“Maybe.” Roman doubted it. His grandmother had picked someone out. There was no way she’d be nice. But he didn’t say that, instead he quietly said, “I get to meet her soon according to Grandmother.” 

“Hm.” Ashe didn’t say anything else, but stayed next to him in silence as he lamented the loss of his freedom.
