HEALING WOUNDS ka'am c Quaritch
HEALING MOMENT KA-AM x QUARITCH
Quaritch got hurt on an expedition and Na'vi have special healing ways.. so as he comes in hurt but not like dying at all. just having some bigger wounds
Ka'am would be called, as he perhaps had a colleague of Quaritch look out for him while they'd go as they are still in the phase of 'is there trust or not'
"You. Blue monkey" one of the colleagues calling for Ka'am as he'd glare a little while approaching "Do you na'vi have special ways to get rid of wounds like these? They sting bad, and we're low on medical supplies" Lyle said as the colonel entered the room, but his tank top is quite drenched in blood "I know a thing or two-" "Well good, then you will help the colonel. He's the most wounded, even though he says he's not feeling any pain" one of quaritch' friends would say as Quaritch would be like 'shut up' before Ka'am would follow the colonel into this more calm room without others.. As Quaritch would just slowly sit down.
"What happened even.. it seems either a Thanator or either an viperwolf got a hold of you-" "Nah.. It was nothing. You should've seen the other one, barely held it together as I knocked it out" Quaritch bragged, as Ka'am grabbed some things like medicine he happened to grab a few days ago when they were in pandora. Knowing which leaves were helpful and what not. Luckily for quaritch he had them by hand. "Where did you go." Ka'am realized they might've ignored his advice, becoming a little threatening in his own way. "Watch your tone Ka-. Whatever. Its not for you to decide." "I told you not to go there, even for local na'vi that place is hard to get through." "What would you have done then?" quaritch asked annoyed, hearing Ka'am getting more annoyed back. "I would've STAYED away like I told you." as quaritch would groan. "If only you'd trust me" Ka'am whispered in na'vi, making Quaritch respond for he in fact understood and heard that "well excuse me for protecting myself since everyone, meaning all Na'vi's has tried to kill me so FAR" Quaritch got stingy.. Making Ka'am be silent as he eventually grabbed a seat behind Quaritch. "Besides, what if you take a run. Put us in a trap, we don't know you" "you barely give me a chance either, so thats your loss" Ka'am said rather dissapointed, almost angry at this point. He already wrnt along and didny try to escape, so why did Quaritch had to say that. "do not put such a tone towards me boy" Quaritch said threatening, standing up as he turned towards Ka'am who as well had his ears back out of feeling angry.. A slight hiss was hearable, but it didnt come out as harsh as it looked like. "Do you want my help. Or not. By all means, be my guest if you want to keep on bleeding" Ka'am said threatening as he leaned closer slowly, both furious at each other as Quaritch wanted to say no so bad right now... but he did feel his tank too sunken in his blood due to the deep wounds that still need to be cared for.
As their silence was big, Quaritch at last would glare over his shoulder as he sat back down, making Ka'am raise his head a little, wondering if he should still help.. but the man needed it, despite he was extremely stubborn to even accept it. "just be silent while I'll try to help you. Do not wince, or move.. And while you're at it, try and pretend you appreciate it" Ka'am said really pissed, before hearing this slight grunt come from the man, but more he didnt say.. Possibly for the better for the both.. Ka'am slowly put his mind more into a meditative trance, pushing the man's tank top up so it could be taken off, before he'd watch the wounds. They really were deep, but Quaritch wasnt aware that navi bodies can have special abilities to heal, when you know how to make it activate it.. Softly pushing Quaritch's braid over his shoulder, Ka'am grabbed some of the leaves, making them almost a liquid while massaging it into his hands.. Doing some sort of tribal ritual, he went around the wounds with the paint that he created of the leaves he had. Almost making circles around them. Speaking soft Na'vi.. Quaritch at first scoffed, rolling his eyes as he wanted to mock so bad. "So first we'll sing, and then.. you're going to de-flee me as well like you native monkeys do" Quaritch said, but Ka'am didnt reply.. He just focused, as much as he wanted to out his anger.. The man needed healing, whether he deserved it or not. Ka'am was a man of his word. As the colonel dared to mock some more, Ka'am hit him quite firm against his back, making him silent.. Before he continued. As Ka'am continued with the markings on the man's back.. He softly pushed his hands upon his back, gently going over the man's back, shoulders.. until his lower back.. Softly humming something he couldnt follow in na'vi. Eventually after a few specific touches, Ka'am inhaled strong before pushing his hand exactly on the man's spine, almost like tsaheylu, saying something strong in Na'vi before Quaritch felt a strong relief, almost as if the pain was almost gone. Before he realized, patterns on his skin started glowing softly. Like waves in the sea. Quaritch had never seen it happen before, especially to himself, which had made him silent. ka'am was in the middle of his ritual, so focused that he wouldnt be disturbed. He kept mumbling things in what seemed ancient Na'vi almost.. Before feeling that the man went over the thick wounds that.. barely seemed to be there again. Ka'am rubbed some more of the special medicine he made from the leaves onto the wounds, that were still there, but the deep ones into his skin had turned into small scratches that still hurt but nothing major anymore. As the silence would hit, and Ka'am would take his hand back, seperating himself from Quaritch' body completely, the man felt this healing and waves of energy leave him.. Making him for once not say anything back, as he stood up and turned around towards Ka'am who had already grabbed everything together.. "W.. What did you-" "Dont wash for a day as those wounds need all the medicine they can take to close. Dont let that ego of yours as well rip open the wounds by moving too much" the man said, before glaring at him. "Oh yeah and next time when you'll be so ungrateful and rather mocking. do not dare to ask me nor threaten me for help again" Ka'am said incredibly done, grabbing his things and leaving to his own room. Ka'am had learned a thing or two from the Tsahik, which was her mother. It wasnt common for anyone but that Tsahik to do such things.. But Ka'am wasnt with the tribe right now, so he made a few excuses through the time there.
While Quaritch did know his behavior was uncalled for, feeling his wounds were helped in an almost surreal way by Ka'am, especially for someone who put much effort into helping.. He knew something more was under that man's anger. and it was about to break worse..

A little introduction of what Ka'am would be. (and a fun piece of story attached to it as well💕 Thank you guys for reading my stuff, I've been writing since 2013 and had a HUGE stop for almost 2 years due to mental difficulties, so sometimes my writing is rusty and perhaps not as 'flowy' or rather smooth as others can, but it makes me SO happy people read our fanfics😭 Thank you beyond words!
As a little funfact, Ka'am supposedly would've been the new leader, the Olo'eyktan. But things didnt always go as planned. In fact, he got pushed to the side, each opportunity. Ka'am is the youngest sibling in the family. After Tsu'teys death.. He was to be the new leader in order, but as Neytiri bonded with jake, Jake got the place to be the Olo'eyktan. Pushing Ka'am far to the side. You could see Ka'am kind off like Scar in the lion king. Staying in the shadows, hidden while the man is dangerous due to the unappreciation and being in his own, figuring ways that others dont do. His way of dressing and handling his hair showed a bit of a rogue look. He too would be a bad influence at times without anyone knowing its him nor people figuring it out. Such as telling the younger kids from Jake and Neytiri that they shouldnt go to dangerous places.. Which made them all the more eager to do the exact opposite. He may even be the one to tell the kids to go to the battlefield, since only 'true and brave' warriors would go there. Ka'am himself was a rebel.. He shaped himself after being pushed to the side day after day.. But it made him strong, extremely dangerous.. Hidden, uncatchable, never noticed, like a python about to bite while watching his prey unnoticed. Jake did not agree with his behavior, but he didnt have much of a say about it. He knew from Neytiri the man was hard to talk to, especially since it was her younger brother. They werent far apart time wise, as Jake at first thought he was in fact the older one.. May it be due to the man's secretive ways of teaching himself.. Making him wise as the attention never was aimed upon him. And while he felt like Ka'am had never done anything wrong in ways that couldnt be excused, he just kept an eye on the man, always having felt a slight tension. Yet.. It was never proved that Ka'am couldnt stand jake.. So Neytiri made her husband stop to wander.. Which was perfect for Ka'am.
Even Lo'ak looks up to Ka'am alot.. seeing he does the things na'vi dont tell him what to do.. Like riding a thanator, or use specific venom that shouldnt even be touched by Na'vi hands to kill prey even faster. Ka'am was a determined man, and due he did things so precise, he might've even be the reason why lo'ak is such a rebel.. Noticing Neteyam got all the attention, becoming this perfect soldier.. The oldest brother. Making Lo'ak always stand behind him.. And Ka'am.. Was close to such a comparison as well. Neytiri was the older sister, and she so happened to be with this 'toruk makto'.. Pushing Ka'am far to the side despite he was promised and trained all his life to be a powerful leader.. Nonetheless, Ka'am had accepted his faith, but it made his thinking alot more dark.. Worse than anyone would even assume.
"uncle!!" Tuk called as Lo'ak and her approached the man, watching Ka'am who sat on his ikran, just being 'back up' in case they needed it.. which showed again how much of a priority he was. Ka'am just rolled his eyes as he didnt like to be called that way, and Lo'ak could tell. "Tuk.. You know he doesnt like to be called like that. You should know by now" Lo'ak said as he would approach Ka'am first. "Sorry sir, she's still having to remember" he said as Ka'am smirked hiddenly, hearing Lo'ak showed the same respect like he did to his father.. maybe a slightly more. "So.. What are the plans of the young warrior today" Ka'am said as he'd look down at them first, before getting off the ikran.. Walking a little as Lo'ak followed him right away. "Havent decided yet.. Is there anything you know off, or something you think I can take?" Lo'ak said rather determined, making Ka'am smirk gently. "My my Lo'ak. You are having the energy today" Ka'am said for Lo'ak liked to walk next to Ka'am alot. Hear his stories despite jake did not agree with it.. which made his younger brother all the more curious to hear more.. "Oh, speaking off. we heard of this.. battlefield a bit further away, far into the woods. Do you know about it" Lo'ak asked as he stopped walking, which made Ka'am realize exactly what he meant.. Stepping two steps further before he'd raise his head, let his mind wander before turning to the two kids. "Oh I know the place." the man sounded tricky, making Lo'ak get more eager. "Do you know exactly where its located?" Lo'ak kept on asking, for Ka'am's mind worked fast.. "No.. No Lo'ak" "But sir" "As much as I like you Lo'ak" the man said as a soft tricky smile appeared, before getting far more serious "there are things there that no one should ever see. There is a reason Sully does tell you NEVER to go there. Only the most profound and well trained na'vi dare or are allowed to go. Its full of the past.. Some things might even still go off" Ka'am said as he crossed his arms, his tail swooping slowly. "and what if you go with us?" Lo'ak said, making Ka'am tild his head. "So I'd get yelled at by your father?" The man said for Lo'ak was thinking of solutions. "But no one needs to know right. It would be just a quick look, please Ka'am" The young na'vi said for Ka'am hummed before approaching him and holding him a bit as his back. "I can tell you'll be.. or even already are a determined hunter lo'ak. But this is too risky, even for you. I'm sorry, I cant risk it, even despite my rather rebellious background" Ka'am said tricky, making Lo'ak nod. "Come tuk" he said as he respected Ka'am's words, wandering off as Ka'am raised his head with a more darkened look.. Feeling that was the easiest lure one could think off.
"Okay tuk, you stay here, I'm gonna go" Lo'ak said for Tuk sighed. "Lo'ak. What did he say.. Its too dangerous" Tuk said softly for Lo'ak rolled his eyes. "thats what they told Ka'am as well when he tamed the Thanator.. Yet all he got were the scar on his ear and eyebrow. Things like that will always be unaccepted unless you prove them wrong and he proved them wrong. common" Lo'ak said as Kiri and Spider ran into them.. Of course now wanting to come too. "Well.. if you're going, I wanna go too. I can be strong and- " Tuk said as Lo'ak sighed almosy in a groan. "Tuk?!" "I'll tell mom if you dont let me come" she said while pointing her tongue out, making them eventually sneak away.. all of them, towards that battlefield. Ka'am noticed the smaller kids eventually dissapear, laughing low in an almost hum once, before he'd dissapear into the shadows.. Curious what could possibly happen.

Trying a way out
Back with a follow up on the last story!
Working a few days on this. Feeling a little insecure and this whole week already has been a big bumpy ride with hospital visits and getting all kinds of tests :') So huzzah.. But tonight I managed to write most down that I hope to be happy with.. Especially the last bits i'm very stoked about, but I hope you guys enjoy! Featuring Ka'amxquaritch, lyle and ter'ran in there and a bit more!
As Quaritch followed Ka'am right behind him, he had quickly noticed that Ka'am wasnt showing everything he could. The man could sense despite Ka'am was well at hiding in his surroundings and could easily move around.. He would use some type of animal, but he was walking at this rate.. making him a little suspicious.
The second Quaritch sensed something was off as he was very experienced, he slowed down his pace, as surprisingly, Ka'am was walking rather fast.. Which threw him off. "Whats the rush.." He said rather challenging, making Ka'am glare as he wasnt a fan of how the man spoke to him. Ignoring the fact the man called him out somewhat, Ka'am continued to confidently walk to a specific place, being determined as he already was a step ahead, but Quaritch sensed it.. But at this rate, couldnt exactly sense what would occur.. For Ka'am was rather mysterious to say the least, unlike something he had experienced yet.
Ka'am had sent off his thanator in secret to alert he wasnt coming back alone.. Naraya, who noticed the massive animal approach without Ka'am, made them aware of what he had planned, so they went into the direction the thanator looked at.. being trained so well that he could help him out.. "Its our Olo'eyktan. We need to go to the deeps" She said in navi' for everyone except Ter'ran followed.. Reason was, the man ended up tied up himself mentally. Ka'am didnt trust any of it, and Naraya knew Ka'am would dissapprove, so by that.. She decided Ter'ran shouldnt join them on whatever Ka'am managed to catch this time. Ontop of that.. after noticing he had let Lyle out of his robes.. She personally had put him back.. "Awe common. You're not letting me fight a woman are you?" were his final last words before Naraya showed he should've kept his mouth shut. Having been in some kind of prison at their place, in which she had the keys, she glared at Ter'ran, who she surprisingly hadnt locked up as well. That was Ka'am's decision to make. "You. Stay, and dont move" Naraya said with a low tongue, making Ter'ran glare. "You're not next In command. I am" Ter'ran said as she glared. "But I do not hide secrets from him. You'll pay for it. If you'll try and get yourself out of this with him, I'll personally put an arrow through both your chests" She said threatening before leaving.. Making Ter'ran realize he indeed did not have an army behind him.. He had his love, Lyle, but as soon as Ka'am would be back, he most likely would have to pay for his sins. "Where the hell are they going?" Lyle said as he was sitting on the ground pissed, locked in some special metal container they had made themselves from scraps. He originally thought he could break it.. But the clan knew how to work with it. "The deeps is a specific place we go to, in secret. Its far away from everything else.. Usually a luring place" Ter'ran said without much thought, making Lyle frown. "You mean like a meetup place, or 'we're catching prey' kinda place" Lyle asked pretty damn smart, not being second in command for no reason.. making Ter'ran think it over. "Can be both.." he said, making Lyle sit on his ass in the cell he was stuck. "How long will they be gone for?" Lyle kept thinking on a way to break out, especially since his ego was hurt for the fact a female threw him in the cell he was stuck in.. "Not long enough.." Ter'ran said a sigh.. Looking at the man before he'd look at their entrance, sensing he'd gotten himself in trouble already.
As Ka'am was walking to the deeps upfront, Quaritch still followed, but frowning as he kept eyes around his surroundings. He felt watched again, not nearly as bad as in the beginning when Ka'am stared at him.. But he did have the feeling he wasnt alone.. "I can sense you're not a chatty kinda guy.. But the way you're silent aint so cosy when walking through the woods" the man said a little sarcastic, keeping an eye on him for he noticed Ka'am hadnt said a word for a long while.. Feeling like the man was thinking ten steps ahead, and Quaritch wanted to be on that same level.. "Why should I be talking to a stubborn alien type navi, to lower myself to your kind?" Ka'am started speaking as he could sense his clan was around.. So was his thanator. "Getting comfortable are we now" Quaritch replied rather annoyed, hearing how he spoke to him.. "I'd watch your-" Before Quaritch could say anything, he heard and noticed several Na'vi run up to him, but the man came prepared.. Fighting back as he was about to grab his guns, which was exactly what Ka'am wanted to happen.. to seem the 'hero', he raised his hand, and made one call which made them stop. "Stop" was all he said.. Making some of his clan frown. "But.. Our mighty leader, why should we-" one of his clan members said in na'vi, but Quaritch who had his knife ready in his hand, glared at all of them for his ears twitched, listening as he knew some Na'vi. "Let him follow us, do not hurt him.. He's here to get his 'friend' back" Ka'am said with disgust.. Making Quaritch glare at all of them before they backed off. "Follow us" Ka'am said in english, making Quaritch slowly follow while keeping his eyes out.. 'thats odd.. I felt like it was a trap for me to walk into' Quaritch glared as he thoight along. 'quite a protective clan..' he kept on thinking. It made sense his clan wanted to protect his leader, but why did ka'am himself come out on the first place if his men and women could do it.. thats what he thought. While keeping an eye on everything, he just followed along.. eventually noticing more thicker jungle that he couldnt remember as much as he wanted to.
"Our great leader.. Why arent we taking him down-" "Do not question him.. Cant you learn" Naraya interupted one of the clan members who wanted to ask Ka'am why he was doing what he did.. It was disrespectful to look at it like that.. Making Ka'am rather comfortable to know Naraya knew how to train the others to even respect him more. It were small things, but thats what he appreciated.
Eventually arriving at their secret hideout, Quaritch was guarded by a few, entering the area for he watched around. It was on the inside of a massive tree.. Something of what he saw on screens before, but seeing it in person was something else. Eventually being inside, seeing the structure, which seemed far different than hometree.. He noticed some of the clan members slowly backing off for Ka'am told them to.. "So now what.." Quaritch said a little pissed for being baby sitted all the time, making Ka'am raise his head once in a direction for Quaritch to follow while Ka'am walked behind him slowly, already having made hidden hand signals to get some stronger clan members nearby..
"Colonel-" Lyle immediately called for Quaritch entered the specific room. "Thank christ.. How did you get in here. Where's the rest?" Lyle asked as he was so relieved his leader was around, making Quaritch glare a little. "You had to go out there by yourself.. And look what happened" Quaritch said pissed, making him look at the cell before he sensed Ka'am look at Quaritch again.. "I didnt know i'd be tackled by several navi.. Give this man a break will you" Lyle said with a glare back, despite he was happy to see Quaritch. "Why didnt you get tackled?" Lyle asked for Quaritch turned to Ka'am this time, but before he could say anything, Ka'am only nodded his head once to see five men out of the shadows tackle Quaritch down.. Making him hiss and growl.. "Son of a bitch-" he only said, making Ka'am stand from a distance still "You really thought I'd just let you wander around here in my territory. Not on my watch" Ka'am backstabbed Quaritch just like that for his own good, using him just a little bit for ka'am pointed that he didnt want the man to be in a cell as well just like Lyle.. No.. He wanted the man stuck to a pole, away from Lyle just to be sure.. "So it all was a damn trick huh.. make it seem i could just walk into here, you sparing me when the group arrived." Quaritch said very angry.. groaning as he was tied up very tight.. Making him save his energy by just sitting, stuck with his hands behind his back at the pole.. Yet surprisingly, seeing that Ka'am pointed at Ter'ran, to be tied up as well. "Put him in the cell.." Ka'am said as he didnt even look back at Quaritch, leaving the room for Ter'ran tried to fight his way out of it "NO- Let me explain-" Ter'ran said strong, but despite his beefy structure, there was no way 4 navi men could be stopped by him on his own..
despite Ter'ran and ka'am's past.. He did not tolerate whatever he had done before. It may lessen later on, but for now, as Ter'ran sunk through, he was tied up in a cell, next to his love, but apart.
As some silence and time had passed.. Quaritch finally caught up on remembering what Ka'am said, having focused on everything else but that. "thanks alot Wainfleet" Quaritch said rather threatening for he turned to his cell with his eyes. "care to explain what you fucked around with" the man said as Lyle got offended. "HEY DONT LOOK AT ME. YOU WANT TO BRING THIS UP NOW?! . Not my fault you have a soft spot for them-" Lyle daringly said so, making Quaritch get real angry. "You shut your mouth -" "Speak for yourself." Lyle glared.. Having a good ol' small fight before Lyle was too exhausted after a while despite his ego was immense.. Ending it up by falling asleep in his cell.. For Ter'ran abd him leaned against the same wall from each side.. Having closure in some way.. Making Quaritch attentively watch everything around him for he could easily stay up for hours on end..
Hour after hour, a new clan member would watch everyone, for they'd take turns.. Quaritch glared at each and everyone of them.. Before he realized an entire night passed.. No food, no water had been given, which made Quaritch realize this was a serious business. Being a real prisoner in a.. what seemed different clan than before.. Not part of hometree or the omatikayan.. Letting it sink in while his brain kept on going. After looking down at his watch, hoping the signal would be strong enough for the recoms to find them.. He sighed to notice the odd secret place they were at, was too much under the ground to be able to receive or give signal. Ka'am possibly thought of each thing, and Quaritch seemed to recognize the pattern quite fast. 'great..' he thought for a bit, at first not allowing him to sleep.. But eventually as several hours passed, he felt like he had to. No sunlight came through the place, so the idea of day and night was hard to feel at all... Making everyone feel weaker who wasnt used to staying so in the dark.
Slowly waking up with a groan.. noticing everyone else was still knocked out as well.. He noticed most of his weaponry had sneakily been taken off him.. Possibly when he was too exhausted to even feel anything in his deep sleep. Quaritch almost felt a little offended people had come near to him.. But for now, he had to figure a way to get out..
He sighed deeply before noticing a clan member sat up, having done his turn.. As they almost seemed annoyed they had to watch.. "Why do we have to watch the prisoners all the time.. We usually dont have to this strictly" one said to the other in na'vi, but Quaritch, who had been learning na'vi through time to be ahead of the others, picked up a thing or two. "dont ask me.. If you feel bold enough, ask the leader" the other replied in na'vi, making Quaritch narrow his eyes a bit. Not having had any food or water was starting to hurt a little, but thanks to the navi body, he was able to endure much more than a human could.. Especially in these conditions.. Just as the two navi were being quite daring in what they were speaking off, one of the two suddenly froze to notice ka'am come out of the shadows. Exhaling his green smoke, the other who now had caught up on the fact Ka'am was so close, swallowed and turned to him as well.. "Master.. I-".. Ka'am's eyes spoke sentences at times, glaring at the two. 'Big words on my ways of work. You should be thankful to be here..' his eyes said, for the two already almost begged for mercy. "No food for a week.. May that bestow your loyalty somewhere else." Ka'am said threatening, for he just degraded the two to different work.. But instead of calling a new clan member to sit and watch, he decided to sit there himself for a while.
Walking inside the room, he passed the cells, seeing Ter'ran asleep.. but leaned against the same wall that the alien laid. Raising his head first out of disgust, wanting to pull them apart despite they both were asleep.. and Ter'ran seemed to hold Lyle's hand through the cell bars.. Seeming very attached to say the least. making him glare before sitting down at a rather suitable place for himself. Deciding to not tear them apart.. Which was a surprising move.
Quaritch, who somehow was the first to sense the man's intentions, watched this rather disgusted glare when he got rid of the guards.. and watched how Ter'ran and Lyle showed signs of attachment.. He assumed he'd either wake them and demand them to sit apart, or even pull Ter'ran away, but the colonel noticed a confused , almost surprised stance from Ka'am who almost hissed at it before sitting down. "Seems you do have a bit of empathy" Quaritch decided to risk it all, speaking to Ka'am who immediately turned to Quaritch, with a deadly glare that said it all. "Do you dare to claim what my intentions are. What do you seem to assume what I intend?" The man said rather offended, Smoking some of the powerful stuff as he held it in his hand before putting it to the side, letting the intense smoke go out of his nostrills before standing up. "People must've backstabbed you often" Quaritch said with narrowed eyes, sensing the man has endured pain.. Especially for he saw the big 'glow up' of what he used to be.. Being in someway cocky and daring, he watched Ka'am approach him, as he smoothly pulled out his knife, deciding to kneel infront of the man who was still stuck at a pole, sitting. "I do not need.. Or seek for your sympathy" Ka'am said threatening, pushing the tip of his knife onto the bottom of Quaritch's face, between his neck and chin. "my brother was like that you know. Me being the oldest, hard to be noticed.. Unseen by the greater part" Quaritch said as he felt the tip of the knife now make a slight cut into his skin, pushing it more up. Quaritch almost laughed low, almost out of own disgust too, but his curiosity was too big. This man showed no mercy.. But neither did himself. "So whats your story.. What do you want" Quaritch said as he groaned from the pain of the knife lightly, but it once again did not stop him.
"What made you be shaped like this in a span of 16 years. Do you want to be feared. Seen.. Respected?" Quaritch asked as he gave hints he remembered the man 100% at this rate.. Which threw Ka'am off slightly.. He too felt the tension of that specific detail. "i'd watch your tongue. You think I'd spare you, just because you've seen me once. Why should you make a difference" Ka'am said, speaking more than he'd ever done in the time he's been in this way of behaving.. Meanwhile, Ka'am decided to push the knife even higher up, making Quaritch look up at the man while he left a deeper cut that kept ongoing. "What about your group huh.. I have the feeling respect is what you most desire. They dont serve you the way you'd want do they" Quaritch said as he groaned feeling that dagger stick more and more into his skin. "They fear me. Just like you should, but no one has deserved my respect just yet." Ka'am suddenly said, making a point that Quaritch really was playing with fire.. But the man, sensed something else "Not one.." Quaritch only said, looking at the man with a raised head himself despite the dagger helped.. just as Quaritch said so, Ka'am pulled the knife away.. In a firm movement, while he knew exactly what the man referred to.. The moment Quaritch had let Ka'am go all those years ago, had made Ka'am so curious to the humans. Ontop of that, he did only respect the one man that he hadnt even spoken with, with words. Just eyes.. Even having guarded the area around the old shack and what seemed to have been the man's skeleton.. for no one but himself was allowed to be near it. It was a natural reaction of Ka'am.. And only realized now this specific man so happened to have made an impact on him.
Out of frustration, Ka'am glared before stabbing the wooden pole Quaritch was stuck at, right above his head.. Before silence hit and glared at the colonel.. "Why." Ka'am eventually said, having let go of the knife while it was an inch away from Quaritch's head.. before their eyes just met again. "Why what" Quaritch decided to play the tricky game, while trying to figure out this mysterious man in full detail, having such a close encounter. For Ka'am had a deep silent eye contact with the colonel, he soon realized, despire Quaritch might've had a head start on this.. Like an advantage on the fact he had saved Ka'am.. He noticed the man couldnt even explain himself why he did it, making Ka'am raise his head as he stood up.. Just trying to think on this..
Quaritch in the meantime had picked up that his.. Previous self, inside of the deep woods was protected like sacred grounds, by someone who so happened to stand infront of him. Both of them had preferences and ways they couldnt explain, but of course it was somehow attached to one another.. More deep than one wanted to admit. Quaritch watched Ka'am think.. see what he could do with it, for he himself did too. 'I know you've already given me your respect.. Why else would you defend a place as sacred ground that so happened to be my deathbed.' Quaritch as he looked powerful, thinkinh wisely. "You can gain my respect.. If your approach would be a bit different than what you're attempting right now" Quaritch decided to once again take all risks.. Seeing Ka'am took a while before he turned to him, just knowing his rather complicated mind was swirling around. "It would come a long way, if I wouldnt be stuck here as well" Quaritch said, trying to find a way out of this, but as his defense mechanism was screaming 'get the hell out of this the second you can'.. His curiosity seemed to be bigger, making him doubt himself that if he would get out of this.. Would he leave. Would be attack Ka'am.. Or instead go a different route that he normally wouldnt do as a marine, who was usually chained to his routines.. His orders.
'You think I'm a fool..' Ka'am thought as he watched the man, but now, it seemed the man was almost able to read him. 'No..' Quaritch eyes just said back.. Making Ka'am look up and down at the man's entire eyes and body.. Contemplating what to do.. Especiallt since this somehow hit him very personally.. and hated the fact somehow that there were two others in the same room who could potentially listen.. Quaritch caught up on that.. Noticing how Ka'am for a bit glared at the cells.. "You can chain me up all you want somewhere else.. If that would mean we could continue our conversation, and see where we can meet in the middle." Quaritch said a little as bluff, and see where he could get himself.. For Ka'am watched the cells more before glaring back at Quaritch, who alqays seemed to be.. almost fond of watching those deadly eyes.. After a few minutes of standing, Ka'am narrowed his eyes before pulling the dagger out of the wood that was still above Quaritch' head.. Before he cut open the robes that were holding Quaritch to the pole.. 'If you dare to run away, I will not hesitate to kill you' Ka'am glared with his eyes, seeing Quaritch exhale out of relief for his wrists and arms that had been stuck behind his back for so long.. Before slowly standing up.. Noticing Ka'am eyes who gave the warning, before he even noticed himself and ka'am happened to be on the same height... What more of a match would you think would be possible. 'move.' Ka'am said in a gesture, watching Quaritch walk infront of him now as the man said where to go.. Keeping a continous eye on him.. Before Quaritch seemed to be guarded to a different room.. It seemed personal of Ka'am, but he didnt say a word yet. All he could possibly guess it by, was the scent of that powerful smoke he has seen him take. As bad as it was for some, Quaritch himself used to smoke often.. And somehow this very intriguing and possible dangerous stuff for most seemed to have attracted his curiosity even more. most navi wouldnt be able to take it, or had to get used to it for a while.. But Quaritch, by the scent alone was drawn by it. Especially the mix of Ka'am's scent and the smoke, it was the first thing in a long while that kept lingering...

STANDING HIS GROUND
I've been a little chaotic and posted some random ones inbetween, but this one follows up from the story HEALING WOUNDS (link up here) story! This story features Ka'am, Recom Quaritch and now a little more in the spotlight, Lyle Wainfleet! Sorry for the lil randomness as i'll try my best to show the follow ups on some stories! of course if you've already seen/read that one, enjoy this follow up💕 Again a story I'm actually REALLY happy about!) I have this AU with the fantastic @niku30 💕__________
As Ka'am tried to go back to his room after being so angry, he bumped into one of the friends of Quaritch, laughing "Watch where you're going monkey man." he said with a scoff as the others laughed that were around.. Making Ka'am glare in a way he hadnt shown before, his tail seemed to behave pissed too. "Oh no he seems angry, did I step on your tail on accident?" all the men started mocking.. Making Ka'am snap with the remainder anger he had already build up. "Back.. Up, or I'll be uneasy on you" Ka'am said in na'vi, not even wanting to speak english as they all laughed. "He said something about stepping back didnt he?" Lyle said, one of the closest friends of Quaritch, as the one who bumped into him laugh hummed, being a complete asshole. "oho... Does our native want to make it go this far that you want to get a taste of us marines? speak all you want kid.. you dont make a chance" He said as Ka'am's ears flattened. That was his last straw. "you know what.. Lets fight, lets see how far you come" he switched to english, making them all laugh. "Come and try then" Lyle said as he reached his arms out to the side to invite Ka'am to try and make the first hit..
"Not here.. You dont want this area to be broken do you. Would be a shame to pick you up in pieces" Ka'am said shamelessly, dangerous and threatening.. For the all laughed again. "I think here its just fine native. Lets see what you have in store, wouldnt want to hurt that face, or do I" the marine said as Ka'am smirked once before turning into the most threatening na'vi they'd seen so far. Ka'am with his bare hands started hitting the man firmly, to the point more than 3 others started to try and stop Ka'am, but they all got hit firmly, pushed into the metal, having to pick themselves up the ground, but they too knew how to fight and it wouldnt stop. From taking their weaponry and slamming them in the face, till at last getting a hold of his knife that he had stuck to his leg in case of emegencies, Ka'am threatened to hurt them all.. "im sick of being disrespected and looked at. degraded. So this is just a small taste of what that feels like" the man said in na'vi. His pupils were decreased, almost like a snake. it didnt take long before Quaritch heard anything happening, from the middle of the place they were staying, making him walk as fast as possible to see the mayhem in the middle of the hallway. "Oh i'm going to kill your ass kid" Lyle that started the whole fight said who was so furious, yet already hurt, bruises all over, for Ka'am hissed sharply "We're just getting started, alien" the man said as threatening as a na'vi could.. He had a nosebleed and some spots that hurt since these men and female knew how to fight, but he was far from done. Quaritch got inbetween, looking at both men as he held his hands out in a way to say stop. But as he looked at Ka'am who was ready to kill at this point, he noticed a look.. So familair upon Ka'am's face, which definitely put a cold chill down his spine.
In the act itself of getting inbetween them, he tried to sort it out "THATS enough" Quaritch said strong as he got inbetween the two for his voice echoed. "He BECAME FERAL Colonel-" "You lured that out Lyle" "Wh- WHAT?!" "Not a word-" "BUT COLONEL-" "I SAID ENOUGH" Quaritch said very rough almost, seeing Lyle while trying to find his balance stand back up and step backwards. Slowly moving away as everyone else did too. "And you.. you hand that to me right now." Quaritch slowly said, seeing this feral side of Ka'am still show. He stood there, like a python, ready to attack while he held his own knife in his hand.. But the look on his face, made things unsettling, and quaritch rememberd it oddly enough.. Ka'am was more calm compared to Neytiri when it came to being feral. He was more precise, for neytiri would become a real animal when being furious or scared.. Ka'am on the other hand, was like a posionous animal.. staring at you before he'd within the blink would kill. "Ka'am." It was the first time Quaritch said his name correct and somewhat respectful in na'vi.. Making the man almost hiss as his ears were back. "I'm gonna need you to give that to me, and slowly walk to my room to cool down" Quaritch said, for he kept looking the man right in the eyes. Not even a twitch was made on Ka'am's side, before adjusting the grip on his knife, almost unpredictable before throwing it right next to Lyle's head who was about to leave as an extra warning. Ka'am glared at everyone excluding the colonel, before he'd walk away to Quaritch's room.. his tail said enough, it was swooshing almost stressed, strict and pissed..
Quaritch looked at Lyle before pulling the knife out of the wall. He didnt even say anything to Lyle anymore, and slowly followed with heavy steps to where Quaritch told Ka'am to go.
Ka'am would stand in the room with his arms crossed, his back to the entrance where Quaritch would go through. The colonel entered and softly closed the door, letting the silence hit before he'd started their conversation.
"I feel like this became a bigger thing than it should be. The way you looked at Lyle.. Like a predator to prey, thats a lot of anger right there. You gave them quite the damn hits right there.. Care to elaborate?" Quaritch said, as in the back of his mind he finally figured the connection of that look Ka'am had.. It was near to his own worst enemy.. "i dont owe you an explanation" Ka'am said in na'vi.. Furious, as he didnt look Quaritch in the eyes. "there is something behind it. I could tell.. I've had people like you in my group, as they let their old sore wounds flow for too long, it drives them mad to the point they attack others who dont have anything to do with it" Quaritch explained, for he watched Ka'am who still did not look him in the eyes. "Listen.. I dont want to handle you as a prisoner" Quaritch said, making Ka'am finally look at him.. Less pleasant. "really? Thats the biggest lie i've heard so far. You come close to it" Ka'am kept talking in Na'vi, making Quaritch eventually try his best. "no mutual respect or appreciation for me actually putting time and effort into this all. I teach you all, and thats what I get in return" Ka'am said in na'vi, pointing at his wounds, it wasnt much.. but he meant the fact Lyle and the others did pick fights with him. Quaritch got the hint.. As he stood up. Walking close to Ka'am who had his head raised, his neck was tightened of being furious. Ka'am was expecting the worst or another big disrespectful approach as he looked away from the colonel.
But instead, Quaritch handed the man his knife back, with a specific look he hadnt seen before. Ka'am dared to thrn to him to finally look him in the eyes, seeing how he confidently wanted to hand the knife back, knowing he could use it. Aside that, he pulled off the tracker from the man's shoulder. Deactivating it. "Fine then.. I hear you. I will take your word once. But if you break your loyalty to me. I will have to make you a prisoner, with or without your approval" Quaritch said clear and even in na'vi. Showing some slight mutual appreciation to let Ka'am know he was heard. But quaritch was a man lf his words too. He'll give this chance once.. once broken.. It would be game over.
Ka'am looked at the man for awhile, before his posture and entire tensity changed the second he heard those words in Na'vi. He was taken serious for once, despite it was a huge risk with Quaritch, as the man was deadly. You never can tell his intentions.. He knew.. But yet, he couldnt describe what he felt. As his ears went from flat to more upwards, Ka'am slowly took the knife from Quaritch who held it out at all times. "So we're good?" Quaritch said a bit tricky, making Ka'am look at him with more respect too.. "Any new plans you need any help with" "In fact I do" Quaritch replied back in english, eager to get back to work with a big improvement it seemed.. Realizing this might be the biggest improvement so far.. And something tells him too, that there is a reason why Ka'am sticks around, despite he can become angry with the way he was handled until now. Sooner or later he'll figure it out, but for now, this was a plus for them.

A WARNING
This is a story, of what could possibly be the first interactions/first impressions of Ka'am to Quaritch. Not nessesairy directly, but here we go👁👄👁
Ka'am so happened to hear outsiders go up to the ikrans.. Having heard sightings were confirmed of Navi in cameo gear.. Without much of an approval from jake, not that he ever did at all.. Considering the man was a bit of a rogue.. He ended up finding the men, all together, with a human. "Spider..." Ka'am whispered displeased, letting his ikran land and clinge onto a flying island, away from the men, but he had perfect sight on them. Hiding in the shadows, he overheard them from a distance. in the meantime he prepared his bow and arrow, inhaling as he put it ready to shoot. He inhaled sharp, aiming on the man that wanted to try and trenqualize an ikran.. Not only cheating, but wanting to get an ikran like that, was a red flag. They definitely werent actual na'vi when it came to their minds.. Perhaps their bodies were. But alas..
Ka'am breathed in with a lot of focus, aiming on Quaritch, but noticed due Spider who laughed at him, the man seemed to change his mind to the approach of the ikran. He now was determined to do it the correct way, making Ka'am focus as best as he could, having a perfect aim at him. His fingers almost felt like loosing its grip on the arrow, though as a big surprise, a sudden seed from Eywa softly made its way to Ka'am's arrow.. Resting upon it as he frowned deeply. Out of slight rebellious behavior, he decided to point the arrow at a different man, as to a big surprise, the seed of eywa did not return back in his arrow.. The slight check made Ka'am narrow his eyes before pointing it back at Quaritch, having his bow again in the perfect position, but exactly as he wanted to shoot again.. The seed came back on the arrow.. Almost making Ka'am growl out of frustration before he pulled his arrow back. He never missed aim so far, but this time.. Eywa told him what he should snd shouldnt do. Eywa was always clear with her intentions; and it seemed she did not agree with the kill Ka'am would make. This was the first time Ka'am had this happen to him.. Which made him fold his ears. It was just confusing at this point, but as he instead now watched that leader of their group tame his own ikran, and fall off the cliff while he was at it.. Ka'am raised his head. Ka'am now did assume that Eywa told him she'd take care of it. Which is why he did not have to kill him. But out of a huge surprise, the now bragging man in the air who flew back up out of the clouds, yelling at his crew mates out of being proud he managed, was still alive.. Ka'am got silent. The man rose out of the air, seeing eywa approved of this. Why did eywa stop him from killing this man.. What was the reason. Out of frustration and mere confusion, Ka'am decided to move more into the shadows before the man he tried to kill in the first place would spot him, now that he managed to have his own ikran.
Ka'am's mind was conflicted.. He did want to report to the tribe for he watched the cameo avatars just tame their ikrans one by one.. But as he was still trying to make up his mind, his communication cord with the tribe woke him out of his thoughts. "Ka'am.. Is there anything out there. Are they there.. "A tribe part called for Ka'am watched the whole scenery near him.. Breathing firm out of uncertainty with himself. If eywa convinced him not to kill that one man, how would she react if he'd report that they were here.. Meaning part of his tribe would come and try to kill them as well. A silence would hit him, before frowning but answering. "Nothing in the hallelujah mountains.. I've double checked" He said in na'vi, being freed from his duties of the day now.
"This man has to be a threat, everyone says so.. So why.."he whispered, grabbing his bow tight in a fist.. before putting it away again. He doubted and had the tendency to still shoot, but he didnt want to refuse eywa's word twice, that could be bad karma for him if he'd be disloyal or just not listened to her in general. The signs eywa showed to him werent often, which made him doubt alot at this point. Why now...
watching quaritch land with the ikran and talk to the others, bragging before Ka'am gets the notice he might has to move to stay unseen.. he let his ikran with himself still on it, fall silently backwards, as right after Quaritch would look around and frown at the spot Ka'am used to be, but left right on time. "Hurry up people. You never know whats watching you." the man said like a leader, made this arm movement of 'come on you slugs' before the other avatars would try and obtain their ikran, but not as smooth as he would.
Ka'am secluded himself from the rest after returning back to their base, having so many questions.. Why in the moment that he could've taken him out, would eywa tell him different. This man had bad intentions? right, was he wrong.. before he knew it himself, he decided to go out for night duty out of will.. as his mind wouldnt let it go.

PET PEEVES
I'm BACK! With a follow up on "STARED AT".
https://www.tumblr.com/emmacreatures/712528431623110656/stared-at
I'll possibly do more of these follow ups, not sure how many will follow!! Featuring Ka'am, mainly Lyle and Ter'ran as well, HOPE YOU ENJOY✨ after this, a lot more will happen in detail with Ka'am x quaritch 👁👄👁
For the recoms headed back to their base.. Prager frowned as he watched it all happen along mansk and everyone else.. "Where is lyle going?" Zdog asked as she chewed her gun, almost rolling eyes for Quaritch kept moving back, being a bit pissed at Lyle who of course had to start an argument with him. "possibly butting heads with his own ego. he'll be back in a bit after he's cooled off" Quaritch said as he was more focused on which eyes he had just met rather than all that happened with his best friend. As they kept moving back, Mansk, who always was the silent guy, was rather intrigued by the whole occurence with the natives. "How did you figure that we couldnt go any further" He asked, carrying the large weaponry like it was easy, for Quaritch sighed. Mansk didnt annoy him at all, but the man had his thoughts elsewhere, which made his ego pop up. "Any great minded man could tell that it was a trap if we interacted more. Now come on. We have to be back. Ardmore already made an exception for us to leave after the dark" he said, telling Zdog as well to get Lyle back or at least keep an eye on him..
Meanwhile as everyone else made it back, Quaritch changed his shirt to a new one before he finally knew for sure who he met as his mind was spiraling. Deep inside he knew it from the start, but he had to be sure. It was the damn Na'vi the RDA had captured years ago.. He was younger back in the day, chained.. For Parker wanted answers as the rebellious navi was attacked, in which most of his possessions were taken from him. Quaritch rememberd loud and clear the navi hadnt said a word to him, and neither had he.. But the eye contact they made was special to say the least. He sensed almost that the navi wouldnt attack him if it came to him. Throigh the days that Ka'am was stuck there, the two hadnt said a single word, but it felt like they communicated whenever their eyes locked. Of course in that time, Quaritch was weary around them.. By all means he'd try to kill them on sight if they did too.. But for some odd reason.. That one na'vi almost changed his view. Not to all of them. Just to that one..
While Quaritch was in thoughts, Alexander entered the room, seeing the man was thinking. "You're alright colonel? something we need to be informed about as well?" he asked respectfully, making Quaritch snap out of his thoughts.. "Yeah I'm fine. Thanks for your concern. You want to sit at a table, talk about our feelings?" the man said rather sarcastically, for he was a little vulnerable mentally due to the sudden similarity he met. Just as the man wanted to stop their conversation, Zdawg entered the room, running. "Colonel. Its lyle, he's nowhere near".
a few hours later~
"Jesus.. My head" Lyle groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, noticing he was in a.. Where the hell was he, he thought. Things seemed rather old.. There was some metal here and there.. it loojed like an old dead tree, being on the inside, something way smaller than what they shot down years ago back when they were human. The second Lyle became more conscious, the man tried to get out of whatever he was stuck with.. It wasnt like a normal rope. It hurt against the skin too.. 'son of a bitch..' he thought, looking around as he eventually noticed some navi looking at him from a distance, but they easily did their own thing. "Am I not too amusing for you guys.." he said with a glare, feeling like the fact the focus was not on him while he was captured hurt his damn ego. "I wouldnt worry about that" A female navi passed him while speaking in na'vi, holding a spear in her hand as she glared. "You think I'm supposed to follow that dumbnuts? We'll hurt you one way or another.. Just you wait when my buddies come around. You'll get your ass whooped-" Lyle said unfiltered, making the female hiss at him before wanting to step closer "Naraya." Ka'am called for the women raised her head, hissing before stepping back as her spicy energy definitely was one of the largest.. "I want to rip his lungs out" she said in na'vi, glaring for she listened.. Making the rest of the clan approach him.. "So who tf are you huh.. You're their puppeteer?" Lyle said towards Ka'am who was slowly coming out of the shadows, exhaling as smoke came out of his nose and mouth.. Before walking around the man who was tied up.
"It seems this alien has proved us wrong.. You can be more bald than a newborn, they have more hair than him" Ka'am said in Na'vi as everyone else laughed low, for Ka'am stayed deadly serious. Meanwhile as this was happening, the one usually having the biggest mouth of all, Ter'ran, was rather hidden away, laughing along but not meaning it.. and Ka'am could immediately sense it.. Being the leader that he was. "I dont know what the fuck you're saying but I feel like it aint cool bruh. Dare to speak to me in english, I bet you dont, you dick" Lyle had a big mouth.. Which wasnt the smartest thing in the world.. especially towards that one na'vi. But Ka'am could understand exactly what he was saying, and as he previously expected. This man was nowhere near respectful. Ka'am eventually kneeled down close, pulling out a dagger as he held it against lyle's neck. "We dont lower ourselves to your level." Ka'am said in english for once as his brain wanted to say much worse, even making Lyle uncomfortable.. And swallow to see these devillish eyes. Being quite silent for just a little bit.. "You think you scare me.. Think again" Lyle said a little hesitant, making Ka'am put a cut right at his throat as the man hissed.. But Ter'ran couldnt help but wince the second it was happening.. Ka'am sensed Ter'ran seemed uptight.. or merely worried, making him stand up after having kneeled down to Lyle to give him the warning.. Which made him go dig deeper.. "Naraya, Tsu'to-" "No, I can do it" Ter'ran suddenly said, knowing where this could go.. He knew Ka'am wanted Lyle to get some rather.. Brutal treatment to teach the man some manners and give him another time out. And its exactly what Ka'am didnt hope for. Because now, the secret was out for him already... Ter'ran fell through. "Let us alone" Ka'am said as he raised his head, seeing everyone left for Ter'ran swallowed.
The second Lyle was captured.. Ter'ran was dying inside to realize it was the man he met years ago, and lost for a brief time. Oh.. How badly ter'ran wanted to have him for himself the second he even heard his dumb talking that Lyle would praise himself for. But he had to pretend they had no connection.. Or ka'am would fry him up.. Or well, that was his thought. He couldnt tell if Lyle pretended as well, or couldnt recognize the man just yet, but at the exact moment where Ter'ran volunteered, Lyle's brain started to swirl as well.. Putting the puzzle together.
All Ka'am did at this point is look directly at Ter'ran, stepping closer as his tail was swooshing rather trickily. He could sense the man tried to lie, and it only took one single difference in behavior for Ka'am to notice something was going on. "You never volunteer for anything." Ka'am said with a voice so low, making Ter'ran almost turn away as he knew he was in trouble. The second Lyle noticed the discomfort of Ter'ran, realizing it has to be him.. he tried to figure what he could do. "who tf do you think you are huh??? Handling your own group like slaves?" Lyle started to yell, trying to get loose.. For Ka'am turned to Lyle with deadly eyes as a final warning.. Lyle was lucky he was still alive. But in that exact second, Ter'ran nonverbally signaled to Lyle in a 'plz dont' as a warning for him trying to protect Lyle from doing anything further.. and himself, But of course.. Lyle being lyle.. "Tf you doing.. waving and shit, you think I can follow??" he said casually with a frown, But that exact sign was caught by Ka'am again, grabbing Ter'ran's arm he narrowed his eyes.
Staring at him, Ter'ran knew already this was going to become a nightmare. Ka'am let go of his arm, slowly walking away, inbetween Lyle and Ter'ran. As the silence was so bad.. It cut wounds. "You know each other" He said, as their entire conversation had been in na'vi. as Ter'ran closed his eyes, pushing them closed as he swallowed, trying to patch up his fallthrough.. "And you'd assume I wouldnt notice?" Ka'am said tricky, for Ter'ran tried to stand strong, still 'willingly' wanting to pretend he would torture Lyle which is what Ka'am wanted to 'plan'. "I dont know what you speak off" Ter'ran dared to say... Making Ka'am lure it out more as he raised his head, being already dissapointed his friend wouldnt be honest.. But he seemed so weakened by the bald alien. "Mmm.." Ka'am only led out, seeming rather 'easy' about this all the sudden. "Alive or dead.. They'll come for him. Considering he doesnt want to speak what we want to hear or keep his mouth shut, I've had enough" Ka'am said casual, being done with the behavior Lyle showed.. But especially wanting to get Ter'ran to spit it out, how he knows this damn alien. Without much of a warning, Ka'am snapped his fingers, for Lyle's ears all the sudden perked to hear a rather... Unpleasant noise coming closer. "who the fuck do you think you are? Like WHO do you think you- Oh fuck me-" Lyle all the sudden said to suddenly hear heavy thuds coming closer, a rawr so raw it made his heart sink.
The thanator came out of the shadows, growling at Lyle for it lifted its odd 'cups' at the front of its muzzle, knowing its about to attack. "How about we save you the trouble of having to do that work" Ka'am said with a threatening voice towards Ter'ran, meaning that Ter'ran no longer would have to volunteer to hurt Lyle as a prisoner.. But this was far worse, Ka'am was about to feed lyle to his thanator, knowing he has no mercy. "A little help here.." Lyle whispered, swallowing as his words had definitely lessened.. He knew this beast could not be stopped.. "you know my petpeeves Ter'ran. Some you always seem to pull out.. But you know what I hate most." Ka'am said as the thanator came closer and closer, about to bite Lyle, making an end to it. "Disloyalty. Liars." he said as the silence hit.. Before he continued, seeing Ter'ran was fully focused on Lyle and the thanator. Glaring with his eyes towards his friend. "but since you're not like those.. You wouldnt mind to get rid of him, do you now" Ka'am said before Lyle couldnt hold it back anymore.. Seeing the life flash before his eyes "TER'RAN" He yelled out of fear, making Ter'ran break. "PLEASE STOP- STOP I BEG YOU. I'M A LIAR. I ADMIT, BUT DO NOT KILL HIM, ANYTHING BUT HIM" Ter'ran yelled with the fear in his voice, making Ka'am who glared at him.. Snort before snapping his fingers to make the Thanator stop right before Lyle, the drool of the animal was sliding an inch away from the recom.
If it had been a tenth of a second longer, it was game over but Ka'am had complete control, and knew exactly what to do. Ter'ran was the more emotional of the two.. As the man's tears were sliding down, the thought of having lost Lyle again felt like a stab theough his heart.. Without holding himself back this time, allowing his emotions to come through, Ter'ran ran up to Lyle the second the thanator was told to back off, holding Lyle's head as his tears kept flowing down.. But he knew now.. He was in deep trouble. Having had a moment to look at Lyle, Ter'ran slowly dared to turn to Ka'am, who glared with fury at the man. 'and here I thought I could rely on you' ka'am thought as he kept thinking.. He wanted to know how they knew each other, but right as he saw their connection, he rememberd the own eyes he met back in the deep forest of pandora. The eyes were so familair, but he hadnt given it much space to process, as it made its own entrance now.. Just by the thought of that, he called his thanator to himself, for it hissed loudly at Ter'ran and Lyle together now.. Before walking up to Ka'am. Having told the others to keep a close eye on them, almost wanting to tie Ter'ran up as well.. Despite he was part of their clan. The behavior he showed, felt like betrayal, but Ka'am was smart enough to figure something major was behind this. How could he know this alien, that they had never seen before... He decided to go back out there, see if those aliens were around. Normally he wouldnt do this by himself but let his clan do it for him.. But something peaked his curiosity again. He wanted to know how the eyes he saw were so familair as well as all seemed to pile up, being something huge. Something he wanted to know right away. His fascination to humans had never failed him, but this.. This was a bigger mystery he wanted to know.. How it was possible or why he even thought it. sooner or later he'd figure, or at least get told that.. The human he got in contact with so close.. Has returned in a new life and skin.. Back on pandora. But how..
