TMayNT Day 29: Favourite alternative outfit or design.
Ok how could I not draw apocalypse Leo? I love the outfits the boys wear but future Leo is just so cool. Then I had this idea. Took a little longer but I'm already behind anyway. I will finish this challenge. Below is the background cause I'm pretty happy with it and the 30 sec speedpaint cause I thought that would be fun.
Here’re some car sketches for my idea for the results of an experiment gone wrong inspired by none other than ✨ my unfortunate periodic sleep paralysis ✨
In my concept, he needs to have physical contact with something (or someone) he has a strong connection to in order to stay tethered and not dissociate into plumes of smoke.
Fortunately - or unfortunately for the receiving end - he has the perfect companion for the job as he figures out just what he is following the disaster. Is he a ghost, demon, ungodly plague upon his loved ones? Or is his spirit merely disconnected from a vessel? And what happened to his inhabitable body?
As he uncovers the current status of himself, he notices an immense infatuation with his tether; he chalks it up to an unpleasant effect of the experiment, certainly nothing more. But as time draws on, it becomes all the more apparent that something is awry.
The need to connected with you, more than what is necessary to stay grounded, the ache in the collection of smoke that would be his chest, the way that the amount of smoke he’s comprised of has been slowly deteriorating - all of it unravels in needless complexity.
So he just needs to work out why his soul is detached from his body, fix that minor problem without panicking you while balancing his need for research with your life, figure out how and why he’s so attached to you, nip that fruitless endeavor in the bud, and complete all of these tasks in a manner timely enough to not entirely fade away.
Totally manageable for a teenaged mutant ninja-genius.
(any name suggestions for this concept are MORE than welcome - there will be more of him)
An assortment of sexy sketches, featuring @r3xcorvus's birdy boy Payne and their take on Mona!
Did you know hares change their coat color with the seasons? You can learn more about Toshiko The Hare and her extremely sad and wet husband in Him & Hare!
HEEYYY!! Do you think we'll get a season 3 for rottmnt?😭😭
I believe that is up to us. The only thing big corporations care about is money. If we continue to push and support Rise by watching the show through the official means, by buying merchandise, and by keeping the show trending, then Nickelodeon might realize that this show can turn them a profit.
That's how we get a season 3.
I've seen it happen with Futurama, Family Guy, Samurai Jack, and many others. It can happen with Rise too if we put in the work.
But I believe Ron said it best in his latest Q&A:
(Edit: The second question was from @starry-eyed-adam!!!)
In the original timeline, Kraang won because Leo interfered with getting the key. In the new timeline, Leo won because Kraang dodged Leo's sword instead of stopping it. Their respective cockiness made them lose.
The fact that the world (and history itself) was dependent on who was going to fuck up at the last second between these two prideful bastards is just wild to me.
I think if rise continued it would have been really funny/interesting for Raph and Leo to feel inferior to Mikey and Donnie.
Cause like Mikey and Donnie are the best at what they do. Mikey is the greatest mystic warrior and Donnie is the smartest man alive. Splinters favorite is Donnie and Drax favorite is Mikey. They both work amazing as team and can basically synchronize when it comes to fighting.
Like it would be a great way to give more attention to Donnie and Mikey's character while also exploring a new challenge for Raph and Leo's character.
The threat of the others’ capability hung thickly in the air.
One false move could forfeit all hard-earned profit, but one clever bid could ensure opulence far beyond comprehension.
Unsteadily, a hand pushed forward its bet in this pseudo-game of poker.
Such exchanges had been instituted to ensure each of the kids got the treats they desired following Halloween, but the diplomatic relations quickly turned into a competition as to which one of them could pillage the best candy.
Mikey kept a straight face as he retracted his digits, having placed a mystery flavored sucker in the center of the circle formed by him and his siblings.
The youngest attempted to gauge his choice based on his family’s reactions.
April and Raph, like how they always were during negotiations, had friendly smiles on their faces. Typical. Those two were never stressed out or scheming because they knew they’d end up with whatever they wanted anyway. Something about oldest sibling privilege.
Speaking of scheming, however, Leo seemed rather intrigued by Mikey’s choice to forfeit the lollipop, but his interest was certainly piqued.
However, the reaction, or lack thereof, from Donnie was what scared the box turtle the most. The flitter of his eyes across the spread of available candy clued him in that Donnie was already calculating his next move, likely attempting to come out of the interaction with as many purple candies he could get. On theme for him, both the complex calculations over trifling matters and desiring purple wrappers.
But Mikey did not have much time to analyze all of the mixed reactions as the exchange demanded to continue. He swiftly traded out the crystalized candy for a small chocolate bar. One for one.
And the turn passed on to his left.

I don’t know about other people, but I’m my family we always followed tip trick or treating with business negotiations to swap candy, and I know these goobers would get intense with it)
