“sieun,” you smile, gently knocking your shoulder into his as a form of greeting. 

“y/n,” he greets curtly in response as you continue to follow him through the somewhat crowded hallway. sieun glances down momentarily when your hand brushes against his. an unfamiliar feeling of love and warmth crawls through him at the simple gesture despite affection only becoming more commonplace the longer your relationship continues on.

the heavy doors of byeoksan high school slam shut behind you as you continue to follow behind sieun. despite his seeming apathy, you know he appreciates the company. 

your footsteps remain in sync as sieun silently passes an earbud to you before a familiar melody reaches your ears. “your place?”

his only response comes in the form of a short hum in agreement. trees shade the path ahead as you make your way to the bus stop; waiting in silence together for a few minutes. you softly smile when sieun reaches over, intertwining your fingers together.

the duration of the bus ride and subsequent walk up to his apartment is spent in a comforting silence; besides the quiet music playing from sieun’s earbud still securely resting in your ear. his hand doesn’t leave yours until he reaches up to unlock the door. 

you slip off your shoes as soon as you walk inside, following the same routine you’ve had since sieun first agreed to begin studying with you: slip on your designated pair of slides, study with sieun for a few hours, eventually grow tired enough to force him to eat something, and end the day by falling asleep together curled up on the couch; savoring each moment of peace before you’re forced to get up again and repeat the process the next day.

you join sieun at his dining room table as he takes a textbook out of his bag. you slide into the chair across from him, pulling out your own work before handing the earbud back to him. 

the next hour is spent in a comfortable silence; the only sounds audible in sieun’s small apartment are the occasional frustrated sigh that escapes your lips and the rhythmic noise of his pencil scribbling against his notebook paper. 

you find yourself occasionally losing interest in your homework, instead passing the time by admiring your adoring boyfriend. it isn’t long before your staring catches sieun’s attention. his eyes widen and a small blush spreads up his neck to the tips of his ears, making you chuckle.

“sieun,” you smile. 

“y/n.” he refuses to glance up at you in fear of more teasing, though his efforts do little to prevent you from abandoning your assignment in favor of your boyfriend. you set your pencil aside as you reach over, brushing a stray strand of his fringe back into place. sieun’s blush deepens, now spreading across his cheeks to dust his face a light pink. wide eyes meet yours for a few more seconds before he looks back down at the open textbook in front of him. “you should get back to work.”

you stand up, walking around to sieun’s side of the table. he watches with wide eyes as you gently push his chair back before settling yourself in his lap. your knees rest on either side of his hips as your arms reach around his neck. “i could,” you murmur, leaning in closer to him. “but this is way more fun.”

you can nearly feel the heat radiating from sieun’s cheeks as you pull him into a sweet kiss. he hesitantly moves a hand up to brush a strand of hair out of your face before it finally settles on your cheek. you smile against his lips as sieun lets himself momentarily forget about his work; instead pulling you in for another, and another, and another.

You leave a trail of kisses up your girlfriend's neck and you hear her moaning under your touch as you wrap your fingers around her hand that fits so perfectly into yours. When you lift your head you bite your lip at the image of you towering above her in the mirror, and you chuckle when you see the blush dusted onto her cheeks. 

"So cute..." you mutter with a smile, and when you bury your nose in the crook of her neck to scatter kisses on the other side as well, you add, "and so tiny." Sieun whines as she furrows her brows, but that expression is quickly wiped off her face as you dip a finger inside her with your hands down her sweatpants that she had worn for practice that day. You had come to visit her after doing some individual dance practice at her company, and somehow a simple conversation quickly turned to you pinning her against the big mirror, her back pressed against your chest, and your girlfriend trying her best to keep her voice down as she moans at every single one of your touches.

"W-what if someone walks in on us?" she voices a concern, squeezing her eyes shut when she feels you slowly pumping your fingers in and out of her.

"Don't worry, baby," you coo at her, now kissing her cheek. "I locked up." A whine of defeat coming from her tells you she still isn't completely satisfied with the situation, but it seems she also doesn't have the will to do anything about it. Instead, all she can do is continue to quietly whine at your touches, until the growing frustration becomes visible on her face, and she urges you on for more.

"Faster..." she whimpers, and how couldn't you comply when she's this cute?

"Of course..." you mutter absentmindedly, now letting go of her hand that's significantly smaller than yours, in order to have your fingertips roam her body. Fingering her just a little quicker, you let your free hand slip underneath her shirt, palm exploring her upper body as if it was the first time. Eventually you find her chest, cupping one of her breasts in your hand and rolling her nipple between your fingers, making her throw her head back.

"So small and cute..." you mutter again, squeezing her nipple and almost making her cry out if it wasn't for her biting down on her lower lip to suppress the sound. "I'm gonna go crazy because of how gorgeous you are one day..." you add, nipping at the skin on her nape while you feel her getting wetter from the way you're working your fingers on her. "Mhm..." she whimpers as you speed up your movements and you watch her squirming in the mirror.

— he’s SO awkward when you first meet

— probably ignores you at first lmao

— sieun doesn’t care much about his peers/other classmates but you catch his eye because of your intelligence

— he still focus more on his studies tho

sieun sits at his usual seat in class, hunched over his desk as he reviews his notes for an upcoming english exam. his hand hovers just above the paper as he skims through the words and makes small mental notes about which parts to continue practicing.

the sudden halted chatter from his classmates catches sieun’s attention. he glances up briefly, setting his pencil aside when he notices his teacher standing in her usual position at the front of the classroom. beside her is an unfamiliar teenager wearing a thin black jacket draped over the school’s button up. 

“class,” the teacher begins, gesturing to you. “this is y/n. they’re a new student here.”

“hello,” you say, bowing to the class. 

“there’s an open spot next to sieun,” she says, gently pushing you towards him. “you can sit there for now.”

sieun lets out a small sigh in annoyance as you shuffle over before sliding into the seat beside him. the mindless chatter of your classmates resumes as the door closes, signaling your teacher’s exit. he reaches over to grab his earbuds once again, reaching up to place one into his ear when a voice interrupts him. “number four is wrong.”

sieun stops in his tracks, glaring in your direction. you had also pulled out a notebook, filled with your own scribbled notes and miscellaneous doodles decorating the corners. “it’s a dependant clause, not independent,” you elaborate before turning back to your own notes. 

despite his better judgment, sieun backtracks to question four. he scoffs slightly when he rereads the question again. you were right. 

“thanks,” he mumbles. 

you simply smile, waving him off with the slight shake of your head. “anytime.”

⋆｡°✩ first date

— you have to ask him out. he will never make the first move

— needs a lot of reassurance. this is his first relationship and he likes you a lot. he doesn’t wanna mess it up. bare with him

— probably started off as a study hangout and turned into a study date ngl

you flip your pen between your fingers as you watch sieun continue to scribble down notes. his apartment remains silent except for the occasional noise of either of you flipping through your textbooks or the incessant noise of sieun’s pencil against the page. 

you set your own pencil aside, ignoring your notes in favour of admiring the boy in front of you. sieun’s fringe is just barely short enough to avoid falling into his eyes. his eyebrows furrow every now and then as his eyes rapidly switch between his notebook and the textbook laid out beside him. his teeth catch his bottom lip between them - a particularly attractive habit you had noticed over the months of getting to know each other. 

siuen pauses when he notices your lack of writing, glancing up at you momentarily. you can’t help the soft smile that spreads across your face when you notice his cheeks heating up slightly. 

“you’re staring,” he says.

“i’m admiring,” you tease. sieun’s writing pauses for a second before resuming, though his blush has spread fully across his face, tinting the skin a light pink. 

a tranquil silence falls over the room once again. it feels so intimate - sitting with sieun in his quiet apartment. your little quirks have made their way into his life despite your young age. a new pair of slides sits at the door, awaiting your arrival. the front pouch of sieun’s backpack has been cleaned out of the usual pencils and highlighters in favour of snacks and packets of gum for you to take at your convenience. he no longer reaches for his left earbud; the small device being reserved for you. 

your feelings for sieun jumble together in a mess of half-finished love letters and detailed confessions deeply confined to your mind. after spending over a month suppressing the urge to tell him, you finally can’t help yourself anymore.

“sieun,” you reach out to take his hand into yours. you smile as he intertwines your fingers together. he stops his studying to look up at you - something he’s never done for anyone else. “i like you.”

his eyes widen in surprise. your breath hitches in your throat and your body tenses. it feels like hours of waiting for his reaction before he finally speaks. 

“i like you too.”

a bright smile spreads across your face, making sieun’s lips quirk upwards into a soft smile of his own. “will you be mine?”

“only if you’ll be mine too,” he smiles as he squeezes your still-intertwined hands.

— more of a peck than an actual kiss tbh

— it takes a lot of trust and vulnerability to get to this point with siuen. he’s not used to feeling love or affection so kisses mean a lot to you

you sigh to yourself, dramatically stretching before a yawn escapes you. the noise catches sieun’s attention, making him pause momentarily as he watches you attempt to blink some of the sleepiness out of your eyes. “you should get some rest,” he says. 

you glance at your textbook once more before nodding with another small sigh. “so should you. you’ve been working for even longer than i have.”

“i’m fine.” the words escape sieun’s lips almost instinctively as he continues his studying. you resist the urge to roll your eyes, closing your textbook and shoving it into your backpack in preparation for school the next day. 

“sieun…” you circle around the dining room table so you’re standing behind your boyfriend. you lean down to gently rest your hands on his shoulders, gently massaging the tense muscles. a small sigh of content escapes him as you lean down to press a chaste kiss against his cheek. “you’re exhausted. come on, let’s go to bed.”

sieun finally relents after a few more seconds, letting his own pencil fall to the side before he stands up. your arm snakes around his waist as you help him tidy up; rhythmically packing up his pencils into the case and sliding each textbook back into its rightful place inside of his bag. 

you set your backpacks beside each other as you guide sieun towards his bedroom. his bed remains in the corner, still perfectly tidied from his morning routine. 

sieun climbs into bed first, sliding underneath the covers before you join him. his arm finds its familiar home around your waist to keep your body closely against his. you bring your hand up to cup sieun’s cheek, brushing your thumb against his soft skin. he smiles as your fingers trail down his face to trace along his jawline before they finally settle underneath his chin. 

sieun’s breath hitches when you brush your thumb against his plump bottom lip. he’s grateful for the darkness covers the blush burning on his cheeks. your voice is quiet when you break the silence. “sieun,” you whisper.

“what is it?”

“can i kiss you?”

his body tenses beside you before he forces himself to relax. sieun can feel his heart beating erratically in his chest. “i’ve… never kissed anybody before.”

“it’s okay.” even in the moonlight he can see you softly smiling at him. “we can take it slow, okay? i won’t do anything you’re not comfortable with.”

he knows. sieun has never felt safe with anyone like he does with you. but he nods nevertheless. “please kiss me,” he whispers. 

your hand moves from his chin to cup his cheek once again. after a few seconds you finally lean in, gently pressing your lips against his in a sweet kiss. 

sieun brings his own hand up to your cheek, hesitantly leaning in and replicating your movements. this one lasts much longer than the first. you can nearly feel all of the love being poured into it. 

you both smile when you finally pull away, pressing a final peck against his lips. you lean in closer, nuzzling your face into the crook of sieun’s neck. you press a chaste kiss against the exposed skin of his neck as you let out a small content sigh, finally letting your eyes flutter closed as you begin to fall asleep. “i love you,” you whisper.

sieun presses a kiss against your forehead. “i love you too.”

— not a huge fan of pda. he doesn’t like the attention and would rather keep your moments together private

— not very touchy but he likes when you hold his hand/intertwine your arms together (especially if it’s an unconscious thing)

— SO PROTECTIVE. sieun is 100% willing to throw himself between you and any bullies 

— his kisses are short and sweet. kiss him as a reward for a good grade or reassurance and his face will light up

— sometimes if he’s feeling extra confident he’ll kiss you in public

— has moments of insecurity pretty often. siuen was neglected as a kid and bullied as a teenager. he needs to know that you love and care about him for him and not out of sympathy

— he needs reminders to eat/sleep/drink water. falls a little more in love every time you do little things for him

— his love languages are quality time/acts of service. quietly studying together until you get up to make him some food as he reviews your notes for you are some of his fav moments with you

— gets clingy when he’s tired. pull him away from his studying, help him wash up, kiss his forehead, and pull him into your arms and he will MELT

Stardrop (Part 1/?)

A drabble about Kitae, mostly from his mother’s point of view.

If anyone were to look at the twins, they might be able to notice similarities. It’s the moment they open their mouths that it’s different. Sieun is loud, boisterous, no fear. She lights up a room without effort. Kitae is different. He’s born a quiet baby, to the point Seunghee worries if something’s wrong with him. And perhaps his bond with his mother stems from there, from being protected a little more. Not that she didn’t protect Sieun, but it seemed that their little stardrop needed a little more encouragement. When he hits two and still isn’t flying while his sister is fully in flight, Seunghee brings this up to Illhoon. He should be flying by now. Determining that their child is flight delayed isn’t the problem to Seunghee as much as is the way Kitae’s little voice asks “Kikay no fly?”

But he does fly. It takes several times of practicing with Illhoon, but it’s not long before Kitae is flying next to his sister. She doesn’t worry about Kitae much in the flying department after that, but more in the emotional department. He’s a sweetheart, he’s clingy, he’s helpful to his friends. For a preschooler, at least. Entering the three-year-old class proves to be a bit of a bear. He’s a clingy child, hiding behind his mother’s legs while his twin sister excitedly runs into the room. It takes more time to pull him away, lots of reassurance, and a promise that “daddy’s going to pick you up later.” Which always seems to make Kitae light up.

The second week is when Kim Hyojin starts school, a bright boy and Lachlan and Byeol’s only child. He’s bright, talkative, babbling about the latest show he watched this morning during his breakfast and how he likes paw patrol. He takes one look at Kitae and makes the split second decision that Kitae is Hyojin’s best friend. “Kikay come! Paw Patwol!” By the end of the day when Illhoon and Lachlan pick their sons up, his teachers are talking about how Kitae and Hyojin were inseparable the entire day. It doesn’t change even through high school.

Seunghee watches her children grow up, as Sieun has her first heartbreaks and how Kitae is usually right behind to spend time with his sister. He’s so quiet still, even as a young man. His friends affectionately call him a homebody, and she notices that Kitae is usually at home with them. He knows how to cook, his room is pristine. Despite her urging, he always finds a reason to come home early to the point she wonders if he has social anxiety.

She teaches Kitae how to play guitar, watches him flourish as he learns. He proudly comes home with a fender guitar one day and tells her how he saved up all his money from doing tutoring sessions after school, and she wonders if she hadn’t been noticing or he’d told her and she hadn’t heard it. When Seunghee and Illhoon are called for a parent-teacher conference, they assume that Kitae’s done something wrong. When the teachers gush about him, she feels a swell of pride. He has top marks, he’s class president, he’s well liked despite how reserved he is. His teachers tell her and Illhoon that he came to defense of a female student and saved her life on his walk home from school the day before. Why hadn’t she known all this? This is what gets Kitae a trip to talk to a psychologist.

“He’s anxious, but so is any teenager who has a lot of stress on his shoulders.” The psychologist tells them. He’s quiet on the way home, reclusive when he ends up in his room later that day.

omg bangs… i used to have them and that was a HUGE mistake because unfortunately! they’re not made for everyone🫠 however i’m sure u look really cute even with the wind as ur number one enemy. holiday for me has officially started! i got lots of sweets off of teachers and my friends mum bought us all mcdonald’s when she drove us home and :( i love them sm they’re all so sweet !!!

i’m glad u liked the jeongin drabble ㅠㅠ it was a little depressing but i thought the writing was pretty nice… and also i read it as my name but i don’t imagine it as me??? like i find it awkward to read it as anything else bc it sounds weird but in my head i’m viewing it from a completely different pov and i am definitely not the person who y/n is?? i guess y/n rlly is just a customisable oc who changes for every person… but overall i agree w u HSHDH

and finally for korean recourses!!! i didn’t forget

biggest and easiest one i recommend for after hangul is ttmik! it has a free course with 10 different secretions (each 30 lessons or there abts) and it gives you ALL you need. if u feel like paying for premium you get listening practice as well as revision help and access to ALL their other courses! they even have speaking ones now! it’s my fav recourse to use personally bc premium isn’t much but it offers lots, and even if you don’t want to pay you still get lots of free help and support (even through their youtube channel—there is lots of help there too!)

analysing lyrics/kdrama sentences/any text in korean is really useful, especially if it’s from a song or show you like! you can get a feel of both sentence structure (more so in k-show scripts) and a lot of new vocab too. if there’s grammar you don’t know then you can just focus on vocab and which is easy enough to pick out and learning that is a huge help for expanding vocabulary. same w webtoons!! you can download the korean webtoon app and pick one to analyse or one with easier vocab (true beauty is pretty good esp if you’ve read it in english!)

quizlet is a life saver for learning vocab and memorising grammar structures and it’s so easy to type in if you just add the korean keyboard to your phone! also naver dictionary is really useful and has all the topic vocab, tasks to help you learn basic conversational korean and even examples of vocab from vlives! that is basically all of the recourses i use, but the biggest tip i guess would just be to make sure you learn vocab just as fast as grammar? bc i slightly neglected vocab and now i am making up lost time :,) a lot of the time even without fully understanding the grammar you can get a general gist of a conversation if you know the words used, so try and get as much vocab in as possible! ttmik will help with that but there are also just vocab lists you can add on google and search for too <3

your eyes flutter closed as you lean your head down against your folded arms, zoning out the lecture from your math teacher in favour of getting a few more minutes of sleep. you can all but feel sieun’s eyes on you as his glare burns a hole into your head.

you startle awake when the bell rings, announcing the end of your class. you stifle a yawn as you quickly shove your books into your backpack before making your way over to sieun’s desk. you softly smile down at him as he tugs his own bag over his shoulders. 

“ready?” 

sieun simply nods, silently reaching over to take your hand into his. he subtly tugs you away from the side of the door before your shoulder hits the metal frame. 

you absentmindedly swing your intertwined hands as you follow sieun down the steps of the school and up to his apartment. “you really should pay attention in class,” he says as he momentarily lets go to unlock his front door. 

you let out a small hum in response. sieun watches as you kick your shoes off and slip your feet into a special pair of slides he had bought shortly after you started dating. “why would i? you’re my favourite teacher anyway.”

sieun’s face flushes slightly when you lean down to press a quick kiss against his forehead before you make yourself comfortable at his dining table. he sits across from you at the table as you pull out your textbooks and worksheets. 

hours pass by with nothing but the occasional noise of a page being flipped or sieun’s pencil scratching against his notebook. you lean back in your chair to stretch out your sore muscles. you flip through the last remaining pages filled with problems; a soft huff escapes you at the seemingly never ending list. 

you cover your face with your hand as yet another yawn escapes you. you rest your head against your hand; your tired eyes drifting from the pages of practice problems up to your boyfriend instead. your lips quirk into a soft smile as you observe each of his delicate features: his full cheeks; the way his eyes light up whenever he solves a new problem; his chapped lips and the way he occasionally bites them whenever he gets stuck.

sieun glances up at you with slightly furrowed eyebrows at the prolonged silence. “y/n?” he whispers. 

“hm?” 

“...did you hear me?”

“sorry,” you chuckle, shaking your head slightly. “i was distracted by seeing the most handsome boy i’ve ever seen in front of me.”

sieun’s face flushes a deep red. he lets out a nervous chuckle as he glances back down at his textbook to gather his composure before looking back up at you. “tired?”

“exhausted,” you hum. you rub the tiredness out of your eyes once again. 

sieun closes his notebook, reaching over to grab your hand as he stands up. “come on, then,” he says. you furrow your eyebrows slightly but follow him nonetheless, letting him guide you into his bedroom. 

inside is a small room with a bed sitting in the corner and a desk pushed up against the adjacent wall. various notes and passages have been taped up to the wall. sheer, white curtains delicately hang over the only window in the room. 

sieun guides you over to his bed to sit beside him. you silently follow his lead as you lay down beside him underneath the covers. you curl up beside his body as best as you can despite the small space, letting out a content sigh as he gently rubs a hand against your back to soothe you. “i love you, sieun,” you whisper.

he softly smiles before leaning down to press a kiss against your forehead. “get some rest, y/n.”
