for remakes, a lot of people that are used to the styles from back then hate what styles are more popular now and used to "appeal to a wider audience" and to a degree, i get it. (this is mostly in regards to jrpgs and more "anime" styles, be it "anime" styles from 2000s-2010s vs now or anything) but like. sometimes the new graphics arent THAT bad and people just wanna complain to complain. that was the style for back then, and this is the style for now. it really is not that bad/big of a deal imo. i dont think the ones from back then are terrible but the new ones are also just generally nicer???? the only complaints i have would be on music choices tbh and how sometimes, "fully reorchestrated soundtracks" are worse.

this is in reference to nier and to a degree, wind waker hd. i also would not mind if drakengard (1) got a remake, but im ngl, i would prefer it didnt. if it did, take out all the censorship or something idk? but it is unique in that it is awful and definitely should stay that way LMAO
