IT'S OFFICIAL! Mark your calendars, Scerek Weekend Fest is making a comeback on 17-19 November 2023!

Scerek Weekend Fest is a 3-day event running through Friday to Sunday that focuses on making new content for Scerek without any preset themes. All types of fanworks are allowed and it doesn’t have to be inherently just romantic! Platonic, queer-platonic, however way you see their relationship is a-okay.

Scerek Weekend Fest 2023

Scott and Derek cross paths in the video store, specifically in the horror section. As Scott's eyes land on Derek, a surge of familiarity washes over him. He remembers glimpsing Derek's face on his father's desk, accidentally stumbling upon his rap sheet during a recent visit to his workplace.

Scott can’t help but be instantly captivated by Derek's charisma. Every Friday, he finds himself eagerly returning to the video store, hoping for another chance encounter with the tall, dark, and handsome stranger. It becomes a ritual for them to meet in the horror section, their shared love for spine-chilling films bringing them together.

Driven by his infatuation, Scott takes a daring step. He manages to discreetly obtain Derek's phone number from his father's files. Summoning his courage, he decides to make a bold move and send Derek a flirtatious photo. To his surprise, Derek reciprocates with an equally enticing image.

Their connection deepens, and Derek extends an invitation for Scott to visit his place. They bond over their favourite scary movies, finding solace in the shared thrill of the genre. They revelled in their shared love for the macabre, often spending nights watching horror films, cuddled up on Derek's couch, their bodies intertwined. Scott’s heart races every time he sees Derek and he can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and danger in their secret romance.

In a mischievous twist, Derek convinces Scott to dress up as Ghostface, the iconic character from the "Scream" franchise that they both adore. Together, they embark on mischievous adventures, roaming the town and revelling in the thrill of their escapades from prank calls to graffiti to arson to petty theft and Derek revels in corrupting the detective’s son, so eager to experience and enjoy the life he’s always craved.
