixrising0308 your one scene where Jessica was mishandled by one of the guards in the end of TRR1 carved a deep niche in my fluff loving mind. I hate that moment so much for what it did to Jessica yet I love how you have shown the face of the brutal real world to the readers. You are angst machine. Never stop resurrecting phoenix. ❤️🔥
@angelasscribbles rare to find someone writing Leo seriously. Your mind is a mine of fics, neverending with so much to give us. Always.
@flowerpowell my go to person for Drake fics. When i read your fics, it feels like I am in a movie theatre. Just need some popcorns, sir back n enjoy the show, the firecrackers, the oceans of angst added before we reach the paradise. Keep writing!❣️
@ao719 the angst queen as they call you.i haven't enjoyed any crossover as much (i hardly played any more books on choices after trh). But Vancross is mind blowing. It takes herculean efforts to bring all the PB royals and VIPs under one roof. You are doing it and we are reaping the fruits. ❤️

Follower Appreciation Post
Okay, first of all.....
I just want to take a moment to say how much I appreciate all my followers and all the friendships I've made here.
And to show my appreciation, I'm going to open my asks for a little drabble event. Here are the parameters:

I reserve the right to refuse to fulfill any request for any reason (I can't imagine a situation where this would happen, but I'm covering my bases)
I will endeavor to keep my responses to 500 words or less.

Summary: It’s a “Guy’s Weekend” at Drake’s cabin. Poker, drinking, BBQ feast, and no women allowed with a game of “Would You Rather.” It is close to Halloween...what will ensue?!

Word Count: 1278
King Liam Rys, lounging at the lakeside with his closest friends, was enjoying a lazy Saturday afternoon at Drake’s cabin forest retreat after completing an 18-hole golf game in Applewood. Savoury BBQ ribs with later plans for a poker tournament was the plan for the night. While enjoying the guys’ weekend, his queen was attending festivities in Ramsford, making speeches and appearances with Princess Eleanor.
Ellie was excited that she was having a playdate and sleepover with Bartie, with Auntie Savannah and Uncle Bertrand for the evening. When the SUV stopped in front of the Ramsford estate, she gave her mom a hug and kiss and ran towards the front door with her personal guard quickly following.
Bartie opened the door just as Ellie got there and they both rushed past Savannah. Riley started to tear up watching her daughter, asking herself why she was suddenly feeling emotional. She has her suspicions, smiling as she started to plan how she would surprise her husband with the news. Starting to feel hungry, Riley picked up her phone and placed a dinner order with their favorite restaurant. Yes, another sign...she silently chuckled to herself.
At the palace later that evening, Riley awoke from a nap by her cell phone ringing. When she saw Liam was calling, she sat up quickly instantly regretting her quick response.
“Hi Liam!”
“Hello, my love, how are things, my queen?”
“I am tired...I was napping for a bit when I got home from the festival.” She did not mention that she started to also feel nauseous and dizzy. She chose not to disclose that to him...not yet. They were planning to give Ellie a little brother or sister, and she was pleasantly surprised that she may be pregnant so quickly.
Liam playfully teased her, “did you eat too many sweets at the luncheon or have too much apple wine at the orchard festival? Hmmmm???”
“Haha Liam....no, I stuck to sparkling cider!”
“Well, I think you should spoil yourself tonight with takeout, a good movie and stay in bed.”
“Way ahead of you...my extra cheese supreme pizza will be delivered in about 30 minutes.”
“You ordered takeout from my favorite restaurant?”
“Of course, I wish you were here to join me, with Ellie away on a sleepover it’s so quiet here.”
“My love, don’t tempt me...” Liam, Drake, Maxwell, Rashad, and Leo had the weekend planned since last May before Leo moved to Monterisso. “I will be home late tonight.”
Liam felt a pillow hit his head, Drake mischievously grinning at him.
“OK Romeo, it’s poker time,” passing Liam a tumbler of scotch and a cigar.
“I gotta go Riley, I love you.”
“I love you too Liam, have fun.”
Maxwell bounded into the room, “OK men!!! It’s time for ‘Would You Rather’!”
“Maxwell, just sit down and finish the poker game!” Drake be-moans.
Drake, along with Leo and Rashad were sitting around the table waiting for Liam and Maxwell to join them.
“We can play both! I already picked 5 questions for us to draw from.”
“Actually, I wouldn’t mind a round or two” Rashad grinned.
“Ok, but I get to start off by challenging my little bro” Leo announces.
“....Max, bring that bottle of whiskey and some glasses before you sit down,” Drake sighs.
Liam joins the group and sets down the bowl with the game questions. Leo sits up quickly and mixes up the contents and draws one of the papers.
“Ok Liam, would you rather... confess to cheating on your partner or catch your partner cheating 0n you?” When Leo starts laughing, Liam shoots him a ‘side eye’ and says confidently, “no to both! Why would I ever want to cheat on Riley? To think that Riley would ever betray me...would destroy me.”
Leo pipes up, “soooo, then you would rather confess to cheating? You must pick one.”
“Yeah...I guess so.” Liam shrugs and shakes his head picking the next question from the bowl.
“Your turn Leo, would you rather be gassy on a first date or your wedding night? Speaking from experience, it will happen on both!” Liam laughs along with the others, including Leo.
Smiling widely, Leo says “obviously...the wedding night! The wife would already be committed to me by the marriage vows. Rashad snorts and evilly cackles, “I am sure Madeleine would appreciate it!”
Leo rolls his eyes, “that’s ancient history my friend; here is a picture of my lady.” Leo proudly holds his phone showing a picture of a busty brunette in a bikini.
“Ok, I’m next!” Maxwell selects a question for Rashad. “Would you rather know when you are going to die or how you are going to die?
“That is an easy one! I want to know when. There is no way I want to know how!
“So, let’s say you were told you would die tonight? Wouldn’t you want to know how it happens so you could prevent it from happening?” Maxwell shudders...
Drake scoffs, “What’s the point, Beaumont? You're going to die anyways, why torture yourself?
“Okay smartass, let me pick your question,” Rashad announces. “Go right ahead, I am done!”
Drake stands up, grabbing a bottle of whiskey and walks out the door.
“He needs to get laid!” Leo laughs.
The remaining four re-start the poker game as they wait for Drake to return. An hour passes, and they are still waiting.
“I think it's time to get Drake back in here,” Liam steps outside, closing the door behind him.
After 20 minutes go by, Liam returns into the cabin, Drake trailing behind him.
“So, what’s up Drake? I picked a question for you,” Rashad announces.
“Let’s call it a night,” Liam shrugs. I will explain things later.

On the drive back to the palace, Liam pulls out his phone to text his friends.
“Drake asked me to convey his apologies for the abrupt end to our night. While he was outside the cabin, he found a note outside in his mailbox from his grandmother who passed last Christmas.”
"He has always felt guilty that he never got the opportunity to say goodbye to her. That, along with the whiskey put him over the edge."
Liam sent the message off, noticing he had an unopened note from Riley.
“Just in case you are bored at the party...here is a little something I picked up.”

Author Update
Hello, Tumblr! Some of you know the details and particulars of my life at the moment but some of you don’t know what’s going on other than “life.”
II have been dealing with a LOT lately between work and home, and it’s beginning to affect my physical health (I’ve lost 29 pounds, complete exhaustion, and swear to God I’m growing a cyst on my eye) and my mental (forgetfulness, no motivation for anything, and work productivity is not what it used to be).
My solace, my grounding, my happy place is in writing, but I really haven’t done any of that lately. I did start some new stories and tried to finish up others; I have them in my head but the sheer amount of effort to break open the laptop and putting words to page is almost overwhelming most days.
Maybe it’s stress, perhaps a mild form of depression to help me cope with what my life has become now … I don’t know. What I do know is, what this latest chapter of my life is giving me things I definitely did not sign up for. While I have accepted that this chapter is not about Robin, rather care of and service to others … I did not expect the struggles of all types I am facing and the lack of help and support.
I just want a day. A day to sleep in, to not shower and stay half-naked in bed, to read, write, cook a meal without someone over my shoulder … to have privacy and quiet and no obligations. Just one day.
And it’s too much to ask for.
I want a paycheck that isn’t gone two days after I get it because I am now doing for at least three people what I used to do for one, and on half the salary.
I’m tired of my plans … my simple as fuck plans … being put on the backburner for someone else’s emergency.
I’m tired of worrying about what the hell is gonna pop off next.
I’m tired of seeing (and everyone else seeing it as well) people fall off physically and mentally, but I’m the one who has to pick up the pieces.
I’m tired of being the lowest paid in the office but doing everyone’s job.
I can’t even self-care because I’m constantly broke and always on someone else’s schedule. I shouldn’t have to be sick to be able to sleep in without guilt and reprimand.
I’m tired of being unable to break down, because if I break down … I may not want to be put back together.
So this is my rant, my vent, my therapy.
I called out from work today; going to try to get a nap in, and possibly some writing (@peonierose sent a fun ask), but no guarantees.
I’m just struggling to get through another 24 hours.

Round Robin Interest Post
I'm putting together a list of people interested in either writing or reading a round robin story.
Basically, one writer will start a story, and then pass it to the next. You have no idea what the next writer is going to do with it, and that's half the fun!

For the writer’s appreciation day ❣️
@dcbbw ~ You write incredible stories that are outside of the box and, dare I say, brave in a sense because they may not be considered the norm or something you would typically see but you take them on and add your flair and you do it beautifully. You put to question everything we think we know about these characters and make us love ones we maybe would not. And you always leave wanting more. It’s the reason I keep coming back to your work time and time again.
@ao719 ~ I find myself in awe of how you put together such compelling storylines. The effort that you put into telling a story and being sure of connecting the dots truly shines in your works. Your love and admiration for Liam and your understanding of who he is as a character is unmatched. And your angst. They do not call you the queen of angst for nothing. You can shatter readers hearts but you always put them back together.
@queenrileyrose ~ I never would have thought about Leo and Riley together but you write them so wonderfully and make them work together so incredibly well. Sometimes it’s hard after reading one of your stories to envision either of them with anyone else. It’s a pairing that I can’t get enough of and I always look forward to seeing what scenarios you’ll come up with next for them. Your otp has become one of my otps now because of your wonderful works.
@kat-tia801 ~ You have this wonderful ability to write each character with the admiration they all deserve and it’s one of my favorite things about your writing. You are like a Jack of all trades, able to write one pairing and turn around and write another pairing from the same book with the same love and respect. I love the scenarios and au’s you put them in also. I’m so hoping for your return and looking forward to more of your beautiful stories.
@txemrn ~ I love that you push the boundaries of your characters and take them places some people would not. And you do it wonderfully. You have them face true struggles and the imagery you put into your words make the readers feel that they are there watching it all play out.

One Million Words
Guys! Guys! Guys!
I just passed one million words posted to Tumblr!! I'm not counting words written. I'm not counting my short stories, flash fiction, poetry, novels in progress, etc. that live on other websites (or just on my laptop). I'm not counting my fanfic stuff that's partially written sitting in a WIP folder. I'm only counting chapters completed and posted on Tumbler.
I just posted chapter 9 of Unexpected, officially hitting the one-million-word mark. 1,001,092 to be exact.
I'm stupidly excited and proud of myself for this. I've been on here for 28 months. By word count, I've posted the equivalent of between fourteen to seventeen novels here. 😧That's like six books a year.
Forgive my babbling but I am ridiculously chuffed about this!!! Thank you all for reading, commenting and generally tolerating me for the last twenty-eight months. 😆

New Blogs
@angelasscribbles here. It's been over a month and Tumblr seems to be doing fuck all about fixing my blog issues. Every time I log in the first thing I see is the Tumblr-supported porn on the Tumblr live icons, yet my blog continues to be marked as explicit. Makes so much sense.
I have read horror stories from others that took months or years to get unblocked. Some never have. I really did consider just leaving. But honestly, I don't want to. If I'm done posting fanfiction for the friends and supporters I've met here, then I'm just done posting fanfiction. I do have my original work to get back to. Some day. But probably not this day lol.
The thought of moving two years worth of content is daunting. And likely the moment I finish such a huge project, they'll fix it. So I'm not sure I'm ready to give up all hope just yet. However, I did decide to go ahead and move some of my smaller series and most of my newer ones over.
At the very least I can post the new stuff from the new blogs without it being blocked. And I had fun creating them and reorganizing my stuff.
There's not a lot on them yet, but I will be posting from these blogs moving forward:
