did someone say sunset curve headcanons?

-luke definitely met bobby first. bobby then met reggie because bobby needed a math tutor (book smart but no common sense reggie rights). when bobby introduced luke to reggie, luke was so excited that they had someone who could play bass but then was like fuck we need a drummer.

-they cycled through 2 drummers until this new kid showed up and reggie talked his ear off for 20 minutes straight. after that him and alex were best friends (ralex bestie rights). about a day later a shy quiet alex admitted to bobby, luke and reggie that he played drums.

-a couple of days later the boys were sitting in the mercer’s basement watching in awe as alex absolutely killed it on the drums

-reggie and bobby were absolutely the dry sarcastic humor of sunset curve until alex came out of his shell and the rest of the boys were shocked at how sassy and sarcastic he was.

-bobby often felt out of place amongst the group despite having known luke and reggie longer. but reggie always made sure to make them feel included (emotionally intelligent reggie rights)

-oop time for special interests! luke hated high school but he fucking loved english, especially greek classics. luke was pretty smart but he just thought music was more important. alex loved dancing. he grew up taking his little sister to ballet practice and tried to memorize the dance moves so he could learn too. reggie was insanely smart. he was a math and science whiz and spent a lot of time tutoring the boys when they needed help. bobby loved psychology and learning how the brain worked. if he hadn’t gotten into music, he would’ve been a therapist

-luke was born in Canada and lived there until he was 7. he grew speaking french as his first language. the reason him and bobby became friends was because luke was getting picked on for his accent and bobby stood up for him

-alex grew up speaking german and english because both of his parents were german. english is technically his first language but he tends to speak german when he’s anxious or upset or on a rare occasion, extremely excited.

-bobby speaks tagalog since his whole family filipino but they only knows conversational things. they aren’t fluent

-reggie grew up with selective mutism so he learned sign language and kept up with it after the selective mutism because less of a problem

-alex came out to reggie first and broke down when reggie responded “rad! i think it’s totally rad that you’re gay” alex was so relieved that he cried in reggie’s arms for an hour

-but bobby was the first person alex told when alex started crushing on luke

-lalex friends to lovers to exes to friends supremacy

-boggie mutual pining supremacy

-the necklace bobby wears was a collective gift from the boys on his 18th birthday

-bobby is the oldest, then reggie then alex then luke
