My first ever pageant I have had in HK. This is organizer by SFESC community. No quota, once practice but the category have : Presentation ( represent each regional group) *** I represent BiCol region Talent *** I danced the pandanggong sa tubig in modern way with the music of let it go bicol version. *** Q&A The question are given by the judges on the spot. Question : What is the greatest character of yours that you can share to your child. My answer : The best character I have that O could share to mu child is having a big faith into our Lord God.Because if you have faith, you can learn to love yourself,if you love yourself ,you will love anyone and anything within this world that Lord created for us. My costume skirt and hat are made from dried stem of sedges ( a weed found in a rice field) courtesy of my ate gemma ,yeah the girl with me.in picture. As per adjudicator the winner just got 1 point higher than I. We don't have runner up. But I bag the photogenic award were voted by the judges prior of the event. #waybakwednesday #proudbicolana #sfescmoments

Golden Farewell
Kan hapon, nagduman na-man kami sa Paracale, sarong bayan sa Camarines Norte, kung saen nahiling mi kun pano maggibo nin ginto. Tigtukduan kami kan mga tawong yaon duman. Sa katotoohan, ini an samuyang kaenot-enotan na makahiling nin gapo na may ginto. Ipinanao pa ninda an mga kaperasong ginto sa mga kaibahan ming estudyante.
(In the afternoon, we went to the gold-producing facility in Paracale – one of the towns in Camarines Norte - and have some sort of lectures on how to make gold. It’s the first time for the three of us to see an ore of gold. They even gave some students a piece of that rock.)

Pagkatapos sadto, hinatagan kami oras na maglakaw-lakaw sa bayan kan Paracale, an iba pinili na magsimba na lamang. San alas sais nin banggi, nagpabalik na kami sa bus namon para makauli na sa UPD. An field trip namon ay maurag nan maski namatean mi na an pagal pagkaaga na nakabalik kami sa campus, maogma man kami. <3
(After that, we were given time to stroll around the town of Paracale, while others chosen to attend mass. At 6pm we headed back to our bus to go back to UPD. The field trip has been awesome and though we were exhausted the next morning when we arrived at the campus, we were happy.<3)

Daet Municipal Tour
Pagkatapos ming magpamahaw sa hotel kan ikaduwang aldaw, tig-tawan kami nin limang oras para makalibot sa sentro kan Daet, an ikaduwang bayan na kinadto nyamo sa samuyang tour . Nagbakal kami nin pasalubong sa Nene’s pasalubong na harani sa mall kan LCC. Nagduman pa kami sa mga lugar na makasaysayan arog nin Pabico Ancestral Home (sa daing-palad sarado an saiyang galeriya), an unang momumento ni Rizal, monument kan mga martir nin Camarines Norte, asin an Daet Provincial Capitol. Bag-o kami nag-uli sa bagasbas nag-agi anay kami sa Graceland, saro sa pinakabistong kakanan sa Bicol.
(After our breakfast at the hotel on the second day, we were given 5-hour free time to explore the municipality of Daet, the second town we visited in our tour. We went to “centro” and bought some goodies at Nene’s pasalubong near the LCC mall. We also visited some of Daet’s historical places like Pabico Ancestral Home (but unfortunately the gallery was closed), Dr. Jose Rizal’s First Monument, Monument of Martyrs of Camarines Norte, and Daet Provincial Capitol. Before we went back to Bagasbas, we bought lunch at Bicol's fastfood chain, Graceland.

Refreshing Welcome
San nakaagi na Marso 7, 2014, an mga magayon asin maogmang estudyante ni Ms. Ros de Vera ay nagduman sa exciting na byahe sa saro sa pinakamagagayon na rehiyon sa bansa, an Bicol.
(Last March 7, 2014, the attractive and happy class of Ms. Ros De Vera went on an exciting trip to one of the most beautiful regions in country, BICOL.)
Bag-o an sampulong byahe na oras namun pakadto sa Camarines Norte naghirilingan kami sa hagyanan sin Palma Hall. Naghali kami sin alas dyes sin banggi. Nakaabot kami sa probinsya sin alas syete trenta sin aga nan nagpamahaw kami sa Jolibee. Nagkadto kami sa Vinzons nan nagsakay kami sa banca pakadto sa isla san Calaguas. Pakatapos nin mga duwang oras sin maogma nan makahadlok na sakay sa banca, uminabot man kami sa dagat. Apat kaoras man kami naglangoy-langoy sa pino asin maputi na baybay sa dagat. Igwang giniribong actibidades an samuyang klase arog kan volleyball, Frisbee, o naglakat-lakat sa may dagat. Mga alas kuatro-trenta sin hapon handa na kami mag-uli sa among hotel sa Bagasbas na nangiristum na.
(Before our 10-hour bus ride to Camarines Norte we had assembled at the Palma Hall’s steps. We left UPD at 10 o’clock in the evening. We arrived at the province at 7:30 in the morning where we had breakfast at Jolibee. We proceeded to Vinzons for our boat ride to Calaguas islands. After about two hours of exhilarating yet terrifying boat ride, we finally really reached the beach. We spent around four hours swimming at the fine white-sand beach. The class engaged in different activities like volleyball, Frisbee or just frolicking on the beach. By around 4:30pm we were ready to go back to our hotel in Bagasbas with our newly acquired tan.)
Handa na kami magpahingalo san gab-I sa Bagasbas Lighthouse Hotel pagkatapos si adlaw na puno nin adventure asin kaogmahan.
(We were more than ready to retire for the night at Bagasbas Lighthouse Hotel after a day full of adventure and fun.)
