years pass , and yeonjin graduates from high school with an acceptance to ewha womans university in her back pocket . a communications and media major , it's not a surprise that yeonjin knows her way around social media and how to market herself . now , she always had something of a following on social media , but she was able to grow said following once she began sharing more of her lavish lifestyle . at first , yeonjin thinks nothing of it until she's approached to appear in a music video for a popular idol group . yeonjin graduates from ewha with a newfound fame , suddenly finding herself attending seoul fashion week , and getting invited to some of the city's most exclusive events . eventually , she makes the solo move across the pond to new york , where she has been for the last year and a half .

for the time that she's been in new york , yeonjin has been something of a media darling as she is often talked about in the media for her fashion style as well as her lavish lifestyle , as she's been living at the baccarat hotel since she made her move .

yeonjin lives at the baccarat hotel simply because she couldn't imagine beind a homeowner at her age . she doesn't even want to rent . she doesn't have a single homemaker bone in her body , and the most she can do is make herself a pot of ramen , and that's on a good day .

she's got a bad case of mommy issues and would honestly prefer to not talk about her . the two have never seen eye to eye , and they most likely never will . her sisters are not close to her at all , often leaving yeonjin to feel as though she's on an island all by herself . she doesn't want to have a relationship with them , despite how much her grandparents would like for her to .
